America has lost a great battle but the war goes on. Never, Never, Never, Give Up.

Patriots,

I am writing you today for two reasons.

First, I have heard from many Patriots who remain very disheartened about the election and direction of our country. I have also heard from many who appreciated the words of encouragement in Thursday's column, "We're Back in the FIGHT!," and have forwarded those to family and friends. That message is reprinted below so please forward them to others who need encouragement.

Second, I wanted to send you the most current county-by-county election map, which clearly reveals what state election maps don't, and what Obama and his Leftist cadres do NOT want you to contemplate. It shows where Leftist constituencies reside. (By the way, we have taken the Liberty to correct the colors -- red is a much more fitting color for the Leftist strongholds.)

The assault on Liberty we witnessed Tuesday, as was the case in 2008, was led primarily by those on urban "ObamaNation Plantations," those who depend on what Obama calls "redistributive justice" from the rest of us in order to survive. They account for almost 60 (SIXTY) percent of Obama's constituents, and Socialist Democrats are masters of co-opting (read: "buying") their allegiance and getting them to the polls. The good news is that about 10 million fewer Obama voters showed up in 2012, despite his billion-dollar campaign.

Words of Encouragement
Patriots, we were dealt an awful body blow on Tuesday, and the odds we face in our quest to restore Liberty and Rule of Law enshrined in our Declaration and Constitution may seem insurmountable. However, we can find strength and encouragement in the words from the most noble of Founding Patriots, George Washington.

In 1777, at a very dark moment amid a string of defeats in the first quest for Liberty -- and just before the fall of Philadelphia and the brutal Winter at Valley Forge, Washington wrote one of his generals: "We should never despair, our Situation before has been unpromising and has changed for the better, so I trust, it will again. If new difficulties arise, we must only put forth new Exertions and proportion our Efforts to the exigency of the times."

I also recall the words of Thomas Paine from his Revolutionary pamphlet, The American Crisis: "These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman."

When Samuel Adams signed the Declaration, he said, "We have this day restored the Sovereign to whom all men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and from the rising to the setting of the sun, let His kingdom come."

Indeed, God is Sovereign in the affairs of men.

As for the challenges we face, faithful Patriots, hold fast to this wisdom from James 1:2-4: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

(Some among our Patriot ranks are not Christians, but we know your devotion to Liberty is strong. However, everyone on your Patriot Post team here is a devoted Christian, and the bottom line -- you can bank on our faith, even if you don't share it.

Patriots, we have lost a battle -- but not the war. Hold your head high and redouble your courage and resolve. Remain steadfast in your devotion to Liberty and hold the line. As Paine wrote, "Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. ... I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death."

It has taken generations for our nation to get into the ditch we are in now. It will take more than a few election cycles to pull it out. But there has been a great awakening among Patriots, and our ranks have grown rapidly in recent years.

Our fight for the eternal cause of Liberty, as "endowed by our Creator," ends only with our last breath.

Some truth and some lies from the Libertarian Party.

  

Here is an email bulletin I just received from The Campaign for Liberty, the mouthpiece for the Libertarian Party. What the message fails to mention is that the victorious Republican candidates that are identified, were in fact Libertarian Party candidates that ran as conservative Republicans. This much I was aware of in my own Congressional winner, Thomas Massie. It is one thing to run on the Republican Party ticket with Libertarian leanings. It is something else to run against a Republican on a third party ticket under the Libertarian line. And reading through the election results today I noticed a few Republicans who had lost the election to a Democrat by less than the percentage of votes picked up by the Libertarian candidate that ran against them. Read that again: The total votes won by the victorious Democrat was less than the combined votes of the Republican and the Libertarian. Had the Libertarians supported the Republican instead of running against him the Republican would have won.

The one part of this email that is very true concerns the underhanded rule change done by the Republican establishment at the Republican Nation Convention. Instead of allowing the delegates won by Ron Paul in the primaries to enter his name into the balloting at the convention, they changed the rules after the convention began and that caused a mighty rift among a large number of conservatives. Ron Paul would not have won the nomination but it would have turned the convention into a lively debate had his name been put forward. Had Ron Paul's name been allowed at the RNC it may also have prevented the Libertarian Party from running third party candidates against Republicans. I do not support Ron Paul but I will say that the Campaign for Liberty sent out some sneaky fund raising appeals during the campaign and never mentioned his name or the name of the Libertarian Party, and that was also very underhanded and deceitful.

I've been in politics long enough to know making predictions is a dangerous game.

But standing on the floor of the Republican National Convention this past August, I'll admit I made one.

Completely shocked at what I had just witnessed, I muttered, "Romney just lost the election," under my breath.

The GOP establishment had just railroaded through new party rules designed to weaken the power of grassroots activists of every stripe - not to mention the thousands of young people who were just starting to become politically active after hearing Ron Paul's unwavering message of liberty.

The mood inside the building at that moment was hard to describe.

People were frustrated. They were confused and hurt. Many felt betrayed.

Just two years after these very Tea Party grassroots activists provided the energy that made the 2010 elections such a success, the question on everyone's lips was "Why?"

As news of the event trickled out to the grassroots all throughout the country, the situation only became worse.

