From the time the Pilgrims arrived on American soil, faith in God played an important part in shaping our nation. Images of Moses adorn the Supreme Court in recognition of the Judeo-Christian origin of our laws. But it was Taxes, loss of Liberty and oppression from a mad king that led our Founding Fathers to write The Declaration of Independence and start The American Revolution. Today, those who stand for these ideals no longer call themselves The Silent Majority because we are silent no more.
This story came out today that contains a fair amount of details but failed to connect the dots. What seems relevant to the historical facts is that almost all terrorist attacks, both planned and executed in America, have been committed by Muslims. Here are two paragraphs from the Associated Press story worth mentioning:
WASHINGTON (AP) - More than half of Muslim Americans in a new poll say government anti-terrorism policies single them out for increased surveillance and monitoring, and many report increased cases of name-calling, threats and harassment by airport security, law enforcement officers and others.
Regarding possible terror risks, about 21 percent of Muslim Americans say there is "a great deal" or "a fair amount" of support for extremism in their communities, according to the Pew survey.
Regarding that Pew survey that revealed 21 percent of Muslim Americans “say there is "a great deal" or "a fair amount" of support for extremism in their communities”, with an estimated 2.75 million Muslims in America, that means we have over half a million Muslim terrorist sympathizers living here. And yet, this story continues to give a platform to CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, without mentioning that the U.S. Dept. of Justice identified CAIR, as one of a group of Muslim organizations, as unindicted co-conspirators in the Hamas terrorist funding Holy Land Foundation trial in Dallas, Texas.
On a ancillary note, Archbishop Dennis Schnurr of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati was criticized by the Cincinnati Enquirer for ordering Mother of Mercy High School to cancel a Muslim Ramadan Iftar dinner. The Enquirer has recently been giving wide exposure to both CAIR and some Muslim residents who voiced concern over negative feelings in the tri-state for their religion. The Enquirer ran a lengthy editorial that even dragged in some quotes by Rev. Martin Luther King to justify diversity towards Muslims. Never once did the Enquirer mention anything about the Holy Land Foundation terror funding
trial or that CAIR was identified by the U.S. Department of Justice as an
unindicted co-conspirator. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was founded by
members of the Muslim Brotherhood, the parent organization of several terror groups, to be its mouthpiece in the United
States.
For the record, the animosity is not being aimed at Muslims but at the Islamic religion they follow that preaches absolute intolerance toward all other religions. The source of this intolerance comes directly from the Koran itself which commands Muslims to not take unbelievers as friends and warns Muslims that they will become Apostates if they do. And the suspicions against mosques being recruiting places for terrorists is also well founded because a majority of mosques in America are built with finances from the Saudi Arabian government which requires them to include Wahhabi literature that condemns all Western Civilization and man-made governments.
A piece of literature came in the mail a few days ago that was addressed to me because they thought I was a Muslim because of my name. It came from a group calling itself the Muslim Legal Fund of America (MLFA) asking for a tax-exempt donation to a legal defense fund to pay for lawyers defending Muslims accused of acts of terrorism. We all read those politically correct, sanitized news stories about people arrested for attempting to commit mass murder to kill Americans that always omit the fact that the accused were Muslims or that they were motivated by commands found in the Qur’an. The news has been sanitized to keep Americans ignorant so that we don’t form negative opinions. Like when the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is frequently used as a reference source for positive Muslim propaganda. The news media never mentions the fact that CAIR was identified as an unindicted co-conspirator in a Federal Court in Dallas, Texas in 2008 in a trial that convicted the Holy Land Foundation for raising funds to support the Hamas terrorist group, or that CAIR has lost its tax-exempt status for failing provide the IRS with the names and amounts of its funding.
As recently as last week The Detroit Free Press reported that Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, a Muslim from Nigeria, sent a handwritten note to the court claiming that he broke no law and should only be judged by the Islamic Sharia Law in the Qur'an which decrees that killing non-Muslims is not a crime. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab is on trial for attempting to murder 279 passengers and 11 crew members on a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas Day 2009 by igniting a bomb hidden in his underwear. Granted, he is considered innocent until proven guilty, but he was caught in the act with his smoking underpants in his hand. As usual, the leftist mainstream news media didn’t give the latest details in this case much coverage.
Now it appears that it isn’t just non-Muslim Americans that are being kept in the dark about these acts of Islamic terrorism, it seems that many Muslims are being told the same thing. Islam commands Muslims to lie to non-Muslims and the practice is called Taqiyya.
Taqiyya – the command to lie to non-Muslims.
Muslims are allowed to deceive non-Muslims if it helps Islam. For non-Muslims this principle, called Taqiyya is another surprising concept of Islam. While most other religions speak highly of truthfulness the Qur’an instructs Muslims to lie to non-Muslims about their beliefs and their political ambitions to protect and spread Islam. There are many examples of today’s Islamic leaders saying one thing in English for the Western press and then saying something entirely different to their own followers in Arabic a few days later. Deceiving the enemy is always useful in war and Islam is at war with the non-Islamic world until the whole world follows Shari’a Law. All non-Muslims living in non-Islamic states are therefore enemies. So deceiving Westerners is totally acceptable – even encouraged – if it can forward the goals of the spread of Islam.

