Jihad at Fort Hood: The War on America

A top US Army official confirmed Friday that Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspect in the killing of at least 13 people at a Texas army base shouted the Muslim war cry 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is great) before opening fire.

Army Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, commander of the Fort Hood, Texas, base where the shootings took place on Thursday, made the comment in answer to a question from NBC news.

Gen. Cone said 'there are first hand accounts' to the effect that the suspect, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, had yelled the Muslim religious war chant.

Retired Army Col. Terry Lee, who worked with Major Malik Nadal Hasan at the Texas post said: "Hasan said Muslims had a right to attack" the U.S "He said Muslims shouldn't be fighting Muslims," he added. "He was very clear on that."

There are some 40 Muslims at Fort Hood, and an estimated 15,000 Muslims serving throughout the U.S. armed forces.

According to the Washington Post: Hasan attended the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring and was "very devout," according to Faizul Khan, a former imam at the center. Khan said Hasan attended prayers at least once a day, seven days a week, often in his Army fatigues.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan was member of this extremist Salafi mosque in the D.C. area when he worked at Walter Reed Army Hospital. Dr. Muqtedar Khan, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Adrian College in Michigan describes Salafi as “extremely conservative and narrow-minded. These Muslims practice gender discrimination and segregation as divine law and believe all non-Muslims including Jews and Christians will go to hell unless they embrace Islam.” And “Salafi Muslims usually are also anti-American.” Source:

Supporting the contention that the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring espoused radical teachings, this mosque has had (according to its own web site) featured lecturers such as New York-based Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. Speaking from his New York mosque, Imam Feisal said the West had to understand the (9-11) terrorists' point of view. In a move likely to cause controversy with church leaders, Imam Feisal said it was Christians who started mass attacks on civilians.

The Islamic word for war is Jihad and as per Wikipedia: “Jihad an Islamic term, is a religious duty of Muslims. In Arabic, the word jihād is a noun meaning "struggle." Jihad appears frequently in the Qur'an and common usage as the idiomatic expression "striving in the way of Allah. A person engaged in jihad is called a mujahid, the plural is mujahideen. Jihad requires Muslims to "struggle in the way of God" Jihad is directed against Satan's inducements, aspects of one's own self, or against a visible enemy. The term "Jihad" used without any qualifiers is generally understood in the West to be referring to holy war on behalf of Islam.”

At their press conference this evening members of the Muslim community spun the post traumatic syndrome (even though Hasan was never in Iraq). The media is eating this nonsensical cud right up. This is jihad. As Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs puts it: “The talking heads are spinning this so hard and so fast I think their heads are going to fly off -- which would be appropriate. Not one newscaster, not one, can bring themselves to say ...jihad.”

The Associated Press writes that: “At least six months ago, Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades.”

Hasan’s personal comments on his blog at:

“NidalHasan scribbled: There was a grenade thrown amongs a group of American soldiers. One of the soldiers, feeling that it was to late for everyone to flee jumped on the grave with the intention of saving his comrades. Indeed he saved them. He inentionally took his life (suicide) for a noble cause i.e. saving the lives of his soldier. To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers. If one suicide bomber can kill 100 enemy soldiers because they were caught off guard that would be considered a strategic victory. Their intention is not to die because of some despair. The same can be said for the Kamikazees in Japan. They died (via crashing their planes into ships) to kill the enemies for the homeland. You can call them crazy i you want but their act was not one of suicide that is despised by Islam. So the scholars main point is that "IT SEEMS AS THOUGH YOUR INTENTION IS THE MAIN ISSUE" and Allah (SWT) knows best.”

NBC reported that the death toll had risen to 13, as one of the victims had died overnight. Another 30 people were injured in the shootings. All but two were members of the military, officials said Thursday

The 39-year-old suspect in the killings is a US Army psychiatrist described as a devout Muslim who opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and had been trying to resign from the Army, according to media reports Friday. Devout Muslims (the U.S. variety) don’t believe in killing other Muslims who just may happen to be the enemy of the United States so why, in hell, are they allowed to be in our Armed Forces? Let me repeat something I have already mentioned: There are some 40 Muslims at Fort Hood, and an estimated 15,000 Muslims serving throughout the U.S. armed forces.

How and where does a devout Muslim, who may follow the public image of Islam as a religion of peace and love, become a radical terrorist? Very often from the moment he is brought into their mosque. The answer may be in the people who lead them and teach them their faith. While it is grossly unfair to blame all of the members of any religion for the criminal actions of a few, it may also be an exaggeration to consider Islam to be a religion as it appears to be more and more like a cult that controls the entire society of its followers. Islam predicates everything from a policy of warfare and national relations with other governments to rules of law affecting families and marriage arrangements. The transformation of the Muslim mindset begins within those mosques that have their own schools.

There may also be a valid comparison between how a person becomes a radical Islamic terrorist and how a dog becomes vicious. Many dog experts know that few canines are born vicious in spite of their breeds. Canine behavior is a reflection of the environment in which they live. Vicious dogs are created by the humans who own them whether by abuse or by training. These vicious dogs are used for protecting illegal drug operations, dog fighting or just plain irresponsible bragging rights. A vicious dog remains vicious as long as he remains in the environment that created the vicious nature in the first place. Removing a vicious dog from his hostile environment, show it a true semblance of love and affection and the vicious nature disappears. This affect was proven beyond doubt when the Pit Bulls removed from the home of Michael Vick, the NFL player convicted of running a dog fighting ring, were rehabilitated and later adopted out to loving families.

But regardless of the who and why and where and how, the facts regarding Muslims in America has been dramatically under-reported by the news media. Today there are approximately 8-million Muslims living in the USA and they attend 1200 mosques of which 80% were financed by the government of Saudi Arabia. The same country that gave us 16 of the 19 Muslim terrorists that highjacked four U.S. airliners on Sept. 11, 2001. The Saudi government itself sponsors terrorism by teaching school children to hate America. The same text books used in mosques in America are used in Saudi Arabia. If Islam is conducting a Jihad against America then we have already been invaded by their military forces and we have allowed them to move in to our neighborhoods.
