From the time the Pilgrims arrived on American soil, faith in God played an important part in shaping our nation. Images of Moses adorn the Supreme Court in recognition of the Judeo-Christian origin of our laws. But it was Taxes, loss of Liberty and oppression from a mad king that led our Founding Fathers to write The Declaration of Independence and start The American Revolution. Today, those who stand for these ideals no longer call themselves The Silent Majority because we are silent no more.
Hypocrisy: "What's good for thee is not good for me" and vice versa, "Do as I say and not as I do". Sort of reminds us of the sign painted on the barn by the pigs in George Orwell's Animal Farm, "All animals are created equal but some are more equal than others". We have seen how the hypocritical leadership of the Democratic Party have exempted themselves and their Congressional staff and selected few from the stifling, high cost of ObamaCare that is about to crush most Americans who haven't benefited by the gratuitous exemptions granted by Obama's decrees. Those lucky ones who were exempted would be most of the Democrat-controlled unions who supported and worked for Obama's election. Hypocrites can and do expect to get away with anything they want (as long as they wield the power) while others who are expected to follow the more civilized rules of society cannot. The word 'hypocrite' has become synonymous with Democrat.
One of the most egregious examples was the vile curse put upon the children of a Republican Senator's aide by an official of the Democratic Party.
Democratic Official Allan Brauer Wishes Death on Ted Cruz Aide’s Children
Brauer serves as communications chair for Sacramento Democratic Party
Allan Brauer, the communications chair
for the Democratic Party of Sacramento, Calif., told an aide to Sen.
Ted Cruz (R., Tex.) on Friday that he hoped her children “die from
debilitating, painful and incurable diseases.”
And this was supposed to be the apology:
Update (2:13 p.m.): The California Democratic Party
spokesman Tenoch Flores said “the problem” with attacks like wishing a
painful death on the children of a political staffer is that it lets
people like Sen. Ted Cruz “off the hook,” in a statement to Yahoo’s Chris Moody:
“The problem with this kind of rhetoric is that it lets
fringe characters—those who are actively trying to shut down the
government—like Ted Cruz, off the hook. It’s never acceptable to wish
physical harm against political opponents, regardless of how
objectionable their policy priorities are.”
If a Republican had said something horrible like this they would have been hounded by the leftist news media into oblivion and most certainly, out of a job.
What else have the hypocrites done that no one else can get away with? Well, more death threats against Republicans, for one thing. Here are a few examples of public threats against President George Bush by some obvious Democrat supporters that faced no charges. Had any pro-Republican or Tea Party demonstration displayed a similar threat against Barack Hussein Obama they would have been arrested. Read this article for more examples. http://www.zombietime.com/zomblog/?p=621
On the other hand, some signs do tell the truth.
UPDATE: 9-21-2013
UK Daily Mail reports
Democratic Party official forced to RESIGN after tweeting death wish to GOP senator's aide
The Democratic Party of Sacramento
County, California scrambled on Friday to deal with fallout from a
series of tweets its communications chair sent Friday, in which he
wished the children of a speechwriter in the office of Sen. Ted Cruz
would endure a painful death.
By
day's end Allan Brauer was apologizing, but not before galvanizing
conservative Republic tweeters against him in a virtual online bloodbath
and losing his political position over what the party called 'appalling
and inexcusable' comments.