On his facebook page Imam Foad Farahi writes that he is a fan of radical hate clerics Yusuf Al Qaradawi ,Tariq Al Suweidan and bin Laden protege Ahmed Deedat. He was slated for deportation and classified as a Level 3 threat. Farahi is fighting to stay in the United States and claim asylum. The Muslim American Society (MAS) The American wing of the Muslim Brotherhood is in the forefront of providing Farahi with legal aid and keeping his case in the public eye.
"It [MAS] is the de facto arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.," said Steven Emerson, director of the Investigative Project on Terrorism. "The agenda of the MAS is to ... impose Islamic law in the U.S., to undermine U.S. counterterrorism policy."
The MAS was founded by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, an international Islamist movement created in Egypt in 1928. Radical members of the Brotherhood founded the terror group Hamas and were among the first members of Al Qaeda.

Following a 10-year investigation, Dr. Sami Al-Arian and co-defendant Sammeeh Hammoudeh were arrested in the predawn hours of Feb. 20, 2003 and charged with providing material support to a terrorist group—the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. One month later (March 27), the men were moved from the local jail in Tampa, Florida, to a maximum-security federal penitentiary in Coleman, Florida, 75 miles away, where they spent over two and a half years in horrendous conditions awaiting trial. Prior to his arrest, Sami Al-Arian, a Palestinian, had been an outspoken voice for the Palestinian cause, but now he was silenced.
The trial began on June 6, 2005, and ended six months later. On all of the many charges, not a single guilty verdict was reached. Jurors were deadlocked on nine charges, but they unanimously agreed that Dr. Al-Arian was innocent of any connection to violence—either direct or indirect. Dr. Aafia Siddiqui MLFA: “Pakistani mother of three kidnapped, tortured, shot and then tried in New York for allegedly attacking her interrogators in Afghanistan.”

