The law of averages in Nevada. Maybe the Democrats should learn some math.

This just struck me funny when I read it this morning. Harry Reid is getting so desperate to get reelected that he has invited Barack Hussein Obama to come to Nevada for a pep talk to the voters. What I read on Fox News said that: "The latest Rasmussen poll has Angle at 50 percent to Reid at 47 percent. The poll of 750 likely voters had a 4 percent margin of error."

Then I read that Obama's poll numbers are hovering around the 50% disapproval rate and only 45% approval. Why would someone ask for help from another person who had a lower approval rate then themselves? If you combine both of their ratings you get an even lower number than your own. Democrats have always had a problem with math and numbers.

Then, of course, there was the revelation from Harry Reid that he deserved to win the vote from Nevada citizens because he alone has saved the world from a worldwide depression. To the 15% unemployed voters in Nevada that should go over really big.

According to Fox News Harry Reid told MSNBC's Ed Schultz on Thursday night that voters in his state don't feel reassured when Reid tells them of his global achievement because they've fallen so far down the economic food chain.

"We were at the top and we've fallen very hard. So people have been hurting, and I understand that, and it doesn't give them comfort or solace for me to tell them, you know, but for me we'd be in a worldwide depression. They want to know what I've done for them, and that's why it's important for me, any chance I get, to say that my number one job is to create jobs,"

It is very reassuring that Harry Reid has been been so successful in creating jobs overseas. Too bad he hasn't done as well in his home state.

UPDATE 10-23-2010 from Sharron Angle, Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Nevada.
Yesterday I told you President Obama was coming to Nevada to bail out Harry Reid. We also showed you our new ad, "Welcome to Nevada, Mr. President." Today our ad was seen all across the country with stories everywhere from FOX to CBS to Politico. The press is calling it, "The first ad of 2012."

We set a goal of $150,000 to match what the President is going to raise for Harry tonight. Well, guess what? We just hit that goal--and Obama hasn't even spoken yet. We're bumping the goal to $200,000 right now, and when we get there, we're going to tell the media, "Barack Obama raised more money for Sharron Angle than he did for Harry Reid."

Let me tell you something: I am GLAD Obama is here to see first-hand what his and Harry's 'recovery' has done to our state. Together they have destroyed the Nevada economy. There will be a time very soon when we the American people hold Obama accountable for what he has done to us, but he's not on the ballot this year—Harry Reid is. And in eleven days, we’ll start a real recovery when Harry is fired and Obama's agenda is brought to a halt once and and for all.

Let's send them a message.
They deserve it.

For America,

Sharron
Angle, Republican Nominee for U.S. Senate, Nevada
