From the time the Pilgrims arrived on American soil, faith in God played an important part in shaping our nation. Images of Moses adorn the Supreme Court in recognition of the Judeo-Christian origin of our laws. But it was Taxes, loss of Liberty and oppression from a mad king that led our Founding Fathers to write The Declaration of Independence and start The American Revolution. Today, those who stand for these ideals no longer call themselves The Silent Majority because we are silent no more.
The Australian web site Winds of Jihad reported today that Condoleessa Rice, who was Secretary of State under President George W. Bush, was quoted as saying: “Disrespect for the holy Koran is not now, nor has it ever been, nor will it ever be, tolerated by the United States,” she said. “We honor the sacred books of all the world’s great religions. Disrespect for the Holy Koran is abhorrent to us all.” Condoleessa Rice was once considered a conservative Republican but she is also a black woman who now seems more inclined to sympathize with the sentiments of the black extremist Nation of Islam mentality than with mainstream conservatism. In the 2008 presidential campaign she would not say anything bad about Barack Hussein Obama who shares the same view on Islam.
On March 22, Pakistan Ambassador Haroon had written a letter to the UN Secretary General, where he drawn UN attention towards this despicable act of desecration of the Holy Quran by Wayne Sapp and Terry Jones in Florida.
He voiced Pakistan’s profound regret and deep concern at the increasing acts of “Islamophobia and growing trend of intolerance and hatred towards Muslims as well as insults to their religious symbols and personalities”.
Islamic ambassadors to Vatican demand Vatican condemnation of Qur'an-burning
Terry Jones is neither a priest nor a Catholic, but the Islamic Republic's Ahlul Bayt News Agency cannot be expected to have mastered the intricacies of Christian sectarianism. But note in any case that we have never seen such outrage and indignation from Islamic ambassadors or any other Muslims regarding any of the jihad terror attacks and plots against non-Muslims in the U.S. or Europe. These so-called "hijackings" of their peaceful faith never seem to move them to this kind of outrage. Note also that the ambassadors are trying to use this incident to attempt yet again to restrict the West's freedom of speech regarding Islam, jihad and Islamic supremacism.
News stories from the Middle East report that Muslim extremists have been on a rampage burning down Christian churches, sometimes even with Christians still inside. Other stories of similar barbarism have been reported in other countries where Christians, Jews and other non-Muslim faiths are being persecuted, tortured and killed.Very few of these stories ever make it into the leftist mainstream news media in spite of the documented reports in the overseas press. Here is a small sample from Bare Naked Islam. These are just a few that don't contain the more graphic photographs. If you have a strong stomach click the link and look at them all.

Back home in America, we too have seen examples of atrocious, disgusting behavior that has been well publicized in our news media. The demonstrations carried out by the Westboro Baptist Church in Kansas have infuriated many people who attended some of our military funerals. Carrying signs that say: "Thank God for dead soldiers" these fanatics with demented minds have been granted the right under our First Amendment by the United States Supreme Court to say and do anything they want because they enjoy the same Freedom of Speech as we all do. So my feelings are that if the sensibilities of every American can be assaulted by such disgraceful acts, then burning a so-called "holy book" called a Koran, that is filled with messages of hatred toward other religions, is a far less act of violence than burning down a Christian church and killing the worshipers still inside. Its time to end this mindless politically correct stupidity.
