Ode to The Animal Farm: Democrats prove when the Pigs rule, not all animals are equal.

When George Orwell penned the Animal Farm in 1945, the mighty Communist empire of the Soviet Union, which had been an ally of the Democratic administration during WWII, was expanding its global reach to become a threat to world peace. Orwell's Animal Farm became an allegory of what life under Communism would be like. The humans who had run the once peaceful farm could easily have been Republicans who were quickly replaced with an overnight revolution organized by a gang of pigs. The pigs, with all their cunning intelligence, had used the rest of the animals to help overthrow the humans in their quest for power. Then suddenly things changed. One morning a new sign appeared, boldly painted on the side of the barn: "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." Now the allegory comes to fruition. The labor unions who had mobilized their captive membership to help a communist-mentored Democrat named Barack Hussein Obama win an election and take over a peaceful, once-Christian country, have been demoted from the elite privileged class. They have been told they are no longer equal to the other animals on the farm.

Administration rejects labor's request for ObamaCare subsidies

The Obama administration on Friday denied a request from labor unions to have their healthcare plans receive tax subsidies under ObamaCare.

A White House official said the Treasury Department has determined that the healthcare plans used by many union members — known as multi-employer or Taft-Hartley plans — cannot be made eligible for subsidies that are intended to help uninsured people afford coverage.

Woe be the plight of the common working class unions. They had faithfully followed their Marxist leaders and supported the Democratic Party with mindless obedience. They had poured into the townhall meetings that had been organized to discuss and debate the threat of Socialized Medicine that had been written behind closed doors and disrupted them. They had marched in parades along side the politicians they helped get elected and had surely hoped that when those politicians had begun to hand out subsidies to other groups to pay for the costs of ObamaCare they would get their share. When the politicians announced they would subsidize themselves and their staff the unions were encouraged. So they asked their Democratic Party leaders to do the same for them.

Too bad that they had never read the book or they would have learned their fate beforehand. They had been used and now they were being discarded. Washington, D.C. had become the real Animal Farm.

Minor postscript: Sometimes when animals are used to illustrate an allegory it creates a bit of confusion when the parable is injected into the real world. Case in point, the Pigs. Within the current communist oriented Democratic Party gang ruling our country their is also a decidedly influential group representing the pro-Islamic terrorist group The Muslim Brotherhood. It was reported yesterday that a few years ago when the FBI was tracking the movements of a high-ranking Muslim terrorist named Anwar al-Awlaki they followed him to the front door of The Pentagon where he had been invited to attend a meeting and luncheon with officials from the Defense Dept. Now Muslims, we are told, have a fanatical repulsion to all things related to pigs but at this luncheon the invitation, a copy of which had been obtained by FOX News, stated, ham and bacon were being served: 

Fox News was the first news organization to report that the cleric was invited to, and attended,  a luncheon at the Defense Department five months after the 9/11 attacks. More than 70 people were copied on the invitation, including the Department’s senior lawyers from the Office of General Counsel.

The invitation, obtained by Fox through the Freedom of Information Act, showed the proposed menu at an executive dining room included smoked ham and bacon sandwiches.

So what do we gather from all of this? A devout Muslim attending a luncheon that served ham and bacon? If we are to believe what the Council on American-Islamic Relations says, just being in the same room with pork products would drive all Muslims into a homicidal rage. Muslims also hate Jews as much as they hate pigs but Hillary Clinton's special assistant, Huma Abedin, another devout Muslim who coincidentally has connections to The Muslim Brotherhood is married to a Jew named Anthony Weiner, a perverted Democratic politician. And that little indiscretion is a big No, No in Islamic Sharia Law. Most definitely, "some are more equal than others".

Capitol Hill Republicans are trying to stop the Obama administration from offering labor unions a sweetheart deal on ObamaCare, as the White House tries to quell a simmering rebellion from Big Labor over the health care law.

President Obama and White House officials reportedly have called union leaders to try and persuade them to tone down their complaints, pledging an accommodation. The AFL-CIO, though, on Wednesday approved a resolution anyway calling the law "highly disruptive" to union plans.

But reports have surfaced on a plan that would give union workers -- and only union workers -- subsidies to help pay for health insurance even if they're covered through their job. The purported "carve-out" could soothe the simmering discontent within Big Labor. The loyal Democratic supporters and early champions of ObamaCare say they have been slighted by the act’s final regulations, which they say is pushing some employees into part-time work and threatens their health insurance plans.

