This is Islamic Sharia Law in action. 16-year old girl forced to marry man who raped her. FOX News omits critical details about Islam.

FOX News reported this story a month ago on their web site but they left out a few important facts. I have read so many stories like this that it just seems redundant to keep repeating them but this story had one additional point that got me fuming. In every Muslim country around the world the only laws practiced are Islamic Sharia law and besides their 7th Century barbaric cruelty, these laws are all written to deny women any protection. That is because these Sharia laws originate from the teachings of the Islamic religion. Under Sharia Law, to prove a rape a woman must have four male witnesses to testify against the rapist. Often, a rape victim is prosecuted as an adulteress and can sometimes be stoned to death. Also under Sharia Law, the rapist can avoid prosecution and the female victim can save her family's honor if she marries her rapist. Many times the female victim of a rape is murdered by her family in an Honor Killing to preserve the family honor, but in this case, the victim committed suicide. FOX News, like all of the other news media is aware of this but News Corp., the parent company of FOX News, recently sold a large chunk of their stock to a Saudi Arabian prince, and now seems obliged to downplay the aspects of Islamic influence on any stories like this. So FOX News never mentioned anything about the law in Morocco being Islamic Sharia Law although they stated that,

"Article 475 of the Moroccan penal code allows for the "kidnapper" of a minor to marry his victim to escape prosecution, and it has been used to justify a traditional practice of making a rapist marry his victim to preserve the honor of the woman's family."

But the point they made that got me fumed was when they injected a comment about the Christian Holy Bible when they said,

"In many parts of the Middle East, there is a tradition whereby a rapist can escape prosecution if he marries his victim, thereby restoring her honor. There is a similar injunction in the Old Testament's Book of Deuteronomy." 

FOX News can compare this vile custom to Christians but they cannot mention anything about Islam or Sharia Law. The Muslim culture has a name for people like this. They call them Dhimmies, and Wikipedia has the origin and definition of the word.

Dhimmitude is a neologism first found in French denoting an attitude of concession, surrender and appeasement towards Islamic demands. It is derived by adding the productive suffix -tude to the Arabic language dhimmi, which literally means protected and refers to a non-Muslim subject of a sharia law state.
