Anatomy of an Islamic inspired murder in Ohio covered up by Dhimmi news media in Cincinnati.

Ohio: Son shoots father in church, screaming, "This is the will of Allah," media goes into coverup mode

It isn't clear why Reshad Riddle murdered his father. He has an extensive criminal record, which (perhaps significantly) includes slitting his girlfriend's throat. If he is a convert to Islam and this was a jihad attack, police aren't saying so, and probably won't. But in any case, the mainstream media is already in full coverup mode, trying to obscure the fact that Reshad Riddle yelled "This is the will of Allah" in reference to the murder.
Here is the story from CBS Cleveland. Note the headline that they give to the AP story, mentioning forthrightly that Riddle invoked Allah: "Police: Son Fatally Shoots Dad During Easter Service, Yells Killing Was ‘Will Of Allah,’" from the Associated Press via CBS Cleveland, April 1 (thanks to all who sent this in):
ASHTABULA, Ohio (AP) — Witnesses say the 25-year-old man accused of walking into an Ohio church and fatally shooting his father after an Easter service Sunday was yelling about God and Allah after the killing.
Police say Reshad Riddle walked into the Hiawatha Church of God in Christ in Ashtabula and killed his father, 52-year-old Richard Riddle, with a single shot from a handgun Sunday afternoon.
Associate Pastor Sean Adams told The (Ashtabula) Star Beacon newspaper that worshippers started screaming, ducking down and calling 911 on cellphones after the shooting.
“”It was terrifying,” Adams told the newspaper. “The children were screaming and people were dialing 911. We were afraid to breathe.”
Adams said Reshad Riddle then continued into the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was “the will of Allah. This is the will of God.”
Reshad Riddle was quickly subdued by officers, who arrived just moments after the shooting. They say he has been mostly cooperative....
Ashtabula Police Chief Robert Stell said the younger Riddle offered no motive for the shooting.
“Witnesses at the scene said the shooter entered church and made some references to Allah, but we are not sure if that was a motive or if there was a family problem,” Stell said. “There is no indication that the father and son had a bad relationship. Everyone thinks this was very surprising.”
Court records show Reshad Riddle has an extensive criminal record.
Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records show he was arrested and charged with two counts of felonious assault, kidnapping, abduction and tampering with evidence in 2006.
Records show that in 2007, Reshad Riddle was charged with felonious assault, and in 2009 he was charged with possession of drugs, tampering with evidence and possession of cocaine.
According to police reports, one of the felonious assault charges stemmed from an incident when Reshad Riddle allegedly attempted to cut his girlfriend’s throat. Capt. Joseph Cellitti said the young woman’s neck had been cut with a knife and she suffered bruising on her side and chest.
Church parishioners said Reshad Riddle was a member of the church as a child, but did not attend services regularly as an adult....
The same AP story at Yahoo bears this headline: "Witness: Man yelled about God after church killing." Saying that Riddle was yelling about "God" obscures the specific reference he made to "Allah." Fox, meanwhile, carries a different AP story that doesn't mention anything at all about Riddle's invoking "God" or "Allah." I'm sure Prince Alwaleed is pleased by that. Global News Desk doesn't find that little detail fit to print, either.

Reshad Riddle's murder may not be jihad. He may be a criminally insane lunatic whose reference to Allah was random. But this question should be investigated, not shoved under the rug. If he is a jihadi, he could have associates and teachers in Ohio who could be inciting other Muslims to violence against Infidels. Does anyone at Yahoo or Fox or Global News Desk care about that?

UPDATE: Sometime after I posted this blog entry,  FOX News web site changed the headline of their story to this:
Accused church gunman shouted about ‘the will of Allah’ before fatally shooting dad at Ohio church service, witnesses say

How the local news in Cincinnati, Ohio covered this story.

Ashtabula, Ohio is a small town about 60 miles away from Cleveland, Ohio and some 350 miles from Cincinnati. The original news story was posted on the CBS TV News web site in Cleveland at 8:35 AM today, some 5 hours before I am writing this. The headline reads: Police: Son Fatally Shoots Dad During Easter Service, Yells Killing Was ‘Will Of Allah’.  The killing took place at 1:15 PM yesterday afternoon which gave all of the news outlets in Cincinnati ample time to cover it.
Our primary newspaper in the Cincinnati, Ohio metro are is the Cincinnati Enquirer and a check of their web site shows no mention of this incident at all in the Ohio Crime section. They do carry a version from USA Today at the bottom of their web site in the National News section that says nothing about the killer saying anything. The Enquirer has a long time friendly relationship with CAIR, the Council on American-Muslim Relations and frequently publishes glowing stories about their good work. My guess would be they may be having trouble reaching a CAIR representative for advice on how to cover this. The Enquirer recently closed its printing plant in Cincinnati, fired 96 long time workers and moved the operation to Columbus, Ohio which means they close out their news coverage two hours earlier to compensate for the extra delivery time of the printed newspapers. But their web site is updated constantly. UPDATE: They did not mention the killer was Muslim nor did they mention ISLAM.

The local FOX TV station, WXIX Channel 19 in Newport, Kentucky ran the story yesterday at 2:20 PM with an update at 1:57 AM today but did not mention the killer saying anything after shooting his father.
UPDATE: They did not mention the killer was Muslim nor did they mention ISLAM.
WKRC-TV Channel 12, the CBS affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio, headline reads:
Man Yelled About God After Ohio Church Killing
Ran the AP version and made two references in the story: "Witnesses say the 25-year-old man accused of walking into an Ohio church and fatally shooting his father after an Easter service was yelling about God and Allah after the killing."
"Adams says Reshad Riddle then continued into the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was "the will of Allah. This is the will of God." " UPDATE: They did not mention the killer was Muslim nor did they mention ISLAM.

WCPO-TV Channel 9, the ABC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio, headline reads:
Witness: Man yelled about God after church killing
And mentions this in the story: "
Witnesses say Reshad Riddle was yelling about God and Allah after the killing.
Associate Pastor Sean Adams says Reshad Riddle then continued into the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was "the will of Allah. This is the will of God." UPDATE: They did not mention the killer was Muslim nor did they mention ISLAM.

WLWT-TV Channel 5, the NBC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio, headline reads:
Ohio man shoots father to death as Easter service ends
"Witnesses say the 25-year-old man accused of walking into an Ohio church and fatally shooting his father after an Easter service Sunday was yelling about God and Allah after the killing."
"Adams said Reshad Riddle then continued into the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was "the will of Allah. This is the will of God." " UPDATE: They did not mention the killer was Muslim nor did they mention ISLAM.
So the conclusion here is that news media that maintains the closest relations with Islamic groups went further to cover up the actual details of this story. As Robert Spencer said in his Jihad Watch post, "I'm sure Prince Alwaleed is pleased by that." Yes, Saudi Royal Family Prince Alwaleed, who owns about 10% of News Corp. the parent company to FOX is the largest majority stockholder after Rupert Murdock.
UPDATE: According to the web site Bare Naked Islam, Reshad Riddle, the shooter who yelled "the will of Allah" after he shot and killed his father outside a Christian church in Ashtabula, Ohio, was Muslim who converted to Islam while he was in prison. This seems to be the missing piece of information that explains why the biased news media covered it up.
