THE YOUNG TURN AGAINST OBAMACARE

Previously, we reported to you that our national polling showed that the under-30 voters were the strongest supporters of the Obama healthcare initiative. While seniors opposed it by almost 2-to-1 and voters 30-64 opposed it by five- to 10-point margins, the under-30 voters backed his program by 58-30.
So with the funds you have donated, we ran television advertisments and an Internet campaign aimed at young people focused in Arkansas, North Dakota and Maine. The results are incredible! Now under-30 voters are the strongest opponents of the plan. In the table below, we show you the vote on the Obama plan broken down by age. (We aggregated all three states so we would have enough interviews to make the age subsets statistically meaningful.)

The polling had predicted that the young would swing sharply and dramatically against the Obama program once they got the key information about it, but we are blown away by these results.
These data are from polls the League of American Voters commissioned John Zogby to conduct. Commenting on the results, John said, "These results among 18- to 29-year-olds are striking. It puts in jeopardy the whole theory of the new Democratic majority, because young people are essential to that base."

Boy, is he ever correct!

At the same time that we are seeing this big shift, the national data on ObamaCare continues to show slippage. Rasmussen shows support down to 38 percent (56 percent opposed) from 45-52 right after the House vote.

Will the Senate listen to public opinion? Damn right they will! At this rate, they would have to face the loss of their entire political base to pass this legislation. Politicians don't work that way! These early procedural votes don't mean much. As George W. Bush said in the war on terror, "We have to be right all the time. The enemy just has to get it right once." Now it is the opposite. We just need to win one vote to kill the plan. They need to win them all. And at this rate, the plan is in deep, deep trouble.

Obama bows again and again and again.

     

I don't recall the news media bringing this to our attention but on his trip to China this week Obama performed his traditional bow before the Chinese Premier. Of course the conservative blogs got a picture of this historic meeting so this was no big surprise. The surprise came when today's Cincinnati Enquirer carried an editorial cartoon (below) with the caption, "Good Grief now he's curtsying"

Just for the record, here is an actual photo of this greeting where President Zero bows to the almighty Chinese dictator. It has become absolutely sickening to watch this man show such a spineless posture before the heads of state of every country he visits. If there are any Democrats out there who voted for him who don't feel the same embarrassment as I do about how he portrays my country then they must hate America.

The odd thing about these bows to Muslim Kings, Japanese Emperors and Chinese Dictators is that Obama projects an image of a weak country with no strong leadership abroad but back home Obama seems to relish the thought of still being some sort of messiah and savior to the American people. Perhaps if Obama dispensed with his Olympic-sized ego and maybe bowed to Americans once in a while he might convince us that he knows what a public servant is all about, but I doubt that very much.

Islamic Terrorist Attacks in America

   

Think Fort Hood was just the second attack by ISLAMIC TERRORISTS on Americans since 1993? Think again. 1993 and 9/11 were neither the first nor the last time that Muslims have killed Americans on U.S. soil in terrorist attacks.

In fact, since that day, Muslims have killed at least 52 people in 31 separate acts of terrorism in the United States (by the standards that Muslim-American groups set for hate crimes). Perhaps more importantly, there have been quite a few planned mass murders of Americans by Islamic terrorists that were thwarted by the FBI, law enforcement and overseas intelligence operations both before and after 9/11.

By contrast, Muslim-Americans do not appear to be in any special danger from murderous (non-Muslim) religious fanatics, even in a nation awash in firearms. Identity groups, such as CAIR, whine incessantly about ‘backlash against Muslims’ while turning a blind eye to the horrible violence that is meted out daily in the name of their religion. This distasteful petulance offers insight not only into the character of Islam, but also the impressive religious tolerance that Americans manage to maintain.

A Detailed Explanation of the Video

On June 21st, I moderated a peaceful public debate between Mary Jo Sharp and Ehteshaam Gulam. After the debate, Nabeel, Mary Jo, and I went to the Dearborn Arab Festival, which had already become an open celebration of persecution against Christians. The festival organizers had declared that Christians could not distribute materials on the public sidewalks or street, and, when the matter was brought before the courts, the judge agreed that Christians could not freely distribute information during the festival. (Note: This decision has been defended in the media by claiming that the “no-distributing-materials” rule applied to everyone, and therefore wasn’t unfair to Christians. However, anyone who was at the festival knows that this is not true. People were walking up and down the sidewalks distributing pamphlets and brochures, right in front of security. The rule was only enforced against Christians, and therefore only the rights of Christians were violated.)