With $16 TRILLION in national debt and sky-high unemployment with no end in sight, many folks I know were desperate and chose to look past what happened.

They would have voted for a ham sandwich for President if it was running against President Obama.

I certainly understand that feeling.

Like you, I want my kids to grow up in a free and prosperous America.

Like you, I'm worried about the future of our country.

But on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, 12 million fewer Americans showed up at the polls than voted in 2008.

I think that's incredible. And it's incredibly sad.

You see, I don't believe those numbers are because Americans don't care about what happens in Washington, D.C.

It's not because Americans don't understand the problems we face.

It's that fewer and fewer Americans are buying what the Big Government, big spending establishment of both parties is selling.

And there's no denying - with shifting political principles and positions, to go along with many anti-liberty stances - Mitt Romney was an incredibly tough sell for the GOP.

Going up against any incumbent, candidates who are tough sells virtually never win.

But now, you and I must be ready for the statists in Congress to double-down with even more assaults on our liberties in the coming months.

The good news is, our liberty movement is growing by leaps and bounds.

The next Congress will have more pro-liberty members than any in memory.

Congressman Justin Amash (R-MI) won a tough reelection race yesterday.

He'll be joined by Congressman-elect Kerry Bentivolio from Michigan.

Former Congressman Steve Stockman (R-TX) and Republican Senator-elect Ted Cruz (R-TX) both won their races handily.

Thomas Massie (R-KY) also emerged victorious in Kentucky.

All of these candidates and more answered their Campaign for Liberty Candidate Surveys in support for our issues.

The liberty movement's success yesterday - even despite poor results overall for the GOP - should prove that it's our movement that's ready to take the reins and lead.

There are many more victories from yesterday to tell you about, and I'll be sending another update with that information in the coming days.

But charting a new course for our country won't be easy.

And it won't be done in political party headquarters in Washington, D.C. or state capitals.

It will be done by tens of thousands of folks just like you from all over the country.

Campaign for Liberty is leading that charge. And the statists are on the run.

Five years ago, the Federal Reserve issue wasn't even mentioned in political circles.

But this summer, Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bill passed the U.S. House by a bipartisan three-fourths margin.

Thanks to the help of good folks like you, Campaign for Liberty has also successfully derailed Big Government schemes like "Cap and Tax," the so-called "Disclose" Act, and government takeovers of the Internet.

We're fighting to build a bipartisan coalition to stop intrusive government spying through the so-called "PATRIOT" Act and the indefinite detention of American citizens without trial.

And at the state level, Campaign for Liberty organizations are leading the fight to ban red light cameras, pass sound money legislation, stop "ObamaCare" implementation, and much more.

With your help, this will only be the beginning.

Each victory will lead to more.

As politicians learn that the price for betraying constitutional principles is political pain at the polls, you and I will see even more successes.

But first things first.

With the lame-duck Congress set to go into session next week, you and I have our work cut out for us.

The statists will be back in full force.

You and I will also have our hands full in the new Congress.

Media Research Center: "A Dreadful Media Campaign"

I was well aware of how the liberal news media contributed to Sen. John McCain's winning the 2008 Republican primaries. By giving this most liberal RINO the benefit of favorable publicity they helped the least acceptable Republican win the nomination to run against their favorite Democrat. But I didn't see this trend in 2012 and although I knew Mitt Romney was a weak choice for the Republicans, I saw no outward favoritism by the press for his campaign. But the following from L. Brent Bozell III points out how the liberal news media reversed their strategy and ignored Mitt Romney while they trashed all of his opponents, thus helping him come out ahead.

Dear Nelson,

Throughout the very long presidential election cycle, two trends remained consistent. The media lauded Obama no matter how horrendous his record, and they savaged Obama's Republican contenders as ridiculous pretenders.

From the start of the Republican race in 2011, every candidate who took the lead then took an unfair beating. They even slimed Sarah Palin in case she decided to run. Martin Bashir announced she was "vacuous, crass, and according to almost every biographer, vindictive too." Newsweek mocked Michele Bachmann on its cover, making her look pale, confused and nutty, with the headline "The Queen of Rage." Politico and other media outlets tried to pin sexual harassment claims on Herman Cain without naming, or even knowing the accusers.

The Washington Post killed trees to report in earth-shaking depth how the Rick Perry family had leased a hunting property where once, the N-word was painted on a rock, and never mind it was the Rick Perry family that covered it with white paint. Chris Matthews smeared Newt Gingrich, saying "He looks like a car bomber...He looks like he loves torturing." Matthews thought Newt was also polluting the civil discourse. "Ever since he appeared on the national scene, politics has been nastier, more feral, too often uglier." 

Then late in the cycle came the dark horse, Rick Santorum. He emerged and was slaughtered. Former New York Times editor Bill Keller sneered he "sounds like he's creeping up on a Christian version of Sharia law."

The only one who seemed to miss his own special episode of When Journalists Attack was Mitt Romney. But when he emerged as the nominee, all bets were off. The Washington Post published a 5,400-word "expose" documenting the shocking revelation that teenaged Romney just may have pinned a boy down and cut his hair. In 1965.

