What things may come: The question on everyone's mind is, Who will be the first patriot to die?

25 Million Americans can't all be wrong. That is the conservative estimate on the number of people who have been buying up and stockpiling weapons in the last four years. These are not criminals, they are law-abiding citizens who believe that civil war is coming to America and they must be prepared to defend their homes and their families - and - their country. All have a deep love for the freedoms instilled upon us by our Founding Fathers and a strong willingness to defend those rights. Our history is filled with stories about Patrick Henry of the American Revolution who famously declared: "I regret that I have but one life to give to my country" when the British executed him. But that was then and this is now. It may be interesting to note that, according to the web site Sipsey Street Irregulars, that only 3% of Americans actively supported the American Revolution against the British. So there is much truth to be learned in the famous words of Winston Churchill who said of the Royal Air Force in WWII, "Never before have so many owed so much to so few." Americans today are totally in debt to those 3%'s who fought for and died for our freedom and independence.

Today, in our technological era with instant texting and tweets and emails and blogs, we enjoy the greatest sense of communication than ever before. So what will happen when the tyranny we have been forewarned about finally arrives. Will we get a message warning us or will the government already have shut down the Internet and blocked the cell towers? Who will become the first patriot to die in defense of his freedom? Will we ever know the answer and will the truth ever be told in the news media? Has this already happened but the story was twisted and the truth covered over with lies? Lets look at a hypothetical situation that could happen anywhere in America today but most likely would be in some small town.

I live in a very quiet neighborhood that has almost no crime to speak of. It is so quiet that the local police only seem to make an appearance here a few times a week when a patrol car drives slowly down the street. Like a lot of people I do not know most of my neighbors so I cannot verify their reputations with the local authorities but based upon the lack of a police presence I must conclude that we have no criminal element here. 

So one day, I look out my window and see a large number of police cars with blinking lights and even a heavily armed SWAT team converging on a house a few doors away from me. What am I to think? I hear gunfire and then silence and then hours later calm is restored. The news media reports a domestic disturbance with one fatality resulting from shots returned by the police. Or maybe even a standoff with the homeowner committing suicide. 

Was this the truth or was someone resisting a raid to confiscate their weapons or just another perceived home invasion that was met with resistance? There have been stories reported about a tactic called Swatting where an anonymous phone call is made to 911 and the caller says, "I have shot my wife." The call is a vicious prank with the purpose of having a SWAT team invade someone's home to cause them extreme duress. The innocent homeowner is not aware of this when several armed people break down their front door and storm into their homes. If they were lucky enough to be unable to defend themselves then after enduring hours of questioning with guns pointed at them while they and their children are restrained with handcuffs then the police might admit they made a mistake and simply leave. But if the homeowner was able to get his or her hand on a gun and try to defend themselves from the unknown threat that forced their way in - the outcome would be entirely different.

It has been surmised that the Federal government may institute an unconstitutional ban on the possession and ownership of all guns and would first demand that every citizen turn them in or face arrest. Recent talk suggests that Barack Hussein Obama, flush with arrogant egotism over his fiscal cliff victory may decide to create this ban with an Executive Order - thus by-passing our Congressional representatives.  Many patriots have fully expected this to happen and have stated they would not comply with such rules under any conditions. After a time the government would be expected to conduct house to house searches and forcibly remove any weapons they found and probably the occupants, as well. We know that FEMA has already constructed detention centers around the country. We know that the last two sessions of Congress approved provisions in the NDAA, the National Defense Authorization Act, to give Obama the authority to arrest and detain without trial anyone suspected of terrorism and that within the lexicon of the Dept. of Homeland Security, persons suspected of terrorism include conservatives who support the Second Amendment, Pro-Life and third-party candidates. The government knows who they are because these patriots all have bumper stickers on their cars that say so. We know the government has taken on new self-proclaimed authorities through the Patriot Act that supposedly supersede our Bill of Rights without bothering to pass amendments to the Constitution as required. So the first cases of a SWAT team invasion in your neighborhood would likely be overlooked. Especially if conducted by local police or Sheriffs. Of course if the National Guard sent an armed personnel carrier or a tank down your street it may set off some alarms. What about the second or third time it happened? What if your entire neighborhood was occupied by an army and everyone ordered to leave their homes while the authorities conducted their searches? When and where would neighbors begin to stand up to defend neighbors?

