Now, a second Democrat suggests postponing the 2012 elections!

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg was the first politician to suggest postponing the 2012 elections. Now the Democrat governor of North Carolina has come out with the same idea, for a different reason. Here is the story on Fox News. While North Carolina Governor Perdue doesn't mention the presidential elections next year, that seems to be just an afterthought. How could they suggest suspending part of the elections without postponing all of them?
North Carolina Governor Suggests Suspending Elections to Spur Economic Solutions

The solution to the nation's jobs crisis: suspend congressional elections?

That was the proposal put forward by North Carolina's governor, who was trying to make a point at a Rotary Club event that political considerations are hindering efforts in Washington to tackle unemployment and economic stagnation.

"I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover," Gov. Bev Perdue, a Democrat, said, according to a report by the Raleigh News & Observer. "You want people who don't worry about the next election."
Barack Hussein Obama is in deep trouble and the Democrats all know it. Obama has tried to get a few million illegal aliens eligible to vote with his amnesty program. The Democrats have written the book on how to steal an election (and have done so for decades) and none of that has guaranteed an Obama election victory next year. I made the prediction about more politicians calling for an outright suspension of the 2012 elections after reading Mayor Bloomberg's statement. Here is a repost of my September 17 blog:

NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg sets the stage for 2012.

The problem with NYC Mayor Bloomberg's prediction of riots in the streets, which WND linked to the NY Daily News story, Mayor Bloomberg predicts riots in the streets if economy doesn't create more jobs is that events such as that fall into the category of "Never let a crisis go to waste." And Barack Hussein Obama is an expert in handling these sort of things and turning them to his own advantage. I would not be surprised if Obama, realizing that his reelection chances were getting pretty slim, would make use of the mobs of starving, homeless people rioting in the streets to declare Martial Law and postpone the 2012 elections indefinitely out of a need for public safety. Obama is as slippery as a greased snake and about as trustworthy as one, too. Postponing a national election would be tantamount to tyranny and the American public would see that if it came as a surprise, so it is possible that Mayor Bloomberg is setting the stage with his prediction. If this is true, look for more warnings in future news stories.

  4. Hey, Woodburn, Well, I certainly hope you are right. There are an awful lot of Americans who would be very disappointed if they didn't get the chance to throw that traitor out of the White House.
