Domestic Terrorists, one and all. How we now define ourselves and our heritage.

According to a story in USA Today, there has been a dramatic rise in the number of local militias since Barack Hussein Obama, the Communist-mentored Democrat, got elected and more specifically since Obama started his push for gun control to disarm American citizens. And make no mistake about this, gun confiscation cannot begin until there is first - gun registration. The story gets most of it data from the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a group of left-wing zealots that frequently aligns itself with Communist propaganda. The story has been picked up by several other newspapers including the Kentucky Enquirer, in spite of the left-wing connection attributed to the source which proves the bias in our news media today..

The rhetoric and threat of domestic terrorist plots mirror the mood observed in the six months before the Oklahoma City bombing, the Southern Poverty Law Center says.

Radical anti-government "patriot" groups and militias, galvanized against gun control, will continue to grow even as the number of groups operating in the USAreached an all-time high in 2012, a report Tuesday by the Southern Poverty Law Center finds.

The center tracked 1,360 radical militias and anti-government groups in 2012, an eightfold increase over 2008, when it recorded 149 such groups. The explosive growth began four years ago, sparked by the election of President Obama and anger about the poor economy, the center says. That growth is likely to continue as the groups recruit more members with a pro-gun message, the center's senior fellow Mark Potok said.

John Rossomando of The Daily Caller has broken a story about how the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a source of information for the major media on such matters as the Arizona shooting rampage, is now placing its articles in a communist newspaper through a left-wing “news service.”
The paper is the People’s World, the official on-line publication of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The CPUSA is the old Moscow-line party which was funded by the Soviet Union and infiltrated the U.S. government with agents and spies. It was an official sponsor of the October 2, 2010, “One Nation Working Together” progressive rally in Washington.
In the absence of true American History being taught in our schools today, most people who rely solely on the liberal news media for most of their education, have no understanding that our nation was founded by colonists who resisted the tyranny from the mad King of England. These American Patriots were the first citizen militias. Today, the leftist-controlled Democratic Party labels these citizen militias as domestic terrorists. Mark Alexander wrote an eloquent piece about them three years ago on his web site the Patriot Post.

With those words, our Founders codified by signature their intent to establish liberty over tyranny at the great cost of their fortunes and, indeed, their lives. Since that July day in 1776, generations of Patriots have, likewise, committed by oath to Support and Defend the Constitution to which that Declaration gave rise.
As we approach the anniversary of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, the opening salvo of the American Revolution, I am acutely aware that today, too many Americans have grown complacent in comfort; too many are loath to defend the legacy of liberty bequeathed to us by the giants on whose shoulders we rest.

Consequently, we find ourselves in a situation not unlike our Founders, where the equivalent of kings and potentates in the executive, legislative and judicial branches of our central government have treaded willfully upon the most fundamental of rights endowed by our Creator, foremost among these being Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Years before signing the Declaration of Independence, Benjamin Franklin wrote, "They that can give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Today, many Americans either unwittingly or even willingly trade Essential Liberty for some measure of safety and comfort. (Note that Franklin, that most erudite of sages, also added the word "temporary" when referring to safety.)

Today, the battle cry focuses on the move to take away our citizens rights to self-defense and the means to resist government tyranny as the precursor to a totalitarian government pushes for absolute gun control. Days of Resistance sprang up across America a few weeks ago where law-abiding citizens gathered to protest the infringement of their Second Amendment rights. The battle cry heard is "Molon Labe" and, as the Patriot Depot explains, it is the Greek response that means, "Come and get them".

Two little words. With these two words, two concepts were verbalized that have lived for nearly two and a half Millennia. They signify and characterize both the heart of the Warrior, and the indomitable spirit of mankind. From the ancient Greek, they are the reply of the Spartan General-King Leonidas to Xerxes, the Persian Emperor who came with 600,000 of the fiercest fighting troops in the world to conquer and invade little Greece, then the center and birthplace of civilization as we know it.

When Xerxes offered to spare the lives of Leonidas, his 300 personal bodyguards and a handful of Thebans and others who volunteered to defend their country, if they would lay down their arms, Leonidas shouted these two words back.

Molon Labe! They mean, "Come and get them!" They live on today as the most notable quote in military history. And so began the classic example of courage and valor in its dismissal of overwhelming superiority of numbers, wherein the heart and spirit of brave men overcame insuperable odds. Today, there lies a plaque dedicated to these heroes all at the site. It reads:

"Go tell the Spartans, travelers passing by, that here, obedient to their laws we lie."

We have adopted this defiant utterance as a battle cry in our war against oppression because it says so clearly and simply towards those who would take our arms.

It signifies our determination to not strike the first blow, but also to not stand mute and allow our loved ones, and all that we believe in and stand for, to be trampled by men who would deprive us of our God-given or "natural" if you will, rights to suit their own ends.

                    In the framing era and in 2010, the Militia within the meaning of the second amendment is the everyman and outside the control of the Commander-in-Chief. Smear was then and is now a powerful weapon against freedom in America. As if Independence from public servants and love of freedom were somehow contentious.

                    Any sort of independent thought is an enemy of the State, and when shills smear independent thought, they cheat the sovereign electorate out of making their best informed decisions. Real Americans prefer the independence of thought. It becomes self-rule.
