Terrorist funding front group CAIR plans for 9-11 Public Service Announcements

Correcting some misleading wording: Someone has pointed out to me that the way I have described the opening statement to the Atlas Shrugs news post that I appeared to be vague in the numbers of Muslims killed during the attack on 9-11-2001 and subsequently, unintentionally sympathetic. Since neither was the case I am correcting the text herewith.

New York City is one of the most diverse communities you will find anywhere. Within the Big Apple, as it is called, you will find people from every place on Earth, both living, working and visiting. You will also find places of worship for every religion, unlike those Islamic States in the Middle East that ban any sign or symbol of religion other than Islam. And, Yes, there is a small Muslim population living and working in New York City, as well. Some were even working in the financial district in downtown on the morning of September 11, 2001. There has been a question about how many Muslims died during the attack on the World Trade Center towers that horrible morning. We all know there were 19 Muslims who hijacked four airliners but what about the innocent victims? USA Today reported yesterday that there were "about 60" Muslim victims not counting the 19 terrorists. They offered no details to substantiate this so I searched for more info. I found a web site archive Crossword Bebop Archives that went to the trouble of confirming the number of Muslim victims by checking the list of published names. As of 2007 this site identified only 28 Muslim victims at the WTC and on the hijacked planes - not counting the 19 Muslim terrorists. That small number is less than 1% of the total number of innocent victims killed. Here is the reason why this web site checked out the facts:

The reason I'm curious is that Omar Shahin, the leader of the Flying Imams, claimed that 1,200 Muslims died in the 9/11 Attacks. He made this claim on September 28, 2001 in the Arizona Republic:

Shahin of the Tucson Islamic Center said more than 1,200 Muslims died in the World Trade Center catastrophe, and no genuine member of Islam would do such a thing.

The point here is concerning a story that was published on Atlas Shrugs today about a plan conceived by the terrorist funding front group CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations, which seems to have been proclaimed as the official spokes-group for every Muslim in America by our liberal news media. CAIR is proposing a series of Public Service Announcements on the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks that claims there were a lot more Muslim victims than we realize. Read and view the announcements they intend to air on this web site: The News Market and listen to the false propaganda. TV Stations to Air Hamas-linked, Islamic Supremacist Commercials for Free?

Unindicted co-conspirator, Muslim Brotherhood proxy, Hamas-funder CAIR is, once again, resorting to bullying and intimidating to impose their Islamic supremacist agenda on America. Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas-linked CAIR is demanding that television stations broadcast their propaganda commercial for free.

Atlas readers -- heads up. Any television station that runs the Muslim Brotherhood ads for free will have to give equal time to SIOA and FDI. We will create PSAs defending individual rights and free speech (advocating for the repeal of nefarious hate speech/hate crime laws being used to impose the sharia).     (WASHINGTON, D.C., 9/2/10) -- CAIR is asking American Muslims and others interested in promoting understanding and unity to help distribute a new series of public service announcements (PSA) designed to challenge the growing Islamophobia in American society.

    Please help us reach every TV market by arranging to have your local stations air them. Stations will run PSAs for free as a public service. Communities could also buy air time to run the PSAs as paid advertisements.

    CAIR's PSA campaign is also designed to offer an implicit challenge to the Florida church that plans to burn copies of the Quran, Islam's revealed text, on September 11.

It seems very likely that CAIR intends to resurrect the myth first proposed by Omar Shahin of the Tucson Islamic Center nine years ago. You can check the names of the victims on two referenced web sites, CNN.com and FOX News and see for yourself. Since less than 1% of the total number of innocent victims were Muslims it appears that CAIR will be trying to capitalize on the attack to deflect the connection to Islamic intentions away from itself. Any group such as CAIR that has been identified in Federal Court as a front group for the Hamas terrorist network certainly has no credibility in this matter.
