Defining the height of Hypocrisy in pictures.

Hypocrisy - comes in many shapes and sizes. It is almost always associated with liberals because the liberal mentality dictates a view that liberals are better than anyone else so what is OK for them is not OK for anyone else. If that isn't completely clear then take for example the latest example that has hit the news. The New York Times printed a full page ad from a group of people bashing Catholics. The ad is shown below. The fact that it is completely biased and insulting is not the point because it still represents someones freedom of expression as guaranteed by our First Amendment. What transpired afterward is what became hypocritical when a leading conservative woman in New York City named Pamela Geller (who happens to be a Jew) took offense at the anti-Catholic ad and prepared one of her own using the same anti-Catholic ad as a template and bashed the Muslims who follow Islam. That ad is also shown below. The New York Times refused to print Pamela Geller's ad even though it is actually the same ad they printed bashing Catholics with just the words Catholic changed to Muslim and the illustrations changed from the Pope to the blind sheik who was behind the World Trade Center bombing.
Now on the subject of Islam, while the NY Times may appear to be more afraid they will face the wrath of violence for writing anything bad about Islam than the wrath from their subscribers for telling the truth, there are a multitude of pictures that show the extreme hypocrisy of the followers of this group. How else can you explain how a group that combines religion with politics, government and law defines its religious aspects as "a religion of peace" when it openly advocates violence against anyone who criticizes it? All you need to do is a Google Image Search for the words "Muslim protests" and come up with hundreds of pictures like these.
Here is just a single page from a Google Image Search. There were over 4 dozen more pages, each with 20 more images:
Then again, while there is hypocrisy, there is also the Arabic term "Dhimmitude" which is defined in Wikipedia as:
Dhimmitude is a neologism first found in French denoting an attitude of concession, surrender and appeasement towards Islamic demands. It is derived by adding the productive suffix -tude to the Arabic language dhimmi, which literally means protected and refers to a non-Muslim subject of a sharia law state.
As Ali Sina wrote in FaithFreedom.org, March 14, 2010
"I have always maintained that “moderate Muslim” is an oxymoron. We have two kinds of Muslims: Terrorist Muslims and ignorant Muslims. The former are those who know Islam well and live by its dictums. The latter have no clue about their religion and have an idealized image of Islam that has no bases in facts."
And that may explain the true reason why the New York Times printed the anti-Catholic ad in the first place. They want to be protected.

  1. Good post Nelson. Yup, they are afraid of the head-choppers. Then again, the left is famous for their cowardliness.