To be sure, The Washington Post did publish a historical piece on Obama's high school career, as well. Exactly a month after its Romney-Running-With-Scissors article, it devoted 5,500 words in the Sports section to an excerpt of David Maraniss's new biography with the headline "President Obama's Love for Basketball Can be Traced Back to His High School Team."

Despite the news media's infatuation with him, Obama rarely reciprocated. He reduced to a trickle the media's access by minimizing the number of White House press conferences. He hasn't called one since June. Instead, he hop-scotched from one flippantly unserious interview to another, from Leno to Letterman, from "The View" to "Access Hollywood." When Obama did consent to interviews with "news" shows, it was more of the same, with embarrassing fawn-a-thons from Charlie Rose at CBS and Brian Williams at NBC. 

Even the September 11 attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya – which resulted in the deaths of our ambassador and three others, and the subsequent, and ongoing serial dishonesty of this administration in its refusal to take a lick of blame for the scandalous lack of security, and the refusal to help the men in need -- has been brushed under the rug to help Obama. The only man hammered on that issue was Mitt Romney. 

Anyone who hoped any of the liberal debate moderators would bring accountability to Obama saw his hopes eviscerated. Anyone who hoped Steve Kroft would press Obama in his September 12 "60 Minutes" interview only saw Obama insisting "Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later."

This passage from Peter Baker of The New York Times says it all about Obama's press avoidance all the way to Election Day: "Nor has Mr. Obama faced many tough questions lately, like those about the response to the attack in Benghazi, Libya, since he generally does not take questions from the reporters who trail him everywhere. Instead, he sticks to generally friendlier broadcast interviews, sometimes giving seven minutes to a local television station or calling in to drive-time radio disc jockeys with nicknames like Roadkill." 

How can you read that and not think journalism is roadkill?

The results of the 2012 presidential election are in. The Chicago thug whipped the wimpy boy scout.

We now know who the real enemies of America are: The liberal news media and the intellectually-elite Republican establishment.

Mitt Romney never ran an effective political campaign. Whether it was his wimpish nature that portrayed him as a conscientious objector or the smothered victim of his own advisers, he came across as a person afraid to fight. Instead, he paraded across America like he was on a mission to convince everyone just how nice a person he was. Well. the good guys don't always finish first, especially in a dirty street fight. Strange as it may seem, for a Republican candidate trying so hard to portray himself as a squeaky clean person of good character, Romney offered nothing by way of comparison to show the true nature of his opponent's questionable character. Rather, instead, he paid compliments to his opponent by telling everyone that "Barack Obama is a good man" and what a confusing impression that made. And while America is on the brink of Socialism, and I say 'brink' only because the Marxist/Socialist Democrats haven't begun their 'Fundamental changes' yet, while the Democratic Party is overly influenced by a godless communist faction, none of those words were ever mentioned by any Republican leader during the campaign. To emphasize that point, here is a brief quote from Erick Erickson's Red State column this morning: "The quicker you accept he [Romney] ran a crappy campaign of tofu ideas the better off you will be. Reagan beat Carter by being drawing bright lines and simply explaining why his way was better. Romney never really tried that, then picked a Vice Presidential nominee who had done that and promptly taped his mouth shut." (emphasis mine) Not only did Mitt Romney and his intellectually elite advisers tape Paul Ryan's mouth shut, they never even tried to point out what the Democrats had done in full view of the public. How disastrous it would have been for the Democrats if the Republicans had highlighted that moment during the Democratic National Convention when the delegates tried three times to remove the name of God from their party platform. That is the true nature of what our country is up against.

Under the direction of the elite Republican establishment, Mitt Romney failed to go on the attack against the greatest threat to America in the history of our Constitutional Republic. He never even bothered to explain to the voters what the threat against America was. Instead of making it clear what Barack Hussein Obama's purpose was in destroying our country, Romney only complained about the current debt and unemployment but never said anything about the consequences or speculated about why or how we got there. One can only wonder what affect it would have made on the voters had Mitt Romney made a connection to those two informative documentaries about Barack Hussein Obama that appeared during the campaign. The wealth of information in the films 2016 Obama's America and Dreams From My Real Father both laid bare the sinister connections between Barack Hussein Obama and the Marxist/Socialist Communist enemies of America but because they were left outside of the campaign narrative they were ignored. And while Mitt Romney kept his head in the clouds every time the Democrats demanded he release his tax returns, Romney never raised the questions that every conservative was asking about the millions of dollars in legal fees that Obama was spending to keep his personal records sealed away from the public.

Compounding this dilemma, the elite Republican establishment, under the leadership and influence of Sen. Mitch McConnell, Speaker of the House John Boehner, Karl Rove and others, completely wasted the grand opportunity that the Tea Party revolt in 2010 gave them. With Republicans regaining the House majority and holding the chairmanships of all the House committees, not one of them bothered to target, or allow to be targeted, the top leadership of the Democratic Party. While I believe that Barack Hussein Obama was born in the USA, I am also convinced that he committed fraud when he presented his forged birth certificate on television to the American public, and based upon the forensic evidence of the examination of that forged document, that single point should have been investigated as vigorously as the Fast and Furious gun running scandal was. That investigation could have opened the door to many of the other connections Barack Hussein Obama had with left-wing groups. The next two years still have some hope that the House Republicans may change their strategy and reexamine their tactics. And such speculation leads to the final identity of who the real enemies of America are.