The history of the rise of the Third Reich in Nazi Germany describes eye witness accounts of Gestapo agents rounding up the Jews with virtually no resistance. People just stood by and watched their neighbors being dragged away. Until the Gestapo came for them. As long as American citizens possess weapons to defend themselves our chances of a tyrant rising up in America are slim and that is the true purpose of the Second Amendment. And that is the only reason why a tyrannical government would demand the registration and confiscation of privately owned guns. Not for public safety but to ensure their own safety from an enraged public.

On the day that Patrick Henry was hanged, his execution was conducted in a public place and most likely to set an example to the rest of the community. In the history books tyrants and dictators have  gone to the extremes of mass executions to set similar examples against resistance. While it is unlikely something like that would ever take place on American soil with American soldiers or American law enforcement, the result of any massive civil unrest against a tyrannical government could lead to a United Nations Peacekeeping Force being brought in to quell the disturbances. The U.N. has the ability to marshal forces from every third-world country to wear their colors and these armies are most definitely not as civilized as we are. At that point the revolution will be well under way.

American Patriots will not willingly surrender their weapons but how they intend to resist or when they will begin is not very clear. The future that lies ahead has not been written.

In a 1995 broadcast of CBS' 60 Minutes, Feinstein admitted she would love to have instituted an "outright ban" on all guns.

Feinstein was the driving force to the failed (and now lapsed) 1994 “assault weapons” ban, and it was upon her success at getting the law passed that she made her admission. 

Note: In 1995, while trying to prevent everyone else from owning a gun, Sen. Feinstein bought her own handgun and received a virtually impossible to obtain California concealed carry weapon permit.

If I could've gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them -- Mr. and Mrs. America turn 'em all in -- I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren't here.

This is not the way many lefties are trying to sell their latest attempts at violating the 2nd Amendment, of course. Led by President Obama, the latest tactic is to claim that no one really wants to take away guns and that any claim to the opposite is just "fearmongering."

In 2008, then Senator Barack Hussein Obama went out of his way to tell the nation that he "believes" in the Second Amendment.

I, I, just want to be absolutely clear, all right? So I don’t want any misunderstanding, when, when y’all go home and you’re talkin’ to your buddies, and they say, "Aww, he wants to take my gun away." You’ve heard it here; I’m on television, so everybody knows it. I believe in the Second Amendment. I believe in peoples’ lawful right to bear arms. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away… But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one because it just ain’t true. It ain’t true.

Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C. today, poor old Barry is desperately searching for ways to swallow his Alligator tears as he publicly demands 'something' must be done to stop the violence and the drive to create new gun control will be his highest priority. Privately, he is looking at the tragedies at both the Aurora, Colorado movie theater and the Sandy Hook Elementary School (both committed by mentally ill people) as gifts that came on a silver platter, for without it he would have had nothing to use to support his Marxist/Socialist dream of disarming America.

  

‘No ma’am’: Letter from U.S. Marine to Dianne Feinstein goes viral

Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government’s right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma’am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one's self and possessions.

This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.

Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.

This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington's clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.

Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene. They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.

Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.

To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere....but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.

While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.

For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the US 2nd Amendment is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or "talking to them", it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.

The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?

No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed. Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.

So, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

The smoke screen has lifted. Sen. John Kerry officially nominated for Secretary of State.

