Some apologists say that Islam is a religion of peace that has been unfairly hijacked by radicals. Others point out that judging by the words in the Koran itself, Islam is a radical religion and has nothing to do with peace. Some Islamic scholars like to claim that Muslims have made vast contributions to the world in the fields of science and art and literature. Others say that Islam falsely lays claim to accomplishments belonging to cultures subjugated through their conquests. Now a spokesman for the Ground Zero Mosque, Imam Abdallah Adhami has attempted to lay claim that Moses, one of the earliest leaders of the Jewish religion, the man who brought God's Ten Commandments down from Mount Sinai, was a Muslim, thus attempting to rewrite another piece of history. This latest boast comes from Imam Abdallah Adhami who, as revealed by Pamela Geller from Atlas Shrugs, was a character witness in the trial of convicted terror plotter Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman responsible for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Imam Adhami was recently appointed to head the proposed Cordoba House/Park 51mosque near the site of the World Trade Center after the previous mosque leader Imam Feisal A. Rauf became immersed in scandals over slumlord properties he owned in New Jersey. It should also be mentioned that the World Trade Center was destroyed in an attack by Islamic terrorists waging Jihad on America in the name of Allah on 9-11-2001.
As another web site, WorldNet Daily News, writes that "Imam Adhami claimed in a lecture he gave in 2008 that Muslims have "more of a right" than Jews to the biblical prophet Moses, declared the Imam who has become the new face of the proposed Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero in New York City."
False prophets and charlatans are never deterred by facts when they are boasting about undeserved claims to glory. Before the birth of Jesus Christ there were no Christians but there were Jews, Hebrews and Israelites. The Isrealites existed as long ago as 1350 years before Christ was born and during this time Moses was one of their first leaders. More importantly, in the context of this argument being advanced by some radical Muslims trying to rewrite history, what they fail to acknowledge is that before the death of their Prophet Mohammad in the year 632 A.D. there were also no Muslims because Mohammad started the religion of Islam, himself.
As a side note something must also be said about the reason we use the abbreviation "A.D." in our dates because of a concerted effort now underway to discontinue its use. The internationally accepted civil calendar that we now use is called the Gregorian Calendar. It replaced the Julian Calendar in order to correct erroneous elements that existed from the days of the Roman Empire. It was through the influence of Pope Gregory XIII in 1582, for whom the calendar is named, that gave us this more accurate present-day Gregorian calendar.
The effort to replace A.D. after our dates has already begun. "A.D." stands for the Latin term "Anno Domini" which means "In the year of our Lord" and begins on the year Christ was born. Several web sites, Wikipedia in particular, have started using the term "C.E." after dates which means "Common Era" and "B.C.E." for “Before Common Era” to eliminate the reference to Jesus Christ. This may be just another stupid example of trying to be politically correct or it may be an atheist plot to erase all recognition of religion from our culture. Either way it should be vigorously opposed. While it may be impossible for atheists to challenge the fact that the year 2011 A.D. is two-thousand and eleven years after the birth of Christ, they can, by repetition, divert the acknowledgment away from this fact.

Now some Muslims are trying to rewrite history while atheists attempt to eliminate religion.