The liberal news media holds the power to investigate and inform the public about the corruption in government - or to keep it hidden from view. If there was ever any journalistic integrity there is none anymore. While the leftists that control the media have greater control to ignore the conservative news on the Internet, they would be hard pressed to ignore some House Committee investigations into the communist influences in the Democratic Party. They might try to denigrate and ridicule those efforts like they succeeded in characterizing the 'birthers' who questioned Obama's Kenyan connections, but a high-powered Congressional investigation into Obama's communist connections would be all too impossible to ignore. The only way this will happen is for the Republican Party to change its leadership. It has failed the grassroots base of the party, it has failed the American public and it has failed our country.

Where we are today, how we got here, and where do we go from here.

Four years ago America was struck by a calamity of such great proportions it was like being side-swiped on the expressway by an 18-wheeler. It was the perfect storm that came together and helped elect a virtually unknown, black Democrat to the highest office in the land. The day after election day 2008 Americans were punch drunk. Most of us didn't know what had hit them. Some of us did. It could be said that the ascent of Barack Hussein Obama was the result of the most perfectly organized publicity campaign in American history. We soon found out that many good white Christians had been convinced that to not vote for a black man would have made them feel like racists. It was obvious where some of his votes came from; because he was black he had picked up more than 95% of the votes from black people. He got a lot of young people to vote for him because he was cool and hip and admitted to doing drugs while in college. And then there were the votes that came from the left-wing fringe crowd, the one's who find fault with all the goodness in America, the one's that blame the Republicans for everything. And there was always the union votes and the 'give me more free stuff' votes.

The one thing that helped Barack Hussein Obama the most was the indisputable fact that almost all of the news media is controlled by liberals, and they knew exactly who Obama really was. Nobody ever said that liberals were stupid. They may be completely biased but not ignorant. Barack Hussein Obama was the substance of every pipe dream they ever had. And they helped most to project his manufactured image more than anything. They had to because no one of good conscience in America would have voted for a person who espoused so many anti-American ideals.

The liberal news media also had to run interference for Obama to counter the fragmented conservative groups who were beginning to discover the secrets of Obama's background. First off they needed to ensure that the Republican Party did not put up any strong candidates to run against him. During the course of the Republican primaries one candidate, who was seemingly the least popular, was Sen. John McCain, from Arizona. McCain was the most liberal of all the Republicans, a genuine RINO, a Republican In Name Only. So the news media, almost as if they were following a playbook, decided to give McCain some very much undeserved publicity. The favorable press McCain received boosted his standings in the primaries at the expense of several conservative alternatives. Of course, the news media knew all the unsavory details about John McCain and was simply holding this back to use against him after he won the nomination. Even after McCain picked Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate, and Governor Palin wowed the delegates at the Republican National Convention with her homespun conservative talk about lipstick on a Pitbull, many Republicans still couldn't stomach John McCain and opted to stay home on election day, just as the liberal news media had counted on. What else could be expected from Republicans who had listened to some of the inane comments from their presidential candidate during the campaign. Speaking as a true politician with no moral compass, McCain went so far as to say he 'would never say anything bad about a fellow member of the Senate'. After telling an audience that 'Obama is a good man' McCain practically suggested it was OK to vote for him.

From the beginning of Barack Hussein Obama's first campaign and continuing into his second campaign his political rhetoric was never questioned or explained by the media. Almost every word that came out of his mouth had a double meaning. When he promised to 'fundamentally change America' no one had any idea what he meant by it. Well, the liberals knew but they weren't talking, and the conservatives knew but without any channels through which to get out the truth, no one found out. When Obama said in his second campaign that he needed 'four more years to finish what he started' many people had no idea what it was that he wanted to finish. This time the conservatives knew a lot more about Obama than four years ago. We knew he had used a ghost writer to finish his autobiography. The same person who had helped launch his career in politics back in Chicago. A man named Bill Ayers who happened to be the co-founder of the pro-Communist terrorist group, the Weather Underground. And as if that was not as incredible as it seemed we then learned from that manufactured biography that Obama had spent 10 years in Hawaii being mentored by a person named Frank. And that Frank turned out to be a card carrying Communist named Frank Marshal Davis. From Hawaii, young Barack Hussein Obama went on to Occidental College, and thus began the mystery of his hidden background that has cost Mr. Obama several million dollars in legal fees to keep secret.