Now that our U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice has withdrawn her name from consideration for Secretary of State after the House Republicans thoroughly discredited her questionable ethics, ultra-liberal, pro-Muslim, communist community organizer Barack Hussein Obama has officially nominated Sen. John 'Swiftboat' Kerry for the job. The establishment Republicans, aka RINOs, are all breathing a sigh of relief that the worst person for the job won't be getting it and one of their own Senate Country Club members will. I predicted this was all a smoke screen from the beginning to make the self-annointed hero of Vietnam the acceptable choice.

Someone has posted a petition within the last few days on the White House web page We The People, to remove Kerry from this consideration. It doesn't go far enough to describe how un-American, anti-military John Kerry really is.

In 1971 John Kerry gave false testimony about U.S. soldiers in Viet Nam and single-handedly did more harm to our POWs and returning veterans than any other person in the history of the U.S. He is a thief of stolen valor who has worked his entire career to undermine our military. He referred to American troops serving honorably in Iraq and Afghanistan as terrorists. It is an insult to every member of our armed forces and every American veteran to nominate Mr. Kerry to the position of Secretary of State. He has been a dismal representative of our foreign policy for over four decades and has often worked directly against the interests of the American people. We have every reason to believe that he will continue his traitorous, anti-American policies if confirmed as Secretary of State.

WND.com does a good job of filling in the missing pieces on John Kerry.

Sen. John Kerry in 1971 gave “false testimony about U.S. soldiers in Viet Nam and single-handedly did more harm to our POWS and returning veterans than any other person the history of the U.S.,” according to a new White House petition.

In 2004, he lost the race for the presidency with the release of the book “Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry,” which cited witnesses to his actions.

But Barack Obama now has nominated Kerry to be secretary of state, a position that will influence subsequent generations of troops he blasted as rapists and assassins who “cut off heads, taped wires … to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, shot at civilians, raced villages, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks.”

The art of distraction, keeping the spotlight off Sen. John Kerry and his quest for Secretary of State.

We are all watching another Washington, D.C. magic act. The magician waves his left hand to draw your attention while he sets up the next trick with his other hand. The Republicans are mesmerized by the act being played before them and cannot see what is about to happen next. U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice is being set up to be the worst possible candidate for replacing Hillary Clinton as the new Secretary of State, and the Republicans are gobbling it up. When it is all over we will see that Sen. John Kerry, the Swiftboat hero of Vietnam, the same John Kerry who awarded himself three Purple Hearts so he could leave the battlefield and come home to protest the war and accuse his fellow soldiers of killing women and children, will be the second best choice to be our next Secretary of State. And the Republican Senators, like John McCain, who once said about then Sen. Barack Hussein Obama, he could not say anything bad about a fellow member of the Senate, will voice a sigh of relief when they accept John Kerry as the lesser-of-two-evils. It is somewhat incongruous to realize that today, Sen. John Kerry occupies the position of Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the very body that launched his political career in 1971.

John Kerry's political career was launched in the U.S. Senate in the Committee on Foreign Relations on April 22, 1971 when he was invited to appear as a representative of the left wing group Vietnam Veterans Against the War. The testimony Kerry gave accused his fellow American troops of blatantly committing war crimes against the civilian population of Vietnam. He was congratulated for his work by leading liberals on the Senate committee. 

And today, as WND.com points out from a story in the Chicago Sun-Times, Hillary Clinton would rather see Sen. John Kerry become her replacement. Of course, John Kerry is more liberal than Susan Rice. And he isn't involved in any questionable business practices like Susan Rice. He earned his millions by marrying rich women. And he got his start in politics by accusing his fellow soldiers of horrible crimes. Nothing like climbing over your buddies to get ahead. Oh, and he is friends with Jane Fonda and they spoke at anti-war rallies.

And as for the rest of us, we have been suckered once again.  Can you imagine what John Kerry would be like as Secretary of State? Those few allies that we have left in the world must be having nightmares. He might even appoint his old friend Jane as his deputy. Why not, she would fit into the Obama administration perfectly because she was once married to a communist.