Major change coming to Obamacare: Anyone who voted for or supported BO will receive an exemption.

Obamacare, officially known as the Affordable Care Act, was written with explicit language that it was to include everyone. No exceptions. Even members of Congress and their staff were mandated to follow the same rules as every other American citizen. This was apparently done to appease the Republicans and get their support for the bill. Then just before the 2012 elections several unions who had endorsed and campaigned for Barack Hussein Obama began to receive exemptions from the mandatory requirements. Then it was disclosed that members of Congress were concerned that their highly paid staff members would be persuaded to leave their cushy jobs if they had to pay for their own health insurance, like everyone else. So our Great Leader issued a decree that made them exempt and the government would continue to provide their insurance. Now we read that 40,000 union members have quit the AFL-CIO because they don't like the idea of having to pay for their health insurance.

40,000 Longshoreman Quit AFL-CIO Blaming ObamaCare 

In what is being reported as a surprise move, the 40,000 members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) announced that they have formally ended their association with the AFL-CIO, one of the nation’s largest private sector unions. The Longshoremen citied Obamacare and immigration reform as two important causes of their disaffiliation.

In an August 29 letter to AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, ILWU President  Robert McEllrath cited quite a list of grievances as reasons for the
disillusion of their affiliation, but prominent among them was the
AFL-CIO’s support of ObamaCare.

“We feel the Federation has done a great disservice to the labor movement and all working people by going along to get along,” McEllrath wrote in the letter to Trumka.

The ILWU President made it clear they are for a single-payer, nationalized healthcare policy and are upset with the AFL-CIO for going along with Obama on the confiscatory tax on their “Cadillac” healthcare plan.

What isn't a surprise is that almost immediately after this announcement, some union leaders asked Obama to also exclude them from the mandatory coverage requirement. And it looks like they will get it. So what it all comes to is that the only people who will be forced to buy health insurance will be people who didn't support or vote for Obama. In other words, Obamacare is really just a tax on Republicans.

In order to get Obamacare passed through Congress, then Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi famously remarked, "You have to pass the bill before you can see what's in it." But even when the bill was being written it had parts added for the expressed purpose of persuading certain groups from opposing it. Like the powerful NRA gun lobby. Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid inserted a clause in ACA that reversed a previous order to have family Physicians inquire if their patients had a gun in their house. Following the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, Obama issued his 23 Executive Orders to formulate Gun Control and one of those orders retracted the clause in Obamacare that Harry Reid inserted and once again, family doctors will be asking their patients if they own a gun. And since all medical records will be electronically stored and accessed by the government, anyone who admits they have a gun will be easily identified.

The true nature of Barack Hussein Obama's government is becoming clearer and clearer every day. He admits he doesn't need Congress to pass his laws, he can issue them by Executive Order. The Constitution is just an inconvenient piece of paper to him. He ignores and changes written laws to please himself and his friends and his supporters by issuing his Royal Decrees and Exemptions. It would not be surprising to learn he has a plan to remain in office after the end of his present term. And yes, there is a word for that, its called Dictator.

Meanwhile, the rest of the public, those lucky to just have a job, have been facing changes in their own healthcare coverage by their employers. Loopholes in the Affordable Care Act exempt employers from certain requirements for their part-time workers who work less than 30 hours a week. So they have been cutting the hours of full-time workers to make them part-time workers. Other companies are dropping spouses from their company health care plans. Bloomberg reported that two of America's largest employers, General Electric and IBM announced they are cancelling healthcare plans for retirees. 

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin, former Governor of Alaska and Vice-Presidential candidate in 2008, recently called for Congress to "bomb Obamacare instead of Syria". Sarah Palin was roundly criticized in 2009 for attacking Obamacare on her Facebook page for the creation of "death panels", a term that incensed almost every journalist and Democrat.

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion.

Now, three years later, everyone is acknowledging those "death panels" are real. As this article in The Hill reported, even prominent Democrats are admitting that it is true, the "death panels",  an unelected group, officially called the Independent Payment Advisory Board, who will decide who get approved treatments and who will be denied, does exist. The technical issue that existed three years ago used to deny the truth was that this board was not a part of the legislation that created Obamacare, it had been added to another bill that passed months before.

ObamaCare ‘death panel’ faces growing opposition from Democrats

ObamaCare’s cost-cutting board — memorably called a “death panel” by Sarah Palin — is facing growing opposition from Democrats who say it will harm people on Medicare.