The last four years of the Obama administration has been a war on America that was plotted and executed by a Democrat-controlled Congress two years before the 2008 elections. Almost as if the Democrats had conceived of a long term game plan to turn America upside down, Barack Hussein Obama, then an unknown State Senator from Illinois with no outstanding voting record, was given the opportunity to make a keynote speech at the 2004 Democrat National Convention. Then, after a blistering campaign by the leftist news media to undermine Republican president George W. Bush, the Democrats won control of both houses of Congress in the 2006 mid-term elections and commenced the next stage of their plan, cripple the U.S. economy. Working though the banking committees in the House and Senate, Sen. Chris Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank, both Democrats, made changes to the rules that governed the way banks would issue mortgages. They now demanded that banks issue mortgages to people who could not afford them. No one in their right mind could ever imagine that forcing banks to lend money to people who couldn't pay it back was an act of stupidity or negligence. It was a very subtle plan to cause massive home foreclosures and the ripple down effect to bankrupt the banking institutions. Banks cover their loans by grouping them into notes called sub-prime loans and insure them through FANNIE MAY and FREDDIE MACK the Federal National Mortgage agencies. The result was quickly felt and the stock market almost collapsed a year later along with massive unemployment. After Obama was elected he was given a mandate to fix the economy along with a blank check. He borrowed trillions of dollars from China and began to repay the sources of his Democratic backers. Billions were squandered in Green Energy enterprises owned by Obama supporters who had contributed to his campaigns. After accepting the loans from the government these businesses went bankrupt. The auto industry also became a victim of the downfall of the economy and General Motors was on the verge of declaring bankruptcy when Barack Hussein Obama stepped in and took control of the company. After giving GM billions in loans, Obama replaced the Chairman of the Board with one of his cronies, placed two member of the United Auto Workers on the Board of Directors and handed over 1/3 of GM's stock to the Auto Workers union.

Acting like a kid in a candy store Obama went hog wild grabbing power in the U.S. government. With no authorization from Congress or the Constitution, Obama created three dozen separate departments within his administration run by people he alone appointed and called them Czars. He was following his campaign pledge to 'fundamentally transform America' into a Socialist state.

So today is the day every conservative has been waiting for, for the last four years. Time for payback. Time to correct the error made in 2008. Time to take back America. The liberal news media almost had succeeded in a repeat of 2008 by helping decide who the Republican candidate for president would be. Joined by a leftist community of entertainers, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney has been the subject of ridicule and bias and insult for the entire presidential campaign. Liberal news commentators have salivated over Barack Hussein Obama's reelection efforts to the effect that some of them have gone ballistic at the mere mention of Mitt Romney's name on television.

But an unexpected thing has happened in this 2012 campaign. Due to a remarkable decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, private organizations were allowed to form to raise unlimited amounts of money to spend for and against the candidates and they certainly have. The TEA Party that was so prominent in the 2010 mid-term elections with massive outdoor demonstrations came back with a well organized television campaign and a nationwide bus tour. Several other grass root organizations sprung up and have blistered the television airwaves with a non-stop campaign. As a result, the national polls are showing this race for the presidency almost tied. And the more realistic polls, the one's that do not give over-sampling to Democrats, are showing Mitt Romney leading by a sizable margin.

What happens tomorrow? There is always the fear that the Democrats could steal the election away from Mitt Romney. There have been widespread cases of voter fraud reported both with ACORN, absentee ballots and dead people voting - all due to the Democrats opposition to voter I.D. laws. Voting machines have been found to be rigged. The Democrats have made it difficult to impossible for our soldiers in the Armed Forces overseas to participate in the vote. The hurricane disaster in the northeast has caused many people to be unable to vote in the normal way; N.J. said they could vote by email and N.Y. said they could vote in any precinct. And then, Barack Hussein Obama and his chief White House consultant Valerie Jarrett have promised revenge on everyone who opposed him. Should the criminal efforts to reelect Obama fail, he will still have two months to remain in office and it is expected that he will commence a reign of terror against America. And, God forbid, should Obama get reelected, he will get his opportunity to finish the job he started and fundamentally transform America. And in the next four years, the America we know today, will no longer exist. Barack Hussein Obama with change the makeup of the U.S. Supreme Court and with a liberal majority in the highest court in the land he will challenge every right that every citizen now enjoys today.

Looking back at the last two years since the TEA Party enabled the Republicans to take back the House of Representatives, it may prove to be a grave mistake that the majority Republicans decided not to target Barack Hussein Obama personally with their investigative sub-committees. Had they did so he would have been so distracted with defending his fraudulent conduct he would have no time to campaign. This mistake was the result of still having too many establishment Republicans in senior positions in the party. Too much of the clubhouse mentality like John McCain who refused to attack a fellow member of the Senate.

What else should we worry about if Obama wins? First off is, plan for a civil war. When Obama successfully challenges the 2nd Amendment and boosts the U.N. gun ban there will be millions of gun owns who won't take kindly to that knock on the door when they come to disarm you. Plan for shortages in food because interstate commerce is still controlled by the government and it is not to extreme to think that entire communities could become victims of shortages.

And pray more today than ever before so that none of this happens. As St. Augustine said: "Work, as if everything depended on you. Pray, as if everything depended on God." Conservatives have worked this election to the bone, emptied their savings, and now it is time to pray.

236 years ago this document was addressed to the King of England as an indictment against his rule over the colonists but today it is very much applicable to the despotic Democrat who occupies The White House, Barack Hussein Obama and his army of bureaucrats, welfare recipients and union supporters.

Throughout the current political campaign these past few years two recurring elements have constantly appeared, over and over again. Unions mobilizing their forces to support Democrats in exchange for Democrats helping the unions. Welfare recipients clamoring for more free stuff, in exchange for Democrats coddling them with free cell phones, health care, food, clothing and housing. And, as if to put a point on all of these things, we have a hurricane disaster on the East Coast that seems to be highlighting everything wrong with the government. Just scanning through the news stories this morning and I came across a sampling that tell a lot about the problems in our country today. That led me to think of the title for this commentary: What do you call Democrats, Unions and Disasters. They mix so well together you can't tell them apart. Lets call them DUDs for short.