Muslim security guards (one of whom had “Hezbollah” tattooed down his forearm) took things a step further and wouldn’t even allow Christians to talk about their beliefs openly. Security guards also repeatedly entrapped Christians in an attempt to get us to violate the court order.

This even happened to me, despite the fact that I wasn’t talking to anyone about Christianity or Islam. I had a pamphlet in my front pocket, and one of the Muslim security guards walked up to me and said, “That looks like a really interesting pamphlet. Could I have it?” She even had her walkie-talkie in hand! Fortunately, I had already heard about this woman and other Muslim security guards doing this repeatedly at the festival, so I didn’t fall for it. That’s when Nabeel and Mary Jo entered the tent in an attempt to question a group of Muslims about a horribly inaccurate pamphlet they were distributing. What happened next may be outlined as follows:

• We see a booth that is specifically for answering questions people have about Islam.
  
• Nabeel walks up to the booth and attempts to ask a question.
  
• When the Muslims don’t want to talk on camera, Nabeel begins walking away.
  
• One of the Muslims (a former member of Tupac’s crew!) then invites Nabeel back for a dialogue.
  
• Security grabs our camera and forces MJ to turn it off. Security then breaks up the discussion, despite the fact that the Muslims at the booth agreed that we could record the conversation.
  
• We leave the tent and ask a police officer if we are free to record; he responds that we are in a public area and can record all we want. He also says that it is illegal for anyone to touch our cameras or force us to turn them off.
  
• We walk up to some non-Muslim security guards and ask if we can record a dialogue; they reply in the affirmative.
  
• Nabeel attempts to reestablish the discussion, but this time the Muslims at the booth don’t want to talk on camera.
  
• We leave the booth, and I see the woman who had grabbed the camera and forced MJ to turn it off. I begin recording the woman (in case we need to identify her later), at which point she gets on her walkie-talkie and informs her fellow Muslim security guards that we are harassing her.
  
• Following their pattern of entrapping Christians at the festival, the Muslim security guards convince two teenagers to strike up a conversation with Nabeel and snatch a pamphlet from his hand.
  
• While one of the teens distracts Nabeel with a conversation, the other snatches the pamphlet from Nabeel's hands.
  
• Within seconds we’re surrounded by a mob of Muslim security guards.
  
• The Muslim security force slaps our cameras, threatens us, shouts profanity at us, openly proclaims that our rights as Americans are meaningless, pushes us, kicks and tries to trip Nabeel, and lies to the police.
  
• The head of security then informs the police that we must be removed from the festival.
  

Fortunately, we got most of this on tape! See the video at the top.

Now think about this. We insisted on our Constitutional rights to (i) ask a question at a booth, and (ii) record in a public place. This was enough to get us banned from a public sidewalk in Dearborn, Michigan (the city with the highest percentage of Muslims in the U.S.). By comparison, the Muslim security guards openly harassed, intimidated, bullied, threatened, entrapped, and assaulted Christians; they openly proclaimed that they don’t care about our rights as American citizens; they used profanity as they insulted us; they lied to police. This behavior was perfectly welcome in Dearborn, even at a family festival! (There were other examples of open hatred as well.)

I have contacted the Arab Chamber of Commerce (the organization responsible for planning the festival, selecting the security team, and deciding that Christians are no longer free to distribute information in public places). I have asked for an apology and for their thoughts on how such horrendous treatment of Christians will be avoided in the future. They have not responded.

Going back to the time of Muhammad, whenever the population of Muslims becomes significant, followers of other religions are suppressed, and the proclamation of non-Muslim beliefs is forbidden. This second-class status for non-Muslims is prescribed by Sharia, and the victims are called "dhimmis." Welcome to Sharia in the United States, my friends.

