Republicans and Tea Party allies have the Democrats on the run.

Political cartoonists are having a field day with Obama.
It only took two million tax protesters marching on Washington, D.C. a year ago to start the ball rolling. The Tea Party was born and the protests that sprung up across the nation fanned the flames. This was not going to be a good year for Democrats. Here are a few comments from the national conservative news blogs and a few candid revelations from the mainstream liberal news media.
Glenn Beck’s newsletter reports:

Soros: I can't stop it this time
George Soros, billionaire and financier of all things progressive, seems to be pulling a France and surrendering the mid-term elections to the GOP. He says there is nothing he can do to stop the avalanche that's coming. Spin that one, Nancy!
Even CBS calls out Dems
Remember when Democrats said they'd run on the merits of healthcare and all the great things Obama is doing? That hasn't exactly panned out as they had hoped. In fact it's much much worse. Democrats are running scared - one ad has a Democratic candidate touting he voted AGAINST Pelosi 63% of the time. Even CBS is calling (it) BS.
Newsmax, the conservative web site, confirms it saying: “Despite their ploys, even liberal billionaire George Soros is predicting a GOP "avalanche" in November.
Now Dick Morris, the famous Fox News analyst, has a strategy for the GOP to win 100 seats. Yes, 100!”
Dateline Cincinnati: WCPO.com reports: “CINCINNATI - The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has pulled $500,000 worth of television ads supporting Steve Driehaus. Recent polls show Driehaus trailing Chabot in the polls.”
DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen released the following statement on Tuesday:

"With the NRCC's decision to pull out of this district, the DCCC has adjusted our activity accordingly, however we continue to be fully invested in voter contact efforts.”
One comment from a reader said: “Sounds like the Democrats see the writing on the wall, and don't want to waste their money on a loser.  The only reason Driehaus won in the first place is because, everyone was on the Obama wagon.  Now, most of us have taken off our 3-D glasses and see the real picture!!  Maybe the elephants weren't so bad afterall.”
FOX News reports: GOP Dominates in Ohio as Obama Falls to New Low
Ohio Republicans continue to dominate Buckeye State politics this year amid widespread dissatisfaction with Obama.
Cincinnati Enquirer 10-12-2010
In a sign that Democrats may be waving the white flag in Ohio’s 1st Congressional District, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has pulled over $500,000 in TV advertising on Cincinnati TV stations in support of Rep. Steve Driehaus, the Price Hill Democrat who is trying to win a second term in Congress.

DCCC officials and the Driehaus campaign deny that the pulling of TV time reserved here - $524,625 worth - means that the Democratic party is giving up on Driehaus’ chance of defeating former Rep. Steve Chabot, R-Westwood, who had held the seat for 14 years before losing it to Driehaus in 2008. A Survey USA poll commissioned by the Enquirer  last week showed Driehaus trailing Chabot by 12 percentage points.

And the artists who draw political cartoons have been having a field day with Obama and his Chicago-style political machine.