Now we will wait for the confirmation hearings in the Senate and the expected applause Kerry gets from fellow liberals like RINO Senator John McCain who once said in his 2008 campaign against Barack Hussein Obama, "I will not say anything bad about a fellow member of the Senate." No, never, not even when the fate of your country is at stake. John McCain ought to know a lot about being a 'patriot' as my post revealed some unpleasant facts about his tour in Vietnam.

Hollywood, long known as the Land of Make Believe, is a collective mentality of hypocrites who espouse the illogical logic of everything Liberal, especially when it comes to Guns and politics.

It highlights some of the more vocal Hollywood celebrities who rake in millions playing violent, gun-crazed pseudo heroes while personally taking an opposite stand in real life on ordinary law-abiding citizens owning guns for self defense. Let’s say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood… and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings. What do you think you should do?

Finally, there has been a lot of talk about the amateurish, inexperienced and bungled fiscal policies of Barack Hussein Obama and how he has done a poor job running the country and ruining our economy. Just for a moment suppose all of these failed policies were not an accident or the result of his lack of experience. Suppose they were designed to fail just like all the billions of stimulus dollars given to the solar energy companies that subsequently went bankrupt. Suppose his intention was to downgrade the status and world influence of America as he has already succeeded in downgrading our credit rating. Suppose for a moment that Obama is actually accomplishing everything he intended to do. If these suppositions are correct then is he waging war on us?

The irrefutable logic is

The asinine, illogical logic of liberals is that we will somehow all be safer if the law-abiding citizens turn in their guns. Just as safe as we are now in gun-free zones in schools and shopping malls.

Dianne Feinstein To Introduce Sweeping Gun Control Bill On First Day Of Congress

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., plans to introduce sweeping gun-control legislation at the beginning of the congressional session in January.

“It [the bill] will ban the sale, the transfer, the transportation and the possession” of certain weapons, the California senator said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “Not retroactively, but prospectively. And it will ban the same for big clips, drums or strips of more than 10 bullets.”

The senator describes the proposal as a version of the assault-weapons ban that expired in 2004.

Feinstein’s legislation ban scores of firearms, including military-style “assault” weapons and high-capacity ammunition feeding devices. It also calls for the creation of a federal register that would require millions of gun owners to be fingerprinted and photographed.

AND THE NEXT STEP AFTER REGISTRATION IS CONFISCATION. The knock on the door at 2 AM is just a stroke of the pen away.

Now I wonder where all those Democrats will stand on this issue that the NRA helped to get elected. 

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo On Gun Control: ‘Confiscation Could Be An Option’

In what will likely infuriate plenty of legal gun owners, New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo said this afternoon that he’d like the state’s legislature to consider all options in debating new gun control measures, including “confiscation” of “assault” weapons or “mandatory sales to the state” and “permitting.” 

The state legislature will likely debate new gun-related laws after the governor introduces the thought in his upcoming State of the State address on January 9th, 2013.

TheBlaze reports that Cuomo told Albany’s WGDJ-AM that while gun control hasn’t been on the docket recently, he plans to reach out to state legislators and eventually submit a proposal for new laws. One of his stated goals is to change state laws regarding the possession of so-called “assault” weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines.

According to Cuomo, his state’s existing laws regarding those matters have “more holes than Swiss cheese.”

“I don’t think legitimate sportsmen are going to say, ‘I need an assault weapon to go hunting,’” he said, echoing the sentiment of many other pro-gun control advocates before him, while noting: “I understand the rights of gun owners; I understand the rights of hunters.”

The governor then laid out several ideas for how the state would enforce stricter laws on those so-called “assault” weapons: “Confiscation could be an option. Mandatory sale to the state could be an option. Permitting could be an option — keep your gun but permit it,” he said.

I think the governor of New York jumped the gun (no pun intended) on this announcement. He should have waited until after he got the gun owners to register their guns first. And to think that Albany, New York is only 167 miles away from Lexington, Massachusetts.
