Local news media gives another PR pitch for radical Islam.

When it comes to Muslims and Islam the Cincinnati Enquirer seems to display an overly friendly relationship with them that borders on covering up any and all disparaging news that would tarnish their image and almost never publishes any disagreeable comment. The Enquirer has published numerous columns lauding the good works of various local Muslims, as if they were just like everyone else, and one Muslim in particular, Karen Dabdoub, Executive Director at Council on American-Islamic Relations in Cincinnati, has written almost as many pieces under her own name whitewashing the criminal aspects of her group. Wikipedia notes that "CAIR officials are often interviewed by major national, local, and international media on news programs involving Muslims in America. In five years CAIR officials were cited over 11,000 times by media, including CNN, MSNBC, BBC, ABC, Fox, NBC, CBS, Washington Post, USA Today, and the New York Times. Editorials written by CAIR officials are published nationwide." Since the Associated Press has made its Style Book religious neutral when writing about Muslim acts of terrorism, substituting phrases like "Detroit man arrested for bomb plot" and failing to identify the man as a Muslim, national news no longer informs the public about the war being waged against America. But what excuses do the local news media have when the same thing happens in their backyard?

From the standpoint of public relations the political goals of Islam couldn't enjoy a better arraignment. One detail about CAIR always seems to get omitted from the stories in the Enquirer: the little fact that the U.S. Dept. of Justice labeled the organization an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas, Texas in 2008 that sent a number of participants to prison for funneling charity donations to support the terrorist group Hamas. On November 24, 2008, the government obtained guilty verdicts against the Holy Land Foundation and five individual defendants. The jury found the Holy Land Foundation guilty on all 108 charges. The 2008 trial of the charity leaders was dubbed the "largest terrorism financing prosecution in American history." In 2009, the founders of the organization were given life sentences for "funneling $12 million to Hamas." Among those convicted was Ghassan Elashi, a member of the founding Board of Directors of the Texas branch of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), who was sentenced to 65 years. Yet whenever CAIR is mentioned it is with the same esteem as the Boy Scouts. Were they writing about someone connected to the Mafia you can be sure they would make that understood.

Ignoring the facts doesn't make them go away

One knowledgeable critic of Islam said that there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. Islam is Islam and there is only one variation, one flavor as he put it, and the followers cannot pick and choose what they wish to believe. The laws of Islam are contained in the Sharia, a barbaric law dating back to the 7th Century, which every Muslim is required to follow. The punishment for not doing so is extremely harsh and often bloody. The Islamic laws that rule in Saudi Arabia and in Iran are the same that apply to Muslims in America. One part of the culture of Islam is based upon family honor upholding traditional Islamic rules and more than a few Muslims in America have committed "Honor Killings" against their own children and family members when they have tried to break away from that culture. Under Islamic Sharia law women are required to cover their exposed skin in public so that Muslim men will not become seduced by their femininity and rape them. But Islamic Sharia law dictates that a woman who has been raped must be tried for adultery and when convicted, will be stoned to death. 

The most common crime committed under Sharia Law is Blasphemy which can be interpreted as almost anything that causes embarrassment to any Muslim or to Islam. Blasphemy is often used for revenge to get back at someone because even when proven false the accused is often punished. A non-Muslim who touches a Qur'an is guilty of Blasphemy and who can prove it didn't happen. According to Pakistani religious scholar, Javed Ahmed Ghamidi, nothing in Islam supports Blasphemy law. Rather, Muslim jurists made the offense part of Sharia; the penalties for blasphemy can include fines, imprisonment, flogging, amputation, hanging, or beheading. A Muslim who converts to another religion is guilty of a crime called Apostasy and becomes an Apostate, and this also is punishable by death. The case of a local girl, Rifqa Bary, from Hilliard, Ohio a few years ago made headlines when she ran away from home after becoming a Christian because her father threatened to kill her in an Honor Killing. 

