A lesson in history. From Stalin to Vietnam to November 6, 2012. They're all connected.

A few lessons in history would be more accurate. During the time that Communist Dictator Joseph Stalin ruled the Soviet Union with a bloody fist he was quoted as saying: "It's not the people who vote that count. It's the people who count the votes." Urban Legends has an interesting explanation for the background on this quote.
"Granted, Stalin never faced a nationwide popular election, but he did have to cope with the Communist Party Central Committee, which periodically cast votes on membership, policy, and leaders. Though Stalin was able to negate the Central Committee's authority when it suited him, he did so by carrying out brutal reprisals against those who voted contrary to his wishes, not by controlling how the votes were counted. "
"A historical source has been found for one variant of this quote. The source is Boris Bazhanov's Memoirs of Stalin's Former Secretary, published in 1992 and only available, so far as I know, in Russian. The pertinent passage, which appears near the end of chapter five, reads as follows (loosely translated):"
"You know, comrades," says Stalin, "that I think in regard to this: I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this — who will count the votes, and how."
Today we have a billionaire named George Soros who practically invented every left-wing cause in America and probably financed all of them. Human Events ran his biography last year and here below are just a few of his noteworthy efforts. What is noteworthy about this bio is the fact that Human Events forgot to mention one of George Soros' most recent projects, The Secretary of State Project. The Blaze has more on this but just this quote explains a great deal that confirm old Joe Stalin's famous quote above. Yeah, the job of the Secretary of State for the 50 sovereign states is to certify the vote count. “In most states the secretary of state is the chief elections officer, so putting left-wingers in the often-overlooked but critically important office allows these political radicals to manipulate the electoral process,” writes Matthew Vadum for the American Spectator. Here are some of the reasons why Human Events considers George Soros so dangerous.
1.  Soros started the Open Society Institute in 1993 as a way to spread his wealth to progressive causes.  Using Open Society as a conduit, Soros has given more than $7 billion to a who’s who of left-wing groups.  This partial list of recipients of Soros’ money says it all: ACORN, Apollo Alliance, National Council of La Raza, Tides Foundation, Huffington Post, Southern Poverty Law Center, Soujourners, People for the American Way, Planned Parenthood, and the National Organization for Women.
2.  Influence on U.S. elections:  Soros once said that removing President George W. Bush from office in 2004 was the “central focus of my life.”  He put his money where his mouth is, giving $23.58 million to various 527 groups dedicated to defeating Bush.  His early financial support helped jump-start Barack Obama’s political career.  Soros hosted a 2004 fund-raiser for Obama when he was running for the Illinois Senate and gave the maximum-allowed contribution within hours of Obama’s announcement that he was running for President.
3.  Wants to curtail American sovereignty:  Soros would like nothing better than for America to become subservient to international bodies.  He wants more power for groups such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, even while saying the U.S. role in the IMF should be “downsized.”  In 1998, he wrote:  “Insofar as there are collective interests that transcend state boundaries, the sovereignty of states must be subordinated to international law and international institutions.”
4.  Media Matters:  Soros is a financial backer of Media Matters for America, a progressive media watchdog group that hyperventilates over any conservative view that makes it into the mainstream media.  Now its founder, David Brock, has openly declared war on Fox News, telling Politico that the group was mounting “guerrilla warfare and sabotage” against the cable news channel, and would try to disrupt the commercial interests of owner Rupert Murdoch—an odd mission for a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt educational foundation that is barred from participating in partisan political activity.
5.  MoveOn.org:  Soros has been a major funder of MoveOn.org, a progressive advocacy group and political action committee that raises millions for liberal candidates.  This is the group that had on its website an ad comparing President George W. Bush to Adolf Hitler and ran the infamous “General Betray Us” ad in the New York Times, disparaging the integrity of Gen. David Petraeus.
The second lesson in history is about General Võ Nguyên Giáp.

General Giap was a brilliant, highly respected leader of the North Vietnam military. The following quote is from his memoirs currently found in the Vietnam war memorial in Hanoi :

'What we still don't understand is why you Americans stopped the bombing of Hanoi. You had us on the ropes. If you had pressed us a little harder, just for another day or two, we were ready to surrender! It was the same at the battle of TET. You defeated us! We knew it, and we thought you knew it. But we were elated to notice your media was helping us. They were causing more disruption in America than we could in the battlefields. We were ready to surrender. You had won!'

General Giap has published his memoirs and confirmed what most Americans knew. The Vietnam war was not lost in Vietnam — it was lost at home. The same slippery slope, sponsored by the U.S. media, is currently underway. It exposes the enormous power of a Biased Media to cut out the heart and will of the American public.
Anyone trying to fact-check this will stumble upon a long-winded denial over at Snopes.com. I mention this because Snopes.com habitually denies everything critical of any liberal, any Democrat or especially anyone in the leftist news media. That makes them just as biased as the rest of the mainstream news media so I discount everything they write. The facts do speak for themselves, during the Vietnam War the American news media was very hostile toward our military and quite favorable to the draft dodgers who moved to Canada and to the left-wing anti-war protestors who gathered in every city to wave their Viet Cong flags and Chairman Mao's Little Red Book.

Today the leftist news media is distorting the facts with their biased journalism about the most important presidential campaign in American history. We all saw CNN commentator Candy Crowley who was supposed to be the impartial moderator inject herself into the debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Hussein Obama, remarkably siding with Obama's claim that he immediately labeled the deadly attack on the Libyan consulate a terrorist act — and not allowing Mitt Romney to call him out. More remarkable was her later statement off camera of course, that Mitt Romney was right, after all. In spite of their control of the news media, thankfully the public doesn't seem to be buying their distorted slant on the news. Meanwhile, we still have to worry about those liberal Democrats who George Soros helped get elected to Secretary of State in 2008 and 2010. You may recall that it was Florida's Secretary of State Kathleen Harris who brought the lawsuit in 2000 that successfully challenged the fraudulent votes for Democrat Al Gore and allowed Republican George W. Bush to get elected.