Aafia Siddiqui born March 2, 1972) is an American-educated Pakistani cognitive neuroscientist who was convicted of assault with intent to murder her U.S. interrogators in Afghanistan. The charges carried a maximum sentence of life in prison; in September 2010, she was sentenced by a United States district court to 86 years in prison.
Siddiqui entered the United States on a student visa in 1990. Staying for both undergraduate and graduate education, she eventually settled in Massachusetts and earned her PhD in neuroscience from Brandeis University in 2001. A devout Muslim who had engaged in Islamic charity work, Siddiqui moved back to Pakistan in 2002. She disappeared with her three young children in March 2003, shortly after the arrest in Pakistan of her second husband's uncle, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged chief planner of the September 11 attacks. Khalid Mohammed reportedly mentioned Siddiqui's name while he was being interrogated, and shortly thereafter, she was added to the FBI Seeking Information – War on Terrorism list. In May 2004, the FBI named Siddiqui as one of its seven Most Wanted Terrorists. Her whereabouts were reported to have been unknown for more than five years, until she was arrested in July 2008 in Afghanistan. Upon her arrest, the Afghan police said she was carrying in her purse handwritten notes and a computer thumb drive containing recipes for conventional bombs and weapons of mass destruction, instructions on how to make machines to shoot down U.S. drones, descriptions of New York City landmarks with references to a mass casualty attack, and two pounds of sodium cyanide in a glass jar.
Siddiqui was shot and severely wounded at the police compound the following day. Her American interrogators said she grabbed an unattended rifle from behind a curtain and began shooting at them. Siddiqui’s own version was that she simply stood up to see who was on the other side of the curtain and startled the soldiers one of whom then shot her. She received medical attention for her wounds at Bagram Air Base and was flown to the U.S. to be charged in a New York City federal court with attempted murder, and armed assault on U.S. officers and employees. She denied the charges. After receiving psychological evaluations and therapy, the judge declared her mentally fit to stand trial. Siddiqui interrupted the trial proceedings with vocal outbursts and was ejected from the courtroom several times. The jury convicted her of all the charges in February 2010. The prosecution argued for "terrorism enhancement" of the charges that would require a life term; Siddiqui's lawyers requested a 12-year sentence, arguing that she was mentally ill. The charges against her stemmed solely from the shooting, and Siddiqui was not charged with, or prosecuted for, any terrorism-related offenses.
One more comment on the above literature from MLFA asking for donations concerns a statement printed in the lower right corner of the large picture. Here is an enlargement. Besides being tax-deductible (which means their donations are subsidized by our taxes) is the mention that the donations are "zakat-eligible". Zakat is an obligatory charitable contribution that represents a percentage of the net worth of every Muslim that they are required to give each year during Ramadan. Some of these donations supposedly to be used for charitable purposes are actually funneled to the Middle East to support terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. And the appeal by the Muslim Legal Fund of America is nothing more than an attempt to use the Muslim population's faith-based charity concept to raise money to defend terrorists in America. So in addition to terrorists yelling "Allahu Akbar" (God is Great in Arabic) when they kill people, other equally devout Muslims can feel more pious when they donate to MLFA to defend them.
The Detroit Free Press has the story but if and when the rest of the news media covers this story and applies their politically correct rules, there won't be any mention of Muslim, Sharia or the Qur'an, so readers won't hold any negative opinions. The so-called underwear bomber charged with trying to blow up a
Detroit-bound airliner is arguing for his prison release, claiming
wrongful imprisonment by the American government.
In a handwritten court
document filed today, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 24, asked the court to
release him from prison, arguing that "all Muslims should only be ruled
by the law of the Quran."
"The defendant is being unjustly detained in the Unites States of
American, and subjected to the Rule of Man," wrote Abdulmutallab, adding
he should "only be judged and ruled by the law of the Quran."
In a separate, handwritten court filing, the Nigerian national also
wrote that "excessive force" was used to restrain him on Wednesday while
he was in his closed cell, during the "holy month of Ramadan." He wrote
that between 5 a.m. and 10 a.m., "in defense of Muhammad," he assaulted
several officers from his cell, and that as a result, "excessive force"
was used to restrain him.
Abdulmutallab, who is acting as his own attorney in the case, also
asked the court to order that no excessive force be used on him.
Abdulmutallab, who has insisted on representing himself, is scheduled
to go to trial Oct. 4 on charges he tried to blow up a passenger
airliner with 279 passengers and 11 crew members on Christmas Day 2009
with a bomb in his underwear.
Authorities have said that Abdulmutallab is an al-Qaida operative
trained in Yemen for the suicide mission, which was foiled when a
passenger subdued Abdulmutallab. He is facing numerous criminalcharges, including conspiracy to commit terrorism.
I was born in one country,
raised in another. My father was born in another country.
I was not
his only child.

I became very close to my mother, as my father showed no

to Christianity, as it was widely accepted in my new country, but

in the public eye under scrutiny.

people as a young adult, disguising myself as someone who really cared about
them.
That was before I decided it was time to get serious about my
life and embarked on a new career.