Watching that video, I feel absolutely sick to my stomach. I knew there was talk about establishing Sharia courts in America just like in the UK (I've almost finished my research paper on the idea of a Westernized sharia and its incompatibility with the Constitution), but I had no idea that "Islamization" is actually happening in these kinds of areas. I hope that the police saw the video, because security blatantly assaulted you and they had no grounds to do that. It's hard to imagine freedom of speech being indispensable, but evidently, it's happening; sadly, the idea of "trans-nationalism" as a way to interpret the Constitution is a major contributing factor. It seems undeniable that Muslims in America do get preferential treatment while Christians, Jews, etc. are consistently demonized and thrown under the bus, yet it's something that most don't acknowledge. Honestly? I fear being a Christian in America right now. But that's not going to prevent me from speaking out. Good for all of you who spoke out and maintained your innocence throughout this strange ordeal. I, for one, would not want to be the dhimmi either! :P

Islam strives for world domination but has any moslem ever thought a bit deeper and figured out what that would mean for the human race and the world? - all Jews on this world will be exterminated, not only the ones in Israel. - the same fate will be for all dogs, pigs and any other unclean animals. - freedom of speech is gone. - critics of islam are put to death - Christians are forced to convert. - apostates from islam are killed. - lives of Christians that do not convert will be made miserable. - moslems can have slaves again... Christians. - all other religions and atheist must convert or loose their head. - homosexuals will be hung or thrown from a tall building. - the history of the world will be re-written in islamic friendly terms. - women will be taken out of the work force. - child rape is permissable - thieves will lose their hand. - adultres women will be stoned. - women will be forced to give birth to as many children as they can. - women can be beaten again. - all women need to wear their penguin suit. - women and girls are not allowed to go to school. - all western literature will be destroyed. - libraries will be destroyed. - technical, medical and science subjects on schools will be banned because these contradict with the quran. - society will get a shortage of doctors, engineers and technicians. - hospitals run out of doctors and nurses. - no more medicines, camel urine is in high demand. - no more inoculation against diseases. - diseases that were eradicated are back. - the average life span drops from 80 years to End of 19th Century levels, about 37 years. - factories run out of people that can run the processes. - factories, refineries and utility plants run unsafe and need to be closed. - the western industrial system collapses. - you don't want to know what the unemployment rate is. - no more electricity. - no more gasoline or any other fuels. - no more telephone, TV, radio and Internet. - cars, trains, ships, planes and agricultural equipment can not be built anymore. - fertilizers and pesticides are not produced anymore. - farm land needs to be cultivated by hand. - there are not enough Christan slaves to do the manual work in the fields. - the quran does not give instructions to the moslems on how to grow food or work the land. - the farmers can not even produce one tenth of what is produced currently. - enormous famine will occur. - all domestic and wild animals will be slaughtered for food - people will fight and kill each other for food. - Christians will be in the minority and will be murdered first. - human population will shrink to levels before the industrial revolution, about 500 million. - for ages to come, the whole world will resemble current Somalia and Sudan. - although moslims are misguided in thinking that they will go to heaven, they shucky darn won't. - only islam is known to the world therefore nobody will go to heaven anymore. - the world has been made in a living hell. - separation between good and evil has occurred. I wonder, why didn't allah foresee this? Or maybe he did... In the end the choice is to the American people, expell moslims from your lands or eventually face the above mentioned consequences. Meanwhile, a survey by the Pew Forum reported in 2007 that 26 percent of American Muslims under age 30 think suicide bomb attacks are justified.

Present day Muslim population in Europe is 50-million.

What happens when Islam takes root in an American city? Dearborn, Michigan, where some 30 percent of the city’s 98,000 residents are Muslim, may offer a clue. The Muslim call to prayer can be heard on Dearborn streets where many billboards, street, and storefront signs are in Arabic. Grocers stock "halal" food items prepared in adherence to Islamic rules. In 2004, some Muslim residents of Dearborn held an anti-American, anti-Israel demonstration in which pictures of the late Iranian revolutionary leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini were displayed.

A year later, the local public high school is estimated to be 80 percent Muslim.

    Every Muslim is not a terrorist, but every terrorist is a Muslim.

When I first started writing for WorldNetDaily, almost three years ago, I wrote "Is Islam compatible with a republic?" My thesis then was to use the Constitution, reason, history and philosophy out of the Judeo-Christian traditions of intellectual thought, including Natural Law, to state authoritatively why Islam is not compatible with a republic. Why? Because Islam contains none of the essential components of what philosopher Booker T. Washington called the "fundamentals of civilization."

What are some of the fundamentals of civilization?

