Copycat news media and blinded politicians denying the truth about Islam

I read this sign on a church billboard and it is the best description of why we should not be politically correct: DON’T BE SO OPEN MINDED YOUR BRAINS FALL OUT

How many times do you fall asleep watching television? How often are you lulled into sleep reading a newspaper? The answer to the second question is, more often than to the first question. Only problem is you don’t realize it when it happens. No news is good news they tell you but in actuality, no useful, informative news is really bad news. Especially when it comes to threats against your country.

Now who would not want you to know about a serious threat against your country? Here are a few to consider: People who hate your country, People who seek personal gain from times of peril, People who allow themselves to be influenced by political pressure, People who are intellectually ignorant of the danger of being politically correct. There are three primary sources where you will find most of these people who fit the above criteria: Politicians, Journalists and Academics.

A good example of how Academics fit the first criteria, People who hate your country, can be found in the CNN.com story (linked below) reprinted from the Brown Daily Herald (Brown College) story about 3,000 college professors who signed a petition supporting Weather Underground terrorist and friend of Barack Hussein Obama, William Ayers.

A perfect example of how the so-called journalists working for the left wing news media distorts, lies and covers up these threats was summed up today by Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs:

We have reached the point where Islamic supremacists and Muslim Brotherhood proxies are virtually dictating their propaganda and fallacious narrative to big media and scribes, who take it down word for word, lie for lie, and report it as fact. Unindicted co-conspirator, Hamas-linked, Muslim Brotherhood front CAIR is the go-to guy for all things Islam. Never are they identified for the subversives that they are. Never are their jihadist connections or convicted leadership mentioned. Just as Anwar Awlaki was the go-to imam for big media right after 911 (Awlaki was imam to a couple of the 911 Muslim terrorists, as well as the Fort Hood jihadi, the Christmas day bomber, the Times Square bomber, et al). These willing dupes lather, rinse, repeat. They hit bottom and just keep digging. They still don't get it. In the information battle space, it's a game, and they are being so played. But could the stakes be higher?

Responsible journalism is dead.

As far as our local news media in Northern Kentucky goes, they all seem to follow the same copycat pattern fostered by the major networks, they all choose to rely an CAIR for all commentary regarding protests against Muslims and mosques and Islam. That includes the Kentucky Enquirer newspaper, television channels Fox 19 WXIX, WLWT channel 5, WCPO channel 9 and WKRC channel 12.

As far as politicians go, almost every one of them manages to get wealthier while in office because of the value of the power and influence they control. And along with their power is the credibility they often unjustly deserve. Case in point, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Following the discovery of the car bomb in Times Square, when a CBS News reporter asked him to speculate who may have been responsible, Mayor Bloomberg said it was likely someone dissatisfied with Obama’s healthcare bill or some radical right wing group. We all know it turned out to be a radical Muslim wannabe terrorist who got financed by the Islamic terrorists in Pakistan. The news media made a big deal over Mayor Bloomberg’s statement and never approached him about it after the truth became known.  Now Mayor Bloomberg is a big supporter of the proposed mosque 600 feet away from Ground Zero where the radical Muslims attacked the World Trade Center on 9-11-2001. Turns out that Mr. Bloomberg who happens to be a billionaire businessman who enjoys the power and influence of being a big city mayor is also involved in a major business enterprise in the Middle East. So he fits several criteria on who would not want to reveal the truth about a serious threat to your country.

So it turns out that our government leaders don't want an open discussion about the threats posed to America by the proliferation of Islamic mosques because they may be uninformed or afraid of not being politically correct. And they get all their information from very same biased sources that we do, the left wing news media. And it turns out that while the left wing news media continues to remind us of the protests against the proliferation of mosques across America from Florence, Kentucky, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Temecula, California and Ground Zero, NYC, New York and hundreds of other places, too numerous to mention, they simply report only one side of the issue. And they repeatedly go to the same biased source for commentary that Pamela Geller wrote about, CAIR, and don't bother to tell you anything that would damage CAIR's credibility. 

What are our elected officials waiting for, more evidence of a smoking gun? Well I think I have just seen this evidence.  A few years ago The Center for Religious Freedom conducted an investigation into anti-American hate propaganda emanating from material published by the Saudi Arabian government for distribution in mosques both in America and other countries. Nice set of credentials that should convince anyone of their impartiality.
