What’s going on? It sure doesn't look good.

Found this at Bare Naked Islam. Seems the reports are coming in from all over. I posted a few of these incidents here a few days ago but then word got out that it is happening in many more places. I've been wondering what possible reasons the Army has for all of these urban warfare exercises and I think there are a few that need to be given serious consideration.

1. Getting the American public used to seeing armed troops in our neighborhoods. When and if the time comes for rounding up those domestic terrorists who are defending their 2nd Amendment rights, our neighbors won't be too alarmed.
2. Playing a game of Chicken. You know the way two cars drove toward each other at high speed to see which driver veers away first? Well, maybe the intent here is to see which American will think they're coming for them and will begin shooting back with real bullets and thus provoking a live-fire exchange.
3. Ratting sabers. Typical tactic of a despot to perform a show of force to intimidate the civilian population. Helicopters buzzing overhead fire machine guns with blanks is rather scary.
4. Actual training for the military to give them some experience in a some future domestic warfare against the American people. What kinds of rioting could be anticipated following the collapse of our economy: food riots or gun confiscation for example.

What’s going on? 

The military has been setting up in quite a few cities lately and performing military training exercises in public streets and neighborhoods. Armed soldiers were seen walking down residential streets along with armored vehicles. An unusual amount of military training activity within the U.S. has been occurring over the past three months. Florida, Colorado, Maine, Missouri, Indiana, and Minnesota are some of the states experiencing these “military exercises.”