Generators, supplies sit unused after New York City marathon canceled

The city left more than a dozen generators desperately needed by cold and hungry New Yorkers who lost their homes to Hurricane Sandy still stranded in Central Park Sunday.

And that’s not all — stashed near the finish line of the canceled marathon were 20 heaters, tens of thousands of Mylar “space” blankets, jackets, 106 crates of apples and peanuts, at least 14 pallets of bottled water and 22 five-gallon jugs of water.

This while people who lost their homes in the Rockaways, Coney Island and Staten Island were freezing and going hungry. Michael Murphy, of Staten Island, who had no power and no heat, said yesterday, “We needed 100 percent of the resources here.”

Union Red Tape in N.J. Causes Alabama Recovery Crew to Head Home

Despite devastation and millions of power outages in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, a utility crew from Alabama said it has been unable to help a ravaged New Jersey shore town due to a union dispute.

Officials from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers presented Alabama-based Decatur Utilities with documents that “required our folks to affiliate with the union,” Ray Hardin, general manager of Decatur, told FOX Business on Friday. “That was something that we could not agree to. It was our understanding and still is that it was a requirement for us to work in that area.”

Hardin said most of his six-man, four-vehicle crew was stuck in Virginia on Thursday instead of helping the N.J. shore town of Seaside Heights recover due to the bureaucratic tie-up. Eventually his crew ended up heading back home to Alabama because of the disagreement.

In response to the horrible abandonment of dying Americans in Benghazi, Defense Secretary Panetta said: “(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place.”

To fully understand the doctrinal change, one has to understand President Obama. He has a dearth of understanding of our military and military matters. We hear he is uncomfortable in the presence of ranking military and seldom meets with them. He is not a person who can make decisions, and he takes an extraordinary amount of time to do so, leading to such unseemly labels for a commander in chief as “ditherer in chief.”

And Obama’s terror of risk contributed to the massacre of Americans by terrorists in Benghazi. We hear that the president did not even convene the Counterterrorism Security Group while the Benghazi terrorist massacre was visually and verbally available in real time. That is like ignoring FEMA during Hurricane Sandy. But once you bring in a group labeled anti-terrorist, you have to acknowledge terror exists, something the president is loath to do.

Will Tuesday be the End of Obama's Final War on America or the Beginning of his Revenge?

Barack Hussein Obama, in a moment of desperation, took the gloves off the other day when he told his supporters at a rally in Springfield, Ohio that "Voting is the best REVENGE". That comment was probably suggested by an earlier thought expressed by his White House aid Valerie Jarrett who said that "a big part of that (2nd term) agenda is to punish everyone who opposed them". What Mr. Obama failed to realize is that that is the exact same reason why so many Republicans will be turning out on Tuesday to end his war on America. If Obama studied history instead of law while in college he might have recalled the famous words of Japanese Admiral Yamamoto after his attack on Pearl Harbor, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

Like the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, Barack Hussein Obama sneaked upon the American political scene and beguiled a nation with his covert intentions, all with the aid of saboteurs spread across the news media who covered his tracks. For the past four years Barack Hussein Obama and a cabal of leftist Democrats have been waging a war on America since the first day he took office. He continued to benefit from the economic catastrophe planned and executed by his fellow Democrats, Senator Chris Dodd and Rep. Barney Frank, all the while blaming the previous Republican administration that was controlled by a Democrat majority in both houses of Congress. Using the banking and housing crisis to his advantage he borrowed trillions of dollars from China and squandered the resources on enterprises owned by his political supporters while at the same time twice causing the lowering of the credit rating of our nation. He plotted the takeover of America's health industry with fellow Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, crafting a Socialist plan filled with hidden taxes that were purposely scheduled to fall in place after the next election at the expense of the elderly and the middle class. When he couldn't get his way he declared Congress to be an inconvenience so he wrote dozens of Executive Orders creating new laws without any Constitutional authority. And he went on a world tour apologizing to our enemies and embarrassing every American by bowing before the leaders of the world thus destroying the prestige of the United States. And now he speaks of seeking revenge upon those who oppose him.

I'll give you an example of revenge that would give every liberal in America nightmares: Treason Trials. Think about Nuremberg. The Nuremberg Trials were a series of military tribunals, held by the Allied forces after World War II, most notable for the prosecution of prominent members of the political, military, and economic leadership of the Socialist government of Nazi Germany. The trials were held appropriately in the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg, Germany, in 1945. Those convicted of war crimes were hanged. And here at home giving Aid and Comfort to the Enemy is considered Treason, helping the enemy to kill American soldiers with a restrictive Rules of Engagement is Treason, and that includes the U.S. Ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya, as well. How's that for a retirement plan for Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Clinton. And in spite of all his efforts to trash the U.S. Constitution, the crime of Treason is the only crime specifically mentioned in that great blueprint for our Republic. 