    * Belief in God (the moon god, Allah, is a very different entity);
    * veneration of the intrinsic value of all life;
    * the rule of law;
    * A written constitution based on truth, equity, liberty and morality;
    * laws that don't discriminate based on race, creed, wealth, gender or national origin;
    * Freedom of religion.

These are just a few of the fundamentals of civilization Islam under Shariah law has no conception of and utter contempt for.

Islam is not compatible with a republic.

Last Monday I drove down to Columbus, Ohio, to attend a rally for the 17-year-old Christian convert, Rifqa Bary, who was tricked to come back from Florida where she had fled in mortal fear. She returned to her native Ohio to attend a juvenile court hearing that may force her to move back with her family, who are devout Muslims from Sri Lanka. Rifqa fears that her father will perform an honor killing upon her for "blasphemy against Islam" because of her conversion to Christianity.

Brigitte Gabriel combats politically correct notions about the "religion of peace" in "They Must be Stopped: Why We Must Defeat Radical Islam and How we Can Do It"

The event was organized by my friend, Florida radio host and publisher Pamela Geller. One of the speakers, Nonie Darwish, also a Christian convert from Islam, made this profound statement:

This [Islam] is not religion. It has nothing to do with religion. Religion is a relationship with God. ... Islam is a relationship with the State. Islam is a one-party, totalitarian system. It's a one-party State that will not allow you to speak. And it will kill anybody who challenges or questions.

Islam is not compatible with a republic.

Last Tuesday the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ordered Lynne Stewart, a convicted terror-coddling civil-rights lawyer, to begin serving her prison sentence.

Stewart, 69, was convicted over four years ago, in February 2005, of conspiracy and providing and concealing material support of terrorism for her actions in smuggling messages from "blind sheik" Omar Abdel-Rahman to his followers in the Islamic terror group Gama'a al-Islamiyya.

As irony would have it, last week President Obama and his attorney general, Eric Holder, brought five terrorists from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to be tried in a criminal court in New York. This act is tantamount to treason and is essentially overturning 230 years of American constitutional law and over 400 years of common-law traditions by permitting enemy combatants caught on foreign territory waging war against American soldiers to have full constitutional rights rather than being speedily tried by a military tribunal.

Last year I wrote a book, "The Nuremberg Trials: Last Tragedy of the Holocaust," on this very issue of coddling extreme war criminals and clogging up our criminal courts with people as irredeemably wicked as the Nazis, who, after World War II, should have all been tried by a military (not an international) tribunal and summarily hanged in the public square as a lesson to future would-be dictators that the civilized world means business.

They didn't. Instead, in November 1945 the civilized world at the Nuremberg Trials miserably failed to dispense swift, comprehensive justice against Hitler's Nazis. Now, their anti-Semitic allies then and now, the Muslims, seek to finish what Hitler started.

Obama and Holder's decision to bring these religious fanatics to New York is an insane policy that no constitutional lawyer worth his salt could tolerate, but instead of a unified front against this double-crossing policy from the American Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers Association and the ACLU, all I hear is the sound of shekels jingling in moneybag of Judas as legions of shyster lawyers from NYU, Columbia and Harvard are lining up to become the next Lynne Stewart – the next traitorous terrorist lawyer who will get 24/7 media coverage and a king's ransom for defending these murderers.

Islam is not compatible with a republic.

The Obama administration at every opportunity is bending over frontwards and backwards to convince the world that America is a nice country since GWB left office and Obama is in charge. Conversely, this Neville Chamberlain policy of appeasement has only demonstrated to the world our societal decadence, our duplicity and our utter lack of moral resolve to fight an avowed enemy like radical Islam with the same passion and merciless tactics they have leveled against the civilized world.

As Nonie Darwish said, Islam is a totalitarian political ideology feigning as a religion; indeed, Islam is anti-religion. It has no belief in a God of love, but in Allah, the pagan moon god that predates the prophet Muhammad and the Quran. Islam has no respect for the intrinsic value of all life, but is a cult of death that celebrates death by promoting homicide bombers and "killing the infidel where you find him."

America's republic respects a written Constitution based on God, Natural Law, liberty and truth; therefore, truly just laws should not discriminate based on race, creed, gender or wealth (within biblical traditions, of course). However, Shariah law under Islam openly discriminates against others based on every conceivable difference. In other words, according to the Quran, everyone not a Muslim is considered a second-class citizen or worse, can be abused, sold into slavery or even summarily killed. The Quran commands: "A Muslim must not enslave another Muslim but is free to do so with a non-Muslim."