There are Muslims in America who propose to incorporate Islamic Sharia law into our own laws and there have been Muslim judges in some of our courts who have applied those laws to trials before them. Judges who should never have been appointed or elected to the bench because in following their religion they put Sharia law above our civil law. Islamic Sharia law has been proven to be incompatible with a Constitutional Republic. Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said on 8-02-2010 that music is "not compatible" with the values of the Islamic republic, and should not be practiced or taught in the country. And neither is free speech or freedom of religion. And in Saudi Arabia a Christian will be arrested for carrying a Bible or Rosary Beads.

Dhimmitude: How the press allows itself to be used to promote Islam  

Case in point: A glowing tribute in the Enquirer to a local Muslim doctor doing charity work.

Wikipedia describes the word Dhimmitude as situations where non-Muslims in the West are championing Islamic causes above others. To understand my point of view you should know that I am not a Muslim and never was but I am a strong critic of their religion. I am a Baptized Roman Catholic and because of personal experiences with my father's Muslim family I became interested in learning about Islam long before the attacks on 9-11-2001. After the attacks I looked deeper into the motivating factors behind it and so many other Islamic inspired attacks since. Attacks, such as the slaughter at Ft. Hood, Texas by self-professed Soldier of Allah, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, that the media refuses to attribute to Islam. What I found out is totally at odds with the politically correct, whitewashed image of this group portrayed in the Cincinnati Enquirer and in our national media. Taken at face value the Enquirer article on this doctor portrays a generous, dedicated and charitable medical professional, bringing needed help to impoverished people. (I'm not printing her name because it could put her in danger. This blog is read in many Muslim countries.) While my personal knowledge of Islam tells me this woman, if she is telling the truth about reading the Bible and singing Christian songs along with Christian missionaries, is very much at odds with the true teachings of her religion. In fact it could border on Blasphemy or Apostasy. If she has used this newspaper to promote Islamic propaganda then she has done nothing but practice Taqiyya – an instruction for Muslims to lie or deceive non-Muslims if it helps Islam. That the editors of The Cincinnati Enquirer would be a willing part in this propaganda makes you a Dhimmi and you are guilty of Dhimmitude.

True believers of Islam are not allowed to make friends with or associate with non-Muslims unless they do so to further the cause of Islam. The Qur'an says in sura 4:144
" O ye who believe! Choose not disbelievers for (your) friends in place of believers. Would ye give Allah a clear warrant against you ?"

This verse clearly states that a Muslim can only befriend a Muslim. Mohammed in order to ensure that his followers will not befriend and get influenced by people of other religions, revealed this verse. This verse illustrates that if a Muslim befriends a Non-Muslim than the wrath of Allah will be on him. Therefore in Islam, people of other religions should be treated with contempt, disrespect and cruelty.

Qur'an 5:51
" O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for friends. They are friends one to another. He among you who taketh them for friends is (one) of them. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk."

In this verse Prophet Mohammed is clearly instructing his followers never to befriend a Christian or a Jew. Because if they take a Christian or a Jew as a friend, they will commit a wrong deed and Allah's wrath will be on them.

Because of my last name, I receive a lot of mail from Muslim groups who do mass mailings to anyone with an Arab sounding name. One piece of mail from the Hidaya Foundation to solicit a donation to this Muslim charity included a detailed brochure about Zakat, the Islamic practice of charity giving. It is interesting to note, they explained in the brochure, that according to the Qur'an "Zakat is only given by Muslims to Muslims". This is the opposite of many real Christian charities that distribute aid to the Middle East and Africa and around the world to people of all faiths. Here is a picture of that instruction from their brochure. If this Muslim charity, the Hidaya Foundation, acknowledges that according to the Qur'an Muslim's charitable contributions should only go to other Muslims than how can a Muslim doctor work side by side with Christians doing charitable work and not be violating their holiest book? Because if they take a Christian or a Jew as a friend, they will commit a wrong deed and Allah's wrath will be on them.