No political party in the history of American politics has tried so hard as the Democrats have to destroy every great thing about our country. At their national convention they almost succeeded in removing the name of God from their party platform and by the sound of the three voice votes that were taken, it appears that the majority of the delegates were still in favor of doing it when the platform chairman ruled that God's Name could remain. One can only hope and pray that the sarcasm once told about German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche could come true today and be applied to those godless Democrats when it was joked that "Nietzsche said God is dead. God then said Nietzsche is dead." Yes, revenge is a sweet and bitter thing to behold especially when dealt out by the just and righteous.

Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic Party and their multitude of liberal supporters in the news media and entertainment industry have used every dirty trick to divide our nation into a racist class war. They have pitted the poor against the wealthy. Those that earn wages against those that create jobs. They have tried to convince evangelical Christians not to vote for Mitt Romney because he is a Mormon. A religion that does not believe in everything Christians believe in. So what if they don't? Jews are good people, too, and they don't believe in everything that Christians believe in. But they all believe in the same God who gave us the Ten Commandments. How different is this from Barack Hussein Obama, himself a one-time Muslim, who told us we must respect Islam, a religion that preaches death and torture for Christians and Jews. And as far as Barack Hussein Obama's make-believe Christian faith goes, Pastor Joseph Lowery, a civil rights movement hero who delivered the benediction at President Obama’s inauguration, reportedly said that he is shocked that any black Americans would stay home with Obama on the ballot and suggested that all or most white people would go to hell if they did not vote for him. A similar racist statement that other black Democrats have expressed.

Union supporters of Obama have become the beneficiaries of special treatment from him at the expense of taxpayers and non-union workers. How about Obama's illegal confiscation of General Motors, touted by the Obama campaign as the salvation of the motor industry, giving the United Auto Workers Union 1/3 of the company ownership and two union reps on the Board of Directors while he cancelled the pension plans of the non-union workers at GM's parts supplier Delphi Automotive. Not much has been said about the thousands of exemption waivers to Obama's socialized medicine plan that Obama's union backers have asked for and received from him. The most obvious question is that if Obamacare is so good why have so many of his supporters asked to be exempted from it?  And lets not forget the words from Obama's mouth about how we should redistribute the wealth, quoted right from the writings of Karl Marx, the father of communism.

Valerie Jarrett has been described as the "brains" in The White House behind Barack Hussein Obama. And considering the 2.6 GPA average that young Barry received during his drug-filled days at Columbia University, he can probably use all the brains he can get. Valerie Bowman Jarrett (born November 14, 1956) is a Senior Adviser to the President of the United States and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs in the Obama administration. And on the subject of the revenge that the Democrats have planned for America, here is a little quote from the Wall Street Insider: 

"A rep from  Valerie Jarrett's office was in today. She gave us a finish line pep talk and then afterwards, heard her saying how Jarrett is very excited about a 2nd term agenda and a big part of that agenda is to punish everyone who opposed them during the first term and the campaign."

"The part that really stuck out to me was when I overheard the rep say that Jarrett told them, “After we win this election, it’s our turn.  Payback time.  Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay.  Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”  (Presumably for the Supreme Court, emphasis mine)  She was talking directly to about three of them.  Sr. staff.  And she wasn’t trying to be quiet about it at all.  And they were all listening and shaking their heads and smiling while she said it.  Pretty creepy."

Can you imagine what these godless, leftist Democrats could do if they managed to replace two more Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court? Two of the conservative Justices are already over 70 years of age and could easily be expected to retire in the next four years. Antonin Scalia is 76 years old and Anthony Kennedy, who often votes conservative, is 75 years old. That would certainly become the legal channel in which Barack Hussein Obama would seek revenge against all those who still cling to their guns and their bibles. Imagine America without our Bill of Rights. Imagine Obama's America in 2016. Imagine another civil war in America. The Obama government has already made plans for it. Obama has insisted and gotten laws passed giving him the authority to arrest and detain without trial any American citizen. They have built the concentration camps which they call Internment Centers. They have advertised the jobs there on the GoArmy web site. They have purchased millions of rounds of hollow-point ammunition to be used by Homeland Security, ammunition that is banned by the Geneva Convention. They have declared God-fearing Christians as domestic terrorists. The election on Tuesday is all about the future of our Republic, and the outcome will be either War or Peace or Revenge. God help us if Obama wins and that comes true.

America in her Falling Down moment, has become surreal in the extreme. Whatever you do, vote next Tuesday or it’s done. Period.

The Telegraph – Atlantic City’s venerable old boardwalk smashed to pieces and deposited inland in tangled piles of lumber

Do you recognize your country anymore? The strong, moral, baseball, apple pie and red, white and blue home of the free, has become a debauched, freeloading, violent cesspool and Obama is just itching to finish what he started. If he is reelected next week, he’ll get his wish. Want to see what America looks like if you bring it all down? If he is reelected, you will get your chance and you will wish you never had. It will most likely be your dying wish. An American apocalypse that was entirely avoidable. But you can take comfort in this… we’re running marathons in the midst of death. Resident Evil is in the White House and he is laughing.