And that's why, in my opinion, Islam is not compatible with a republic.

Update on Pink Slips sent to Congress - now more than 7 million

   

If you ever wondered about the power of the press to affect public opinion here is a perfect example. Four days ago a group promoting a campaign to Take Back America announced in Washington, D.C. their mailing program to deliver Pink Slips to every member of the Senate and House of Representatives to warn them that they work for the American taxpayer had successfully delivered 5-million Pink Slips. That total breaks down to a stack of Pink Slips over 5-feet tall for every lawmaker. The press conference was held on the steps of the Capitol building and was covered by several news media stations.

After the word got into the newspapers and on TV, the public interest in this campaign has resulted in an additional 2-million Pink Slips being ordered for delivery in just three days. That means there have been over 7-million Pink Slips either delivered or on their way.

The mainstream news media had largely ignored this campaign during the first 5 weeks since it began and only word of mouth and a few conservative blogs managed to get the news out. But in three days after the story became public the campaign exploded.

Organizers of 'pink slip' protest claim 5 million sent to Congress

Washington (CNN) -- Voters disappointed over health care and other legislative efforts have now sent 5 million "pink slips" to members of Congress, the conservative Web site WorldNetDaily said Tuesday.

Several Republican lawmakers joined WorldNetDaily figures to endorse the campaign Tuesday on Capitol Hill.

"These pink slips are a call for fiscally responsible and constitutionally responsible Americans," said Rep. Steve King of Iowa.

A pink slip is symbolic of job dismissal, a theme not lost on Rep. Trent Franks, R-Arizona, who said members need to vote the will of the people or be fired in the next election.

How to win friends and influence people with bribes.

    

The U.S. Senate is scheduled to begin debate over the Obama socialized medicine bill next week after the Senate barely passed a measure to avoid a Republican led filibuster. As details emerge it appears the politicians are using an old and established method of acquiring support and endorsements: Bribery.

ABC News reported that Sen. Mary Landrieu of Louisiana held off her support for the Health Care Bill until she got a kickback from the Obama administration. Landrieu announced her support for the procedural motion today and she defended her role in securing a provision in the bill that provides states that have suffered extreme natural disasters extra help in paying for its share of Medicaid services.

Her state, after Hurricane Katrina, is the only one that would currently qualify for the extra help.

But Landrieu, far from distancing herself from it, said it is her job as a Louisiana senator to secure federal money for Louisiana. Further, she said the provision will benefit Louisiana with $300 million, not the $100 million estimated by CBO.

As the suicidal Democratic congressmen proceed to rubber-stamp the Obama healthcare reform despite the drubbing their party took in the '09   elections, the president trotted out the endorsements of the AMA and the AARP to stimulate support. But these -- and the other endorsements -- his package has received are all bought and paid for.
 
  Here are the deals: 

  * The American Medical Association (AMA) was facing a 21 percent cut in physicians' reimbursements under the current law. Obama promised to kill the cut if they backed his bill. The cuts are the fruit of a law requiring annual 5-6 percent reductions in doctor reimbursements for treating Medicare patients. Bravely, each year Congress has rolled the cuts over, suspending them but not repealing them. So each year, the accumulated cuts threaten doctors. By now, they have risen to 21 percent. With this blackmail everage, Obama compelled the AMA to support his bill...or else!

  * The AARP got a financial windfall in return for its support of the healthcare bill. Over the past decade, the AARP has morphed from an advocacy group to an insurance company (through its subsidiary company). It is one of the main suppliers of Medi-gap insurance, a high-cost, privately purchased coverage that picks up where Medicare leaves off. But President Bush-43 passed the Medicare Advantage program, which offered a subsidized, lower-cost alternative to Medi-gap. Under Medicare Advantage, the elderly get all the extra coverage they need plus coordinated, well-managed care, usually by the same physician. So more than 10 million seniors went with Medicare Advantage, cutting into AARP Medi-gap revenues.

Presto! Obama solved their problem. He eliminates subsidies for Medicare Advantage. The elderly will have to pay more for coverage under Medigap, but the AARP -- which supposedly represents them -- will make more money. According to a report released today by The Associated Press:  "About 60,000 senior citizens have quit AARP since July 1 due to the group's support for a health care overhaul, a spokesman for the organization said Monday.