The "Satanic Verses" in the book of Hate

Islam is based upon the writings contained in the Qur'an and the Hadiths, comprised of commands from their Prophet Mohammad and stories about his life style. It covers every detail of a Muslim life including hygiene, using the toilet, and having sex with young girls as soon as they have menstruated. Mohammad was a warrior so most of his orders to his followers were condemnations against his enemies. Thus, the greater bulk of the Qur'an, more than 60%, is filled with hate against Christians and Jews. If Islam were not regarded as a religion then based upon the laws in most civilized countries the Qur'an would be considered hate literature. The only thing necessary to turn a law-abiding devout Muslim into a radical terrorist is for someone to remind them that their Prophet commanded them to be one and that is exactly what takes place in many of the mosques throughout America. The FBI has determined that a majority of mosques are recruitment and training grounds for terrorism. One reason for this is that almost half of the mosques in America were built with financing from the Saudi Arabian government and as a condition of receiving that financial support, these mosques are required to distribute literature teaching the Wahabbi version of Islam, the most radical anti-western religious sect that is the law of the Saudi government. A study conducted by the NGO Freedom House found Wahhabi publications in mosques in the United States. These publications included statements that Muslims should not only "always oppose" infidels "in every way", but "hate them for their religion … for Allah's sake", that democracy "is responsible for all the horrible wars of the 20th century", and that Shia and certain Sunni Muslims were infidels. Note the phrase, "for Allah's sake". The very logic used to convince a devout Muslim to oppose all man-made governments. And as a reminder, 15 of the 19 Muslim terrorists who hijacked those four airliners on 9-11-2001 were from Saudi Arabia.

Criticism of Islam consists of even just quoting passages from the Qur'an by a non-Muslim and that is why many Muslims in America are calling for Islamic Blasphemy laws to be put on our law books. Devout Muslims don't believe in Freedom of Speech except when they lie about themselves. Devout Muslims do not believe in any man-made governments such as ours and only recognize governments ruled by Allah's laws. This also means that every Muslim that emigrated to America and took the oath to be a citizen has committed perjury because the lied when they swore to uphold our Constitution.

Here is another story that you didn't find in the Cincinnati Enquirer because it might place their friends at CAIR in an embarrassing situation. You can rest assured that whenever a Muslim does a good deed the Enquirer will use the words Muslim and Islam many times in the story, but whenever a Muslim does a bad thing there will be no mention of Muslim or Islam in the story - if it is printed at all.

Muslim leader's stunning claim at Texas rally for Islam

Muslims living in America should not be bound by U.S. law, according to a leader of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, who delivered the controversial message to a crowd at a Muslim rally in Austin, Texas.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.

The rally in Austin was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events.

According to the event website, Muslims from around Texas went to the capitol to “promote civic and political activism throughout the wider Muslim community.”

The organizers said one major issue discussed “was the recent House and Senate bill proposals involving the implementation of ‘anti-Shariah’ legislation, where the First Amendment rights and freedoms of Muslims would ultimately be hindered.”

Critics argue Shariah prohibits other faiths from free exercise of religion when enforced, giving freedom only to Muslims.

Carroll’s statement was similar to a statement allegedly made by CAIR co-founder and former chairman Omar M. Ahmad. He was paraphrased by a reporter saying, “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant” and the Quran “should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.”

Carroll began joking about the widespread concern about Shariah, the religious code that governs Muslim civil and political life.

“We tried to downplay Shariah, because we didn’t want to give the other side any excitement for being here,” he said.

He dismissed critics who express concern about Shariah, calling them “anti-foreign.”

“When you even say the word Shariah, people get nervous. We are not advocating for Shariah. We are not trying to make Shariah the law of the land,” he said.

Carroll claimed Muslims only want the “right to practice our faith.”

But he also said, “If you understand Shariah, the foundation of our faith … how we treat our neighbor, how we treat our parents … how we participate in society, all of that is part of Shariah.”

Carroll is on record defending Hamas, classified by the U.S. as a terrorist group.

“I think you can only blame Hamas for so long. It takes two to tango. And I think, you know, that what we’ve heard for a number of years is this terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, was not just Hamas,” he’s said.

At CAIR’s Dallas banquet in 2007, Carroll denied the Quran is the source of terrorism.

“Look at the true cause of the terrorism. It’s not somebody is reading a book, reading a Quran, and then go out and say, ‘Well, the Quran told me to blow this up. I’m gonna blow it up.’ The cause, the root cause of terrorism is oppression. The root cause of terrorism is oppression.”
