From the time the Pilgrims arrived on American soil, faith in God played an important part in shaping our nation. Images of Moses adorn the Supreme Court in recognition of the Judeo-Christian origin of our laws. But it was Taxes, loss of Liberty and oppression from a mad king that led our Founding Fathers to write The Declaration of Independence and start The American Revolution. Today, those who stand for these ideals no longer call themselves The Silent Majority because we are silent no more.
You may find the title of this post incredible to believe but the following two videos confirm the truth. The truth is in the words and actions of top officials of the United States government from their own mouths. Actions do speak louder than words and when the U.S. government dictates that the Islamic book, called the Qur'an, filled with hatred for every non-Muslim in the world, is to be treated with dignity and respect, while saying at the same time the Christian Holy Bible is nothing more than garbage that can be burned and has been burned, it is not only hypocrisy but it is pandering to the superiority of Islamic Sharia Law. The following message came from ACT for America as an introduction to the first video below.
Last fall, after NPR fired Juan Williams for his remarks on The O’Reilly Factor about Muslims, ACT for America sent out an email describing this as an example of the de facto imposition of sharia law in America.
Their point was this.
Sharia law prohibits any criticism or “defamation” of Islam or Mohammed. When a government-funded entity like NPR punishes one of its contributors for a perceived slight against Islam, this is in effect the enforcement of that provision of sharia law.
Recently, an insightful and entertaining video was posted on YouTube entitled Shariamerica: Islam, Obama, and the Establishment Clause (see below) that makes the claim that the government’s treatment of the Koran, compared to its treatment of the Bible, has the effect of establishing Islam as a preferred religion in America.
It’s a fascinating analysis that is well-worth your time to watch, and you can view it here.
When you watch it, you’ll understand why ACT for America says the threat of radical Islam to America is not confined to terrorism. If we defeat terrorism but lose our freedoms to sharia law, we still lose.

Shariamerica: Islam, Obama, and the Establishment Clause
America is a free country that allows freedom of speech and expression and we have tolerated groups of people with many diverse ideas, including groups of people who hate America. But now some of those people who hate America occupy some of the highest positions of power in our government. They hate what America stands for and work diligently to CHANGE what we are while enriching their wealth at the same time. These people have sold their souls to the devil for their own personal gain.
The interesting fact is that while many hate groups disagree with each other they often support each other for because of their common goals. Liberal Democrats and their smaller group the Democratic Socialists of America, which has 70 members in Congress, support Socialism and the destruction of our U.S. Constitution. The Communist Party, USA feels the same way and receive sympathetic support and endorsements from the Liberal news media and labor unions. Congressional members of the Black Caucus have praised Cuba's communist leader Fidel Castro. See article in Politico, April 7, 2009.
Fundamental Muslims who follow the literal Qur'an oppose all forms of man-made governments and want to CHANGE America into an Islamic Republic governed by Sharia Law. Many big labor unions such as the National Education Association and the United Federation of Teachers, Communication Workers of America and the infamous SEIU (Service Employees International Union), all infiltrated with communist sympathizers traditionally support Democratic Party candidates, promote socialism and increasingly, promote Islam. The same leftist news media covers up incidents about Muslim acts of terrorism in the U.S. by eliminating references to the Muslim religion.
The battle to save America isn't going to be won by a bunch of bumper-sticker patriots sitting at home on the hands watching television. We must all become actively involved in politics on a local level. Tell your elected officials that you are watching them and tell them how you feel about what they're doing. In other words, get informed and get involved before its too late. And, if you've read this far, I strongly urge you to read the speech that Geert Wilders gave to an audience in Tennessee two days ago. Wilders is an elected member of Parliament in the Netherlands and his speech was entitled a "Warning to America". Here is the link over at Pamela Geller's Atlas Shrugs. Europe is much closer to the problem than we are.