The membership loss suggests dissatisfaction on the part of AARP members at a time when many senior citizens are concerned about proposed cuts to Medicare providers to help pay for making health care available for all. But spokesman Drew Nannis said it wasn't unusual for the powerful, 40 million-strong senior citizens' lobby to shed members in droves when it's advocating on a controversial issue... The approximately 60,000 number represents members who specifically cited AARP's stance on the health overhaul debate in canceling their membership between July 1 and mid-August, Nannis said."

  * The drug industry backed ObamaCare and, in return, got a 10-year limit of $80 billion on cuts in prescription drug costs. (A drop in the bucket of their almost $3 trillion projected cost over the next decade.) They also got administration assurances that it will continue to bar lower-cost   Canadian drugs from coming into the U.S. All it had to do was put its formidable advertising budget at the disposal of the administration.

  * Insurance companies got access to 40 million potential new customers. But when the Senate Finance Committee lowered the fine that would be imposed on those who don't buy insurance from $3,500 to $1,500, the insurance companies jumped ship and now oppose the bill, albeit for the worst of motives.

The only industry that refused to knuckle under was the medical device makers. They stood for principle and wouldn't go along with Obama's blackmail. So the Senate Finance Committee retaliated by imposing a tax on medical devices such as automated wheelchairs, pacemakers, arterial stents, prosthetic limbs, artificial knees and hips and other necessary accouterments of healthcare.

So these endorsements are not freely given, but bought and paid for by an  administration that is intent on passing its program at any cost.

When 2nd Lt. James Cathey's body arrived at the Reno Airport , Marines climbed into the cargo hold of the plane and draped the flag over his casket as passengers watched the family gather on the tarmac.

During the arrival of another Marine's casket last year at Denver International Airport , Major Steve Beck described the scene as so powerful: 'See the people in the windows? They sat right there in the plane, watching those Marines. You gotta wonder what's going through their minds, knowing that they're on the plane that brought him home,' he said 'They will remember being on that plane for the rest of their lives. They're going to remember bringing that Marine home. And they should.'

The night before the burial of her husband's body, Katherine Cathey refused to leave the casket, asking to sleep next to his body for the last time The Marines made a bed for her, tucking in the sheets below the flag. Before she fell asleep, she opened her laptop computer and played songs that reminded her of 'Cat,' and one of the Marines asked if she wanted them to continue standing watch as she slept. 'I think it would be kind of nice if you kept doing it,' she said. 'I think that's what he would have wanted'

Mary McHugh, the fiancé of a James Regan, moved a thousand mourners to tears with her touching tribute at his funeral.  “Jimmy was a hero to many, but he was always very humble,” she said of her beloved.  “He always sought team success and not personal glory.”
 
Regan was to marry McHugh, a medical student at Emory University, when his Army service ended.  He was killed in February 2007 by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
 
“Jimmy and I were so excited to stand up in front of God, our family and friends and declare our love for each other,” McHugh said.  ”Only God knows why we were deprived of that opportunity, but it doesn’t change the sentiments I have.”
 
Regan, an All-American lacrosse player and All-State football scholar at Chaminade High School in Mineola, graduated from Duke University five years ago.  He was deeply affected by the 9/11 terror attacks, which claimed many lives in Manhasset, and turned down a position at financial services firm UBS and deferred a scholarship to Southern Methodist University Law School to join the Army in 2004.  He had earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.
 
After reading a love letter Regan wrote to her, McHugh said in a passionate whisper, “Jimmy, we never got to wake up next to each other every morning.  Jimmy, I will wake up every morning and thank God for the opportunity to love and be loved by you.”
 
McHugh remembered Regan as someone who always wore a smile and “simply wanted to be happy and make others around him happy.” Regan’s father, also named James, said his son did just that.
 
“Last week in Iraq the bell tolled for Jimbo and he gave the ultimate sacrifice,” the grieving father said. “You have done your duty, son, as you saw it.  You are a wonderful son.”

The above photo has been the source of some controversy.  There are some forces that would like to suppress its publication.  Some feel that publicizing honest images, such as this one, conveying the gravity of our losses, serves to undermine the war efforts in Iraq. 
 