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean drew attention to the board designed to limit Medicare cost growth when he called for its repeal in an op-ed late last month.

Dean was quickly criticized by supporters of the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), who noted his ties to the healthcare industry as an adviser to a major D.C. lobbying firm.

But the former Vermont governor is not the only Democrat looking to kill the panel.

A wave of vulnerable Democrats over the past three months has signed on to bills repealing the board’s powers, including Sen. Mark Pryor (Ark.) and Reps. Ron Barber (Ariz.), Ann Kirkpatrick (Ariz.), Kyrsten Sinema (Ariz.) and Elizabeth Esty (Conn.).

All five are considered vulnerable in next year’s election, highlighting the stakes and the political angst surrounding the healthcare measure.

Sarah Palin was right in 2009 and is right again in 2013, and so was every other conservative who criticized this law. Obamacare is a disaster and it is not good for our nation's health or for the health of our citizens. It may even have been planned that way on purpose from the beginning.

Reid defends Obamacare exemption for Congress: ‘That’s what the law says’

The Office of Personnel Management announced in August that it plans to provide a subsidy of about 75 percent of the cost for the healthcare of members and staff.

The Obamacare fix for lawmakers and staff was made because the Affordable Care Act includes an amendment from a Republican senator that changes how the government currently covers most of the cost of health-care premiums for members and their staffers.

The new law mandates that members and staff must enter into exchanges or be covered by insurance “created” by law.

Lawmakers worried about a potential “brain drain” — Capitol Hill staffers leaving work because of the increased costs of health care — and therefore wanted the fix.

We must NEVER FORGET what happened on 9-11-2001

The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda upon the United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.

Four passenger airliners were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists so they could be flown into buildings in suicide attacks. Two of those planes, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175, were crashed into the North and South towers, respectively, of the World Trade Center complex in New York City. Within two hours, both towers collapsed with debris and the resulting fires causing partial or complete collapse of all other buildings in the WTC complex, as well as major damage to ten other large surrounding structures. A third plane, American Airlines Flight 77, was crashed into the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense), leading to a partial collapse in its western side. The fourth plane, United Airlines Flight 93, was targeted at Washington, D.C., but crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after its passengers tried to overcome the hijackers. In total, almost 3,000 people died in the attacks, including the 227 civilians and 19 hijackers aboard the four planes. It also was the deadliest incident for firefighters in the history of the United States.

The attacks resulted in the deaths of 2,996 people, including the 19 hijackers and 2,977 victims. The victims included 246 on the four planes (from which there were no survivors), 2,606 in New York City in the towers and on the ground, and 125 at the Pentagon. Nearly all of the victims were civilians; 55 military personnel were among those killed at the Pentagon.

More than 90% of the workers and visitors who died in the towers had been at or above the points of impact. In the North Tower 1,355 people at or above the point of impact were trapped and died of smoke inhalation, fell or jumped from the tower to escape the smoke and flames, or were killed in the building's eventual collapse. The destruction of all three staircases in the tower when Flight 11 hit made it impossible for anyone above the impact zone to escape. One hundred-seven people below the point of impact died as well.

In the South Tower, one stairwell was left intact after Flight 175 hit, allowing 14 people located on the floors of impact and four more from the floors above to escape. 630 people died in that tower, fewer than half the number killed in the North Tower. Casualties in the South Tower were significantly reduced by some occupants deciding to start evacuating as soon as the North Tower was struck.

At least 200 people fell or jumped to their deaths from the burning towers (as exemplified in the photograph The Falling Man), landing on the streets and rooftops of adjacent buildings hundreds of feet below. Some occupants of each tower above the point of impact made their way toward the roof in hope of helicopter rescue, but the roof access doors were locked. No plan existed for helicopter rescues, and the combination of roof equipment and thick smoke and intense heat prevented helicopters from approaching. A total of 411 emergency workers died as they tried to rescue people and fight fires. The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) lost 340 firefighters, a chaplain and two paramedics. The New York City Police Department (NYPD) lost 23 officers. The Port Authority Police Department lost 37 officers. Eight emergency medical technicians (EMTs) and paramedics from private emergency medical services units were killed.

Cantor Fitzgerald L.P., an investment bank on the 101st–105th floors of the North Tower, lost 658 employees, considerably more than any other employer. Marsh Inc., located immediately below Cantor Fitzgerald on floors 93–100, lost 358 employees, and 175 employees of Aon Corporation were also killed. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) estimated that about 17,400 civilians were in the World Trade Center complex at the time of the attacks. (From Wikipedia)

When news of the attack was broadcast around the world, Muslims in every country in the Middle East poured into the streets and danced with joy.