Earlier this week, I heard from clients back East. It was unreal. 40 foot boats across tracks, power outages, no gas, no food. Roving wolf packs of teenagers, looting, murder, death, violence… It’s like a scene out of some post-American episode. And it may well be. Cops stood by as stores were looted; people are boarding themselves in to survive the thugs and Bloomberg is doing the vital work of organizing the New York Marathon. Because you wouldn’t want to upset the elite, don’t ya know. People can jog through Staten Island and enjoy the view of destruction, starvation and death while they get their running groove on. My God… those human and economic resources used for this ‘let them eat cake’ moment could have brought the power back on somewhere, brought water to those thirsty, fed those dumpster diving for a morsel. Bloomberg, you are a jackwagon of epic proportions. New York, if you reelect this insane scumbag, you deserve him. He’s soooo busy making sure there are three people per car, mobilizing the military and arranging voting in military vehicles, people seem to not notice that that is perilously close to martial law. If you reelect Obama, you will see this everywhere and Americans WILL fight back. It’ll make the Civil War look like a frigging cake walk.

Meanwhile, Hilda Solis is celebrating the raised unemployment rate of 7.9% (which is a joke – the rate is 14.7% and that is not real either – it’s more like 25%), by handing out candy to the media. Un-freaking-believable.

And Obama who ‘never leaves a man behind,’ unless of course it is your ambassador in Libya, a techie and two SEALs, is sticking to his word. He’s leaving whole cities behind to rot in New Jersey and New York. The media is not covering the ravaged countryside after Sandy or the coverup in Benghazi. Obama’s Pravda is in full fake news mode. The Red Cross doesn’t bother showing up, but can pay their CEO almost 1 million a year in pay and bennies. People come all the way across the country to help, but are turned away because they are not freaking union. Grrrr!!!! If there was justice, all these assholes would go to prison and/or be executed. Get food, ammo, guns, water and gold/silver. Giddy up folks – your lives depend on it.

Obama’s shutting down two-thirds of our power plants, mandating insurance no one can afford and will not help those who need it, taxing us out of existence and raising food and gas prices that will bring on more starvation and unemployment. Damning us all to a hell on Earth. Last call is Tuesday America – you damn well better show up.

I told my husband, if we have to crawl through broken glass and boiling oil, we will vote for Romney/Ryan first thing Tuesday morning. Please vote. Please get to the polls and make sure your vote turns up as you intended. Watch the polls and the pollsters. Fight – we need each and every one of you.

Obama and the media keeps telling us everything is okay even though we can see plainly it is not. The lies and corruption are never ending and I fear many will fall for the deceiver’s clarion call. He’s putting on a show to mesmerize America into walking off the cliff. Even without bread, it would seem we must have circuses.

Playing games with numbers. From political polls to unemployment, your opinion is being swayed.

Did you all hear about the great news when the unemployment numbers went below 8% for the first time since Barack Hussein Obama conned his way into The White House? Of course you did. Every talking head in the leftist news media made sure of it. Did you also hear that when those numbers were being compiled by the Labor Dept. that the state of California was delayed in submitting their reports and their totals were not counted? Of course not! It got only a very brief mention on Fox News. This is how people play games with numbers when they want to hide something that makes them look bad.

Unemployment totals released by the government do not reflect the total number of people who are unemployed. To explain that seemingly contradictory statement it is necessary to look at what changes the government has made over the last 20 years in the way the unemployment is counted. By simply changing the rules and no longer counting the number of people who have run out of unemployment benefits these people are considered to have given up looking for work so they're not considered to be "unemployed". Neat, huh?

When a person runs out of unemployment benefits they qualify for welfare and food stamps. If the totals of people who are on welfare are counted in the unemployment equation the numbers jump dramatically. Estimates are that combining all the figures brings the totals of people who are not working to over 20%.

Polls are often used to discourage opposition candidates voters into staying home. This is accomplished by giving undue weight to one political party or the other. Since liberal Democrats control most of the opinion making businesses in the country the poll takers are automatically comprised by their own liberal bias. More than half of the polls commissioned today are conducted by news media consortium's such as the NY Times/USA poll or the ABC News/Washington Post, etc. The polls are biased in favor of Democrats because they over-sample Democratic voters. In other words they ask more Democrats than Republicans who they're going to vote for and it is not done by accident. The poll takers also ask loaded questions meant to confuse some people. There is an interesting web site called UnSkewed Polls that has some different projections on the outcome of Tuesday's election. They show Mitt Romney beating Barack Hussein Obama by at least 6%. No doubt such a projection would be very discouraging to Democrats and likely to make many stay home, especially those living in the storm-ravished Northeast which are Democratic strongholds.

One thing most people will agree on is that Barack Hussein Obama has done a wonderful job in reinvigorating the Republican Party. Local governments are projecting upwards of 75% voter turnout on election day and I strongly believe that most of them won't be Democrats. If only we can elect a strong majority in both houses of Congress will be be able to turn this Obama mess around. I predict that next Tuesday will see the greatest number of Republicans show up to vote than ever before. The numbers will be historic.

Come next Wednesday, someone over at the Democratic Party headquarters will be reminded of the fateful words of Japanese Admiral Yamamoto's famous quote after the sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, saying the attacks would only serve to "... awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve". Yeah, Obama, that will be us.