Forgive me, because I do not have an articulate stance on the war in Iraq.  The conflicts there are beyond my reasoning and aptitudes to solve.  I do believe in more aggressively pursuing non-violent solutions to violent problems. 
 
I believe censorship of honest information about the war will not help Americans make more informed decisions about the reality of the violence and the severity of our losses.  This blog focuses on mature, complex and real issues deserving more candor, attention, discussion, and merit.  My deepest and sincerest condolences to the family, friends, and fiancé of James Regan.

The above photo is an important human document.  In a moment, it clearly communicates undeniable and compelling love.  It will be important 100 years from now.  If a similar Civil War photo existed of a woman at the grave of her fiancé, it would be immeasurably valuable to our cultural experience.  If a similar WW II photo existed of a German widow at her deceased husband’s grave, the artwork would be a timeless and important image about the realities of war and universality of grief.

Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing blue every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the 'silent majority' We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing.

Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -- and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something blue. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of blue much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in BLUE and it will let our troops know the once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on. The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make things better for you?' is, 'We need your support and your prayers.' Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something blue every Friday.

What is Islam?

What is Islam? The best way to explain what is Islam is to explain what it isn’t. Islam is not peace. Islam by the definition of its own name is submission and surrender. That is what conquered people experience when overcome by an invading army. Islam is not peace and it does not espouse peace. Islam almost perfectly fits the definition I heard a long time ago of what peace means to a communist: peace to a communist is the absence of resistance to communism. A doctor in Ann Arbor, Michigan named Emmanuel Tanay has written an excellent essay on what a German’s view of Islam is. This is one of the best explanations of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is Dr. Emanuel Tanay, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist.

A German's View on Islam

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'

We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.
The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.

And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:
Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.
Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts -- the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passiveness that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and send it on - before it's too late.

Muslims obtain their views on Islam following the words of their Prophet Mohammed by reading the Quran or Koran. The Quran, touted to be the Islamic equivalent to the Christian Bible, is actually a field manual for warfare with instructions by the prophet Mohammed on how his army should wage battle. Here is an interpretation of The Meaning of the Holy Quran written by Abdullah Yusaf Ali. It is more than frightening to imagine this is happening throughout the United States of America every day in 1200 Mosques.

Islam - Terrorism, Inc. - Part II

One of the greatest concerns of all civilized cultures is the alarming incidence of violent crimes in today's world. Many governments of the world are analyzing the suitability of violence in movies, books and TV programs for younger audiences. In countries like the USA, even Music CDs are labelled with warnings if they contain violent content in them. Parents and administrators have come together and made many laws to protect their children from the growing trend of violent crime. It has been scientifically proven that prolonged exposure to intensely violent scenes and literature impacts children in a very adverse way. The Criminal Justice System admits, that most convicted criminals who have committed extremely violent crimes against society, were subjected to some form of violent propaganda or behavior in their childhood and/or adolescence.

Muslims all over the world have been known to point their fingers at Western society and comment on how degenerate westerners have no sense of family, and that as a consequence, crime, immorality and violence are rampant all over the West. The implication is that Western society is ridden with the consequences of their "decadent and immoral" liberality and irreligious attitude.

The truth is something completely different. The fact is that the highest incidences of violent crimes such as murder, rape, child molestation, dismemberment and armed robbery happen in Islamic countries. In Non-Islamic countries, wherever terrorist and subversive activities take place, one is sure to find the presence of Muslims.

This pattern is so obvious that it leads one to wonder what exactly is it that makes Muslims so viciously engaged in violent crimes against the rest of humanity. Why are all terrorist activities that target innocent Non-Muslim victims always abetted by Muslim terrorists? What is it that makes the Muslim mind so subject to criminality and the display of such violent tendencies right from his/her childhood days?

The answer lies in the systematic brainwashing that Muslims are subjected to since birth. The majority of the Non-Islamic world has deluded itself into believing that the principles of Islam are tolerant in nature. This misconception is heightened when people think that the fault lies with only a handful of misguided Muslims who are not adhering to Islamic principles and hence indulge in terrorism. It is time for the entire world to realise that Islam by its very nature and through its essential principles openly supports, encourages and propogates Terrorism of the worst kind. Therefore the Islamic terrorist is in fact the most devout Muslim, because he is following exactly what Islam teaches through the Divine Koran. It is this very Koran which is considered by Muslims to be the holy word of their Allah himself. The Koran functions as the central terrorist manual that urges them to slaughter, rape, torture,pillage, mutilate and molest all Non-Muslims.