As we pay honor today to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 we should also remember the lives lost in subsequent attacks carried out in the name of Islam by other Muslims. In the last 12-years, Muslims in America have plotted and carried out additional terrorist attacks in the name of Islam, their so-called Religion of Peace. Among the attacks that succeeded were the most recent bombing of the Boston Marathon and the Fort Hood, Texas massacre by Army Major Nidal Malik Hassan, a self-described Soldier of Allah. The most notable attacks that failed was the bombing plot in Times Square in New York City and the Christmas Day bombing of Northwest Airlines Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit, both attempted by Muslims.

  

Earthquake hits Washington, D.C. - News media ignores it. Patriots ride to counter Muslim protest.

The air quality around our nation's capitol smelled a lot like exhaust fumes today and the noise level was simply deafening. But the most dramatic effect was the earth shaking from the million or more motorcycles that slowly sped toward town, like an unstoppable army of patriots. Here are the first news reports, not from the left-wing mainstream news media but from the participants, themselves. The bikers Facebook page has exploded with over 100,000 likes, almost doubling the number in just two days. Biker clubs from all over America have signed on to participate in the ride and some clubs out West began their trek last week. Take a few minutes and read the comments being posted on the Facebook page. It is simply heartening to read where citizens were helping the bikers with food and lodging and gas as they came through.

Today, after hearing that Muslims in America had felt threatened by the fallout from those terrorist attacks that they never bothered to condemn, planned to gather in our nation's capitol as a Million Muslim March on the day when we honor the victims and first responders of their attack, bikers from across the country decided that enough was enough. For too long our society has been plagued by plots and carnage perpetrated by Muslims who were following the commands of the Prophet to reign terror on non-believers. For too long our leftist news media has been applying their self-imposed rules of political correctness in not even identifying the religion and nationality of these Islamic terrorists. For the last five years that same leftist news media has aided and abetted a Muslim sympathizer named Barack Hussein Obama and has failed to investigate his leanings toward the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization behind so many terrorist groups. Now it is time to show the world where true Americans stand. Now is the time to shake up the Capitol with a resounding earthquake of patriot bikers roaring through the streets.

KODAK (WATE) - Thousands of motorcyclists, many of which are from Tennessee, are making their way to Washington, D.C. as part of the 2 Million Biker Ride to honor 9/11 victims.

More than 1,000 bikers from different states met at a staging area Tuesday morning at Smokies Stadium in Kodak.

A 6 News crew is traveling with them on the first leg of the journey to the nation's capital.

The event was started to counter the 9/11 Million Muslim March in Washington. Those with the "2 Million Biker Ride" say they are doing it to honor victims, families of victims, and soldiers in the war on terror.

"We are supporting those that died on 9/11, and we're patriots, and a little underlying message to our government: they're not representing us in the ways they should be representing us," said participant Bob Buckley.

The estimated 50,000 bikers are set to reach Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.

At 9 a.m. on [Wednesday], September 11 all lanes on I-95 north at Exit 143 (Rt. 610/Garrisonville) in Stafford County will be closed to traffic for approximately 15 minutes to allow more than 500 motorcyclists to enter the interstate from Route 610 in Stafford County.

The motorcyclist will be traveling north on I-95 to the HOV lanes enroute to the Washington D.C. area.

To avoid delays motorists should use Route 1 north as an alternate route.

A group of 2,000 bikers coming from Cumberland, Md., was scheduled to stop for fuel in Hagerstown at 6:30 a.m. The group was expected to get off at Exit 29 on I-70 to Sharpsburg Pike and meet with various members of the Pride Motorcycle Club, which is composed of current and retired correctional employees, with 26 chapters across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Wisconsin and Kentucky, said Frank Kronawetter, president of the Hagerstown chapter.

Backfire! Washington, D.C. denial of 2-million bikers no-stop drive thru permit on 9-11-13 means all day stop and go ride.

The same idiot politicians who thought creating "Gun Free Zones" would make our schools safe assumed they could stop a few million patriotic bikers from driving non-stop through Washington, D.C. by denying them a permit. As usual, the idea BACKFIRED. The bikers, from some far-away states are already on the road and they all still intend to be there but now, obeying every law, every stop light, every pedestrian, their two hour ride will last all day long.