It was clear to those who read my memoirs, that I
had difficulties accepting that my father abandoned me as a child.

became active in local politics in my 30's then, with help behind the scenes,
I literally burst onto the scene as a candidate for national office in my
40s.
They said I had a golden tongue and could talk anyone into
anything.
I had a virtually non-existent resume, little work history, and
no experience in leading a single organization.
Yet I was a powerful
speaker and citizens were drawn to me, as though I were a magnet and they
were small roofing tacks.
I drew incredibly large crowds during my public

This bolstered my ego.
At first, my political
campaign focused on my country's foreign policy...
I was very critical
of my country in the last war, and seized every opportunity to bash my

But what launched my rise to national prominence were my
views on the country's economy.
I pretended to have a really good plan on
how we could do better, and every poor person would be fed and housed for
free.
I knew which group was responsible for getting us into this

to start making citizens hate them and, if they became envious of others

Not enough people paid attention when Congress passed Sen. Ted Kennedy’s Hate Crimes Prevention Act in 2009. This new law gave legitimate, Federally protected status for every conceivable form of sexual deviancy known and has spawned a continuous downward spiral of morality in America.
“But, now, there should be no doubt that our culture is poised to begin embracing pedophilia as a lifestyle choice, just like homosexuality. A group of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals called B4U-Act, which has representatives from Harvard and Johns Hopkins, gathered recently in Baltimore to organize their push to change the negative perception of pedophiles and encourage them to get help in a nonjudgmental environment.”
Few people realize that the homosexual lifestyle itself, of which pedophilia is often associated, was always considered a mental disorder until the American Psychiatric Association (APA) voted to change it. In the early 1970s, activists campaigned against the APA Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders classification of homosexuality as a mental disorder, protesting at APA offices and at annual meetings from 1970 to 1973. In 1973 the Board of Trustees voted to remove homosexuality as a disorder category from the DSM, a decision ratified by a majority (58%) of the general APA membership the following year.
Conservative groups waged a tremendous battle in the Spring of 2009 against a new law they had called The Pedophile Protection Act which gave official Federal recognition to every deviant lifestyle. The American Family Association said since "sexual orientation" nowhere is defined in the law, "this law will give pedophiles, voyeurs, and exhibitionists special protections, which is why the bill has correctly been called 'The Pedophile Protection Act.'"
In the House version, an effort to amend the bill to exclude “pedophilia” from the Hate Crimes Prevention Act (HR 1913) was defeated in committee along party lines. Rep. Alcee Hastings (D-FL), when confronted with a list of 547 paraphilias from the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, including pedophilia, he declared that “all of these philias and fetishes and isms that were put forward – need not live in fear because of who they are.”
Following the passage of the original Hate Crimes Prevention Act (HR 1913) a storm of protest caused the U.S. Senate to delay a vote because it would not have passed. But a Democrat took the House bill and added it to a National Defense Authorization Act as an amendment and it was passed on July 23, 2009 and signed into law.
No one should be surprised that the ugly face of pedophilia is rising to a legitimate status. It has always been around. One investigation into the Catholic Church pedophile priest cases mentioned that one of the priests had actually been a member of NAMBLA. An article in Wikipedia documents the history of The North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA). NAMBLA is a pedophile and pederasty advocacy organization in the United States that works to abolish age of consent laws criminalizing adult sexual contact with minors, and for the release of all men who have been jailed for sexual contacts with minors that did not involve coercion.

This is what happens when Americans fail to pay attention to what their representatives are doing in Congress. As long as the Democrats have any say in our government we will all suffer from the adage, You get what you deserve. We can all thank our leftist controlled news media for failing to report about it.

