We take certain phrases for granted in our language and often don't ask ourselves about the explanation or obvious contradictions. Take, for example, a story that appeared in the newspaper today by the Associated Press reporter Chris Brummitt that carried the headline in the Kentucky Enquirer: "Pakistanis offer tales of militants' training camps". Chris Brummitt's story was picked up and reported in several newspapers as the link to Google shows. The AP reporter writes about three training camps for Islamic militants that operate in Pakistan. I quote one sentence here about one of those camps referred to by some villagers: "When pressed they say it's a secret training complex for Islamic militants and that the Pakistan army is aware of it - even though the army denies it exists." The AP story uses the term "Islamic militants" several more times without further explanation. So what exactly is an "Islamic militant"?
Islam is supposed to be a religion and Barack Hussein Obama II has said: "We are not at war with Islam.". If we are not at war with Islam than who or what are the Islamic militants and who are they against?
The facts of the matter are that Islam is a cult operating under many guises in almost every part of the world. It is a form of government as in the Islamic Sharia Law that governs Saudi Arabia and Iran and, to lesser degree in many other Arab countries. The militant form of Islam becomes the backbone of terrorist groups such as al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. And coincidentally, Pakistan is not the only country to have "secret Islamic militant training camps", we have them also in America and some have been written about on this blog and others for years. One particular blog, Northeast Intelligence Network has posted a story that details the names and locations of some of these Islamic militants' training camps in America in this report:
Muslim Terrorist Training Camps in North America
New report of radical, anti-U.S. Islamic centers confirms our 2004-05 findings
Investigative report by Douglas J. Hagmann, Director
Private undercover team exposes nationwide network of radical, anti-U.S. Islamic centers and supports our investigative findings…
Mosques and Islamic centers in the U.S. are actively teaching jihad ideology and paramilitary training in the U.S.
“I have sources – inside sources. These people at Best are armed and dangerous. They are doing paramilitary training there.”– Statement by former city council member about an Islamic Center in the city of Buffalo, NY. [Reported by Douglas J. Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, September, 2004]
“Our initial investigation has concluded there are between 400 to 500 radical Islamic centers in the U.S. In those places, they preach an extreme version of Islam that says America and the West is the enemy. They espouse violence, hatred and the need for terrorism.” –Reported by David Gaubatz, director of counterintelligence and counterterrorism for the Society of Americans for National Existence and former senior U.S. intelligence official, June 2007
Image from covert surveillance of Islamic center in Buffalo, NY. Children playing or paramilitary exercise? 28 June 2007:
On 27 May 2005, the Northeast Intelligence Network published an investigative report titled "Islamic Jihad Training in America?" that summarized the findings of our extensive investigation and covert surveillance of mosques and Islamic centers inside the U.S. that are purportedly teaching Islamic “jihad” in the form of ideological teachings and paramilitary style training to members of such Islamic centers. The report is available by request (e-mailed in PDF format).
School bus used for target practice located at Islamic “educational” camp in Hancock, NY. Harmless shooting, or something more sinister?
The primary focus of “Part I” of our investigation was the Islamic center located in the city of Buffalo, New York, a location that could be used as a template for other locations inside the U.S. The Northeast Intelligence Network first disclosed our investigative findings exclusively on The Tom Bauerle Show, featured on WBEN 930-AM in late 2004, prior to the issuance of our written report. Our findings, based on photographic documentation and information obtained through interviews, research, and other investigative methods, suggest that the ideology and practical aspects of Islamic Jihad is being taught at mosques and Islamic centers inside the United States, and those in charge of the Islamic centers are not being truthful to the public about their teachings. [Click "read more" above to continue reading].
In addition to photographic and other documentation we obtained relevant to the Buffalo, NY Islamic Center, the Northeast Intelligence Network found instances where the Imam of the Buffalo, NY Islamic center, Ibriham MEMON, appeared to propagate hatred of non-believers of Islam in a speech he gave at an Islamic conference – statements that could serve to exemplify our findings in this brief audio clip.
Unsurprisingly, our findings were challenged by not only those who operate the Islamic centers, but by a broader spectrum of people who, in spite of the evidence presented, did not – and still do not believe such activities and teachings are taking place. The recent investigative findings of Mr. Gaubatz, a former counter-intelligence official, are consistent with the reports we issued in 2004-05, and serve to reinforce our findings. Perhaps now more people will awaken to the fact that hundreds of Islamic centers in the United States have become a hot-bed of extremist activity; they promote violence, terrorism and hatred against America.