The real patriots in America are the one's willing to put down their personal business to join in a mutual effort to pay honor and tribute to our fallen heroes. To defend our rights to liberty and freedom and to confront those who choose to demean those heroes. Today those patriots are the millions of bikers in America who express their pride in their country and in their individualism every day they ride. Today they are on their way to Washington, D.C. to set the record straight. The numbers are not yet in but it may well be that 2-million bikers from across America are about to converge on our nation's capitol on the 12th anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attack to confront a Muslim group who planned to organize a march to celebrate the day other Muslims hijacked four airliners and killed thousands of Americans. The sound of millions of bikers roaring through Washington on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 will be a sound to remember. 

Riders across the country are tweeting that their kickstands are up and their motors are revving up. Others from more distant states are advising their riders are already on the way. Report: DC denies permit for 9/11 bikers; Planners move ahead anyway

In response to the planned “Million Muslim March” in Washington, D.C., on 9/11, bikers announced their own rival 2 Million Biker Ride. This weekend, news surfaced on blogs and Twitter that D.C. had denied the bikers an event permit.

Washington DC has DENIED our permit for a no-stop ride through Washington DC. We find this regretful for the residents and businesses of that great city, and humbly offer our apologies. What could have been a one or two hour ride through will now likely be an all day event. We will be obeying all laws. We will be stopping at all stoplights, stop signs, and yielding to all pedestrians.

RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES OF WASHINGTON DC: On behalf of the National “2 Million Bikers to DC” Team, please accept our sincere apologies. We did the right thing and went through the proper channels to secure a no-stop permit to ride through your great city. We wanted to ride an established route, which would have taken us past the Viet Nam Memorial to the Lincoln Memorial, across the bridge into Virginia, and that’s it! We would have been completely out of Washington DC, and your city would have been back to normal.

The National Team fully expected our permit to be rejected, and have already drafted a Plan-B.

Participants are moving forward.

News from the Arizona riders, they left Bellemont, Az yesterday at 6am and arrived in Shamrock, TX around 6pm AZ time last night. A little butt sore and jet lag but in great spirits... They left Shamrock this morning around 5am Az time....They're in OKIE country Elk City

We know that California and Texas riders had kicks stands up yesterday. Many other western states have kickstand up today and throughout the weekend.

You have freely given of your time, your funds, and your bikes to ride shoulder to shoulder in this event. You have have left your families and your jobs to be here. Those of us who ride come from different clubs, chapters, and organizations. Some of us ride with family and friends and some ride alone. But on September 11th, we ride as one!! We ride to pay tribute and offer respect to those that lost their lives on that day 12 years ago, and to salute our troops engaged in the War on Terror. The ultra-liberal news media will likely ignore this visit to Washington, D.C. as they often do with other patriotic demonstrations. So one enterprising rider suggested that the loudest bikes spend some time riding around the television stations and drowning out their news programs. Sounds to me like a great idea, pun intended.

God speed, riders. Have a safe and satisfying trip. But don't be too disappointed if you don't encounter many Muslims when you get there. When news of your plans came out most of them probably cancelled theirs. And every one of us who ride with you in spirit but who do it at home in their armchairs are with you. God Bless these patriots.

UPDATE: The Facebook page for the 2-million bikers ride has gone from 47,825 on Saturday to 61,031 today.

Updated news on the 2-million bikers ride on Washington, DC on 9-11-2013 to counter the Million Muslim March

As of this morning when I did a screen capture of the bikers ride on Washington, D.C. logo (see below) their Facebook page indicated there were 47,825 likes. As I write this post a half hour later the likes have increased 100 more. This is looking to be a monumental event to counter the absurdly insulting Million Muslim March on the day we set aside to honor the thousands of Americans who were killed after 19 Muslims hijacked four airliners and crashed them into the World Trade Center towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington. The fourth airliner went down in a field in Pennsylvania after the passengers had been alerted by cellphone calls of the events of the previous hijackings and decided to retake the aircraft. Those heroic passengers most likely saved the Capitol Building in Washington which was the last target of the Islamic extremists.

The permit is secured, the funding in place, the final route is being mapped out and now it’s full-throttle to DC for thousands upon thousands of patriotic bikers riding to Washington on 9/11.