Scratch your head often enough and the static electricity may cause a light bulb to go off. Such was the sudden unexpected illumination of understanding that I just got after reading about Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano instructing American citizens to be on the look out for suspicious activities that may lead to another terrorist attack. The Department of Homeland Security says, in a new instructional video made for broadcast television that a typical female terrorist would be a well dressed white woman between the ages of 20 to 30 years old, and the typical male terrorist would also be a white man, also between 20-30 years old, casually dressed and possibly carry a laptop, iPod or cell phone. Now we all remember that Homeland Security came out with an official document distributed to every law enforcement agency in America two years ago that cautioned them to look out for citizens driving cars with bumper stickers with radical messages about being an advocate of Pro-Life or the 2nd Amendment Right To Bear Arms, or they might be people favoring third party political candidates or even U.S. soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. This document, (U//FOUO) Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment, can still be downloaded from the government web site by clicking the link. Well now they are handing out brochures with a similar message to the general public telling them to be suspicious and report everything to the police. I seem to recall that another dictator named Adolf Hitler tried that in Germany with his Brown Shirts to identify the Jews. Here is one such pamphlet from our own DHS.
So what does all this false information blaming terrorist activity on white people got to do with preventing Islamic terrorists from another attack? It has to do with some cunningly deceptive logic. Since there appears to be a huge Muslim influence in America emanating from the White House, and the head of this effort is none other than a would be Muslim himself, Barack Hussein Obama, the logic is that another attack by Islamic terrorists would be counterproductive to Obama's attempts to get reelected next year. Mr. Obama, it should be noted, has appointed two Muslims to key posts in the Dept. of Homeland Security and that has been a matter of public record. Barack Hussein Obama has made numerous speeches stating his admiration for Islam and his extensive knowledge of the Arabic language and the Quran. In short, Obama has placed himself smack in the middle of the Islamic controversy by claiming he is on their side. Obama is the biggest friend of Islam in the Western Hemisphere. For any Muslim to engage in another World Trade Center-scale attack would severely damage Obama's cesspool-level popularity so he has endeavored to shift the blame to all those white, Christian, Bible and gun loving fanatics. Should any Muslims carry off another attack it would become very embarrassing.
This virtually guarantees that America will remain safe until after the 2012 elections. After 2012, if Obama and the Democratic Socialists are still in charge, we may be looking at another American Revolution of a different kind so the safety concerns will be off the table. His plans are already in the works to transfer American Sovereignty to the United Nations.
And as a back up plan, if the millions of starving, unemployed citizens who have lost their homes to foreclosure be tempted to engage in food riots next year, I am sure that the Dept. of Homeland Security will be among the first to recommend that Martial Law be declared and the 2012 elections postponed indefinitely. Then Obama can become our Great Leader for life.
A woman of extraordinary courage and vision is
under attack.
Pamela Geller, who was awarded last year by the Freedom Center for her courage in the war against tyranny, is the
target of a $10 million intimidation lawsuit designed to

rushed to the defense of a young girl in fear for her life.
In
July 2009, a seventeen-year-old girl named Rifqa Bary ran away from her
home in Ohio, saying that her father threatened to kill her upon
discovering that she had converted from Islam to Christianity. There
followed a
bitter custody battle: Rifqa fought hard to stay out of her parents'
home while the Islamic supremacists such as the Hamas-linked Council on
American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) did all they could to force her to go
back. Due in large part to Pamela Geller's efforts, the Islamic
supremacists
lost, and Rifqa remained free and able to exercise her freedom of
conscience. But now the losers are determined to exact revenge upon the
freedom
fighter who protected Rifqa from harm.
Omar Tarazi, the lawyer
for the parents of Rifqa Bary, is suing Pamela for ten million dollars
for
libel, for things she wrote in good faith about the case at her
acclaimed and award-winning blog AtlasShrugs.com. The great lawyer
David Yerushalmi
is representing Pamela Geller in this frivolous lawsuit, and he is
generously donating his time and expertise pro bono. Nonetheless,
Pamela's
ancillary legal expenses relating to this suit are spiraling. The Freedom Center has offered to help raise the funds needed for her legal
defense. That means we need to raise a minimum of $30,000 in
the next 48 hours to cover the first set of legal fees. Will you help

The
Left and its Islamic supremacist allies are waging a full-throttle
campaign against the freedom of speech. This campaign takes many forms:
obscene and
unfounded charges of "Islamophobia" and "hate speech," demonization and
character assassination in the mainstream media, and
— in this case — legal intimidation. The objective is always the same: to silence activists like Pamela Geller who dare to tell
the truth about the Islamic threat to the West. This push will
only become stronger now in the aftermath of the tragedy in Norway, for
which
Pamela has been unfairly blamed. In the eyes of the Left and the Islamic
supremacists, Pamela has committed Orwellian "thought crime," and
for that she must be punished.