Some other stories about Islamic militant training camps in America have appeared on websites such as Prison Planet's report on camps in Alabama that were originally mentioned on ABC News,
Preparing for Jihad in AlabamaIslamic Militant Training Camp Allegedly Operating in Alabama
By Brian Ross
July 25 A training camp linked to Islamic militants has been operating in Alabama, and European law enforcement officials believe Muslim extremists were using it to prepare for a holy war.
British authorities also thought that militants from overseas were training in the United States to take advantage of America's gun laws, sources told ABCNEWS. The looming question for law enforcement is whether there is a connection between the camp and the al Qaeda terror network.
An investigation by Britain's Scotland Yard led to the discovery of the camp in Marion, Ala. The facility is called "Ground Zero USA."
Bullet-riddled police cars and a school bus with mannequin targets are scattered around the property. Inside a huge shed is an equally macabre scene shot-up mannequins, male and female, in domestic settings, some with red, blood-like stains on them.
Ground Zero's operators promised state-of-the-art, world-class training in automatic weapons, urban warfare, SWAT tactics and martial arts, supposedly to fight terror attacks.
Marion Police Chief Tony Buford said he became suspicious of the use of police cars and buses as targets.
"It was rumored that the camp here was used as training site for possible people that were sent here to do bodily harm to Americans," Buford told ABC NEWS.
Web Site Provides Terror Link
The suspected terror ties of the Alabama camp were unknown until after Sept. 11, when officials in London arrested an accused al Qaeda supporter, Zain-ul-Albidin
He is charged with operation of a Web site, under the name of Sakina Security, allegedly recruiting Muslims for an Islamic jihad or holy war. He is now on trial in London.
The site, since taken down by British authorities, described what seemed to be the Alabama camp, including live-fire exercises at a state-of-the-art shooting range in the United States something that would not be legal in Britain.
"In the United States, it is not illegal for anyone to receive military training, high-grade military training," said Rohan Gunaratna, author of Inside Al Qaeda.
The actual owners of camp, who are also British, say it was used primarily to train law enforcement personnel. Officials consider them unwitting accomplices. The camp owners declined to talk to ABCNEWS.
Scale of Secret Camps Unknown
It is not known how many holy war recruits came through the camp or when. But the FBI is now investigating a number of suspected training camps around the country.
"We know of a number of cases where Islamic terrorists came and training in this country in the early 1990s. It is likely that this scale of training is still continuing," Gunaratna said.
The most radical and belligerent of London's Islamic clerics, Abu Hamza, told ABCNEWS in a phone call that America's laws make such paramilitary training easy, "like a picnic."
British intelligence officials told ABCNEWS they are closely examining alleged ties between Hamza, who is said to have recruited alleged "20th hijacker" Zacarias Moussaoui, and Zain-ul-Albidin.
Steve Emerson, who runs the Investigative Project on Terrorism, provided the information that was used to compile this map of many of these Islamic militant training camps located throughout America. As the date on the map says, this is almost 7 years old. His web site contains an up-to-date encyclopedia of data on the subject.
The web site Political Vel Craft reposted the map above along with the following commentary:
At least seven such communities are active today, in Hancock, N.Y.; Red House, Va.; Tulare County, Calif.; Commerce, Ga.; York, S.C.; Dover, Tenn.; and Combermere, Canada. While some of these enclaves contain only rudimentary buildings and trailers, the California compound has 300 residents on a 440-acre spread, according to a recent report by a local ABC station. Residents deny any involvement with terror, but Fuqra has a history of getting into trouble with the law.
While the Muslim who occupies the White House bows to the King of Saudi Arabia and demands that our sole ally in the Middle East, Israel, shrink its borders, and tells the world that the Islamic call to prayer is “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.” and that "We are not at war with Islam", Islam continues to be at war with us.
Well, I was just curious about what an Islamic militant was, and a little checking on Google told me everything I wanted to know. They're here, they're real, they hate us and they want to take over our country and turn it into another Islamic Sharia nation. It seems like there is one more location that needs to be added to the list of Islamic militants in America, that is, at least until next year, the White House in Washington, D.C.