Organizers of the “2 Million Bikers to DC” have called on bikers from all over the country to ride to DC to “remember those who were killed on 9/11 and honor our armed forces who fought those who precipitated this attack,” and counter protest the “Million American March Against Fear” – formally called by the more inflammatory name, the “Million Muslim March.”

According to the group’s Facebook page, which now has over 42,000 “Likes,” DC officials have thanked the organizers for getting a permit for the 9/11 event – there are 12 other rallies in the city that day – although they were not required to do so as riding is a First-Amendment right.

The story below from the web site Toledo News Today, in Toledo, Ohio, has the bikers plans for departing from this area on September 10th. Considering the logistics of time and distance, other groups should be hitting the highways a few days earlier.

(Toledo News Now) - This Sept. 11, two million bikers will descend on the nation's capital to honor the lives lost 12 years ago.

Bikers from all over the country will ride their motorcycles to Washington, DC in a show of solidarity and honor.

"I think it will be the most patriotic display the country has ever seen," said Mike Belair, state coordinator for Ohio.

On Tuesday, Sept. 10, bikers from Ohio will depart from the rest area on I-75, just south of Bowling Green, and begin their journey.

And finally, everyone needs to know what bikers love to eat most and you know they will be hungry and someone is surely doing the planning already. Bikers love barbecue and Pig is their favorite so if the aroma of 2-million motorcycle exhausts isn't intimidating enough to any groups of Muslims then the smell of the barbecued Pork, not exactly the favorite food of Muslims, should be suffocating.

Major change coming to Obamacare: Anyone who voted for or supported BO will receive an exemption.

Obamacare, officially known as the Affordable Care Act, was written with explicit language that it was to include everyone. No exceptions. Even members of Congress and their staff were mandated to follow the same rules as every other American citizen. This was apparently done to appease the Republicans and get their support for the bill. Then just before the 2012 elections several unions who had endorsed and campaigned for Barack Hussein Obama began to receive exemptions from the mandatory requirements. Then it was disclosed that members of Congress were concerned that their highly paid staff members would be persuaded to leave their cushy jobs if they had to pay for their own health insurance, like everyone else. So our Great Leader issued a decree that made them exempt and the government would continue to provide their insurance. Now we read that 40,000 union members have quit the AFL-CIO because they don't like the idea of having to pay for their health insurance.

40,000 Longshoreman Quit AFL-CIO Blaming ObamaCare 

In what is being reported as a surprise move, the 40,000 members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) announced that they have formally ended their association with the AFL-CIO, one of the nation’s largest private sector unions. The Longshoremen citied Obamacare and immigration reform as two important causes of their disaffiliation.

In an August 29 letter to AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, ILWU President  Robert McEllrath cited quite a list of grievances as reasons for the
disillusion of their affiliation, but prominent among them was the
AFL-CIO’s support of ObamaCare.

“We feel the Federation has done a great disservice to the labor movement and all working people by going along to get along,” McEllrath wrote in the letter to Trumka.

The ILWU President made it clear they are for a single-payer, nationalized healthcare policy and are upset with the AFL-CIO for going along with Obama on the confiscatory tax on their “Cadillac” healthcare plan.

What isn't a surprise is that almost immediately after this announcement, some union leaders asked Obama to also exclude them from the mandatory coverage requirement. And it looks like they will get it. So what it all comes to is that the only people who will be forced to buy health insurance will be people who didn't support or vote for Obama. In other words, Obamacare is really just a tax on Republicans.

In order to get Obamacare passed through Congress, then Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi famously remarked, "You have to pass the bill before you can see what's in it." But even when the bill was being written it had parts added for the expressed purpose of persuading certain groups from opposing it. Like the powerful NRA gun lobby. Democrat Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid inserted a clause in ACA that reversed a previous order to have family Physicians inquire if their patients had a gun in their house. Following the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, Obama issued his 23 Executive Orders to formulate Gun Control and one of those orders retracted the clause in Obamacare that Harry Reid inserted and once again, family doctors will be asking their patients if they own a gun. And since all medical records will be electronically stored and accessed by the government, anyone who admits they have a gun will be easily identified.

The true nature of Barack Hussein Obama's government is becoming clearer and clearer every day. He admits he doesn't need Congress to pass his laws, he can issue them by Executive Order. The Constitution is just an inconvenient piece of paper to him. He ignores and changes written laws to please himself and his friends and his supporters by issuing his Royal Decrees and Exemptions. It would not be surprising to learn he has a plan to remain in office after the end of his present term. And yes, there is a word for that, its called Dictator.