The Muslim is exhorted by their GOD to kill, mutilate, molest, rape and steal. This repetitive conditioning of the mind is performed by indoctrinating the Koranic Surahs in every Muslim child at Madarsas (Islamic schools). The Muslim child daily memorizes the Koranic Surahs which exhort him/her to murder, violence, hatred and crime against every Non-Muslim. The Muslim child learns to hate Non-Muslims, before he loses his first tooth. The doctrines that are forced down his throat are so deeply embedded in the child's mind, that he cannot view the world in any other perspective except as a composition of Muslims and Kafirs (Infidel). It is also made clear to the child that ALL Kafirs (Non-Muslims) are evil by their very nature and that it is every Muslim's moral and religious duty to either convert all the Kafirs to Islam by force or Kill each and every one of them.

Imagine being forced to watch the most violent scenes imaginable, day in and day out throughout your childhood and then being told by your elders that all that violence is Allah's will. Imagine being told that to be a good Muslim, you MUST commit the same violent and heinous actions as the barbaric Prophet Mohammed or else be prepared to be damned and go to hell for not performing your religious duty. Is it any wonder that in every corner of the world, terrorism is synonomous with Islam ? Any Muslim child or adult who dares to question the criminal and violent nature of the acts sanctioned by Allah and perpetrated by Mohammed, is threatened with the direst consequences. Any Muslim daring to question the authority of the Koran is immediately silenced by force. Therefore it is hardly surprising that all Muslims grow up to become direct or indirect supporters of Terrorism and Violent Crime against Non-Muslims (And many times against other Muslims as well). Intolerance, Hatred, Violence, Fundamentalism, Fascism and Ignorance are inculcated into every Muslim's child's head before he can even pronounce the alphabet.

To get an idea of what kind of conditioning the Muslim mind undergoes, one need only open the Koran. Every chapter is brimming over with hatred, ruthlessness, cruelty and the sort of invective that would make the Ku Klux Klan shake in their shoes. Since the verses espousing violence in the Koran are so numerous, I can only quote a few of the most horrifying ones at a time. The exceptionally cruel, sadistic and violent nature of Mohammed's motivations and Allah's inspirations spill out through every Verse in the Koran. I will let the words speak for themselves:

Examples of Koranic translations:

(Koran 8:12) "Remember Thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, Smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger tips of them." 

(Koran 47:4) "When you meet the unbelievers in the Jihad strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly. Then grant them their freedom or take ransom from them, until War shall lay down her burdens" 

In the above verses, Mohammed is giving detailed instruction about how to maim and torture unbelievers in Jihad. And finally when the Muslims are satisfied enough after torturing and maiming the unbelievers, they should proceed to demand ransom for the captives. All for the sake for all-merciful Allah !!

It is answered this way: "The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers.  Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding.  Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

As shown above in the Quran there are scores of passages that refer to grotesque forms of torture and killing while very few passages mention peace and love. It should be further noted that the most common argument used to defend the wording in the Quran is to compare it to the violence contained in the Christian Holy Bible. The references to violence in the Holy Bible are all in the Old Testament and none appear in the New Testament written after the birth of Jesus Christ.

On a discussion about the violence preached in Mosques a question was asked about the lack of public denouncement by Muslims who object to the radical teachings of certain Imans or clerics. One anonymous reader answered with the brief statement: "Because they are afraid."

As reported in Newsmax by Ronald Kessler, "The problem is the radical element that uses the Quran as an excuse to engage in terrorism and the failure of many moderate Muslims to condemn the extremists. Imams preach jihad (Holy War) and extremism in 10 percent of the 2,000 mosques in the United States, the FBI estimates." 

"Saying he is being conservative, an FBI counterterrorism official told me in interviews for the book that 1 in 10 imams preach jihad. Before 9/11, the number of mosques where imams preached jihad was even greater than today. Those who actively support extremist causes, say America is evil and deserves what it gets, and celebrate the death of soldiers, know they may come to our attention,” an FBI official says. “So they don’t do it as openly now.”

 Not exactly a religion of love and peace.