Like a lot of other patriotic Christians whenever I hear an elected official mention the name of Jesus Christ or God in a public speech I begin to have admiration for them. Last week when Texas Governor Rick Perry announced his candidacy for president I started thinking about my dream team for the Republican Party ticket next year. Any combination of Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin or Allen West seemed like a sure thing. I admit that I knew little about the governor from Texas except that he has gotten a lot of praise in conservative publications in the last few years. Then I read today a commentary by Steve Baldwin on WorldNet that yanked open my eyes. 10 questions Rick Perry must answeris one commentary that every Republican needs to read.
Every one of these questions opens up a serious dialog on the genuine conservative credentials of this politician. For instance, why has it never been mentioned before that - Gov. Perry did not become a Republican until 1989 and served as Texas chairman of Al Gore's presidential campaign in 1988 – as Steve Baldwin asks in question #3? Or that Rick Perry joined the elitist Bilderberg group in 2007. Steve Baldwin correctly describes the Bilderbergs as: “The Bilderberg group is a secret society composed of hundreds of the world's most powerful elites, most of whom are hostile to the notion of sovereignty and support world government to varying degrees. They are strong supporters of the U.N., EU, and other one-world entities. Invitations are only extended to people who share their views.” I know this is fact because I have read about them decades ago and their secret annual gatherings promoting One World Government.
But then we all know that most of what we read comes
from the liberal controlled news media and they were responsible for
resurrecting the dying primary campaign of RINO Sen. John McCain because he was the
weakest Republican and stood the best chance of losing. We have seen the hatchet job the mainstream news media did on Sarah Palin and is now doing on Michele Bachmann so it is not surprising to find out they may be protecting the sordid reputation of Rick Perry. The liberal news media pulled the rug out from under McCain after he won the Republican nomination and could easily do the same with Gov. Rick Perry if his popularity began to jeopardize their anointed Barack Hussein Obama.
As if this wasn’t enough, the Baldwin commentary adds two more significant questions that convince me that Rick Perry is a counterfeit conservative. Rick Perry favors the government right to confiscate private land. Question 8) “Gov. Perry vetoed an eminent-domain bill that would have helped protect property rights for Texas landowners.” And Question 9) "Gov. Perry signed a hate-crimes bill." The Federal version of the Hate Crime bill grants protected legitimate status to over 500 deviant lifestyles to such a degree it was labeled the Pedophile Protection Act. You should be aware that conservative groups waged a tremendous battle months ago against a new law they had called The Pedophile Protection Act which gave official Federal recognition to every deviant lifestyle. The American Family Association said since "sexual orientation" nowhere is defined in the law, "this law will give pedophiles, voyeurs, and exhibitionists special protections, which is why the bill has correctly been called 'The Pedophile Protection Act.'"

The Texas governor has no chance of winning any votes from those who consider themselves to be true conservatives. If we are going to win back America from the clutches of the Democratic Socialists who are raping our economy and plundering our treasury and trashing our Bill of Rights, we need candidates with true character and solid principles. My hope still rests with Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin.

While AIM’s focus has primarily been bias in the news media, bias in
the entertainment industry has been just as bad, and in some cases even
worse. There is no equivalent of Fox News or talk radio when it comes to
the television entertainment and film industries. Conservatives have
nowhere to turn, so it largely becomes a game of spotting the left-wing
messages embedded in the programming. It’s generally quite easy to do.
In my recent interview with Ben Shapiro, author of the outstanding new book, Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How The Left Took Over Your TV,
we discussed the likelihood of concerted Hollywood efforts to help
Barack Obama win reelection next year. He said he “would be shocked if
Hollywood does not bring out either a TV movie or a different movie
right before the election cycle. Probably they’ll bring out two movies.
One will be about Barack Obama and the death of bin Laden, and the other
will be about whoever the Republican candidate is, some back-story.
Whether Palin or Perry, it’s going to be something that paints
Republicans as bad guys, or as obstructionists… They will bring out
something, right before the election, in an attempt to influence it.
They’ve done it before.”
At the time of the interview, one such movie had been announced, but
not the timing of the release. That has now been confirmed, thanks to
The New York Times’ Maureen Dowd, who wrote about the Obama
administration’s cooperation with the team that created last year’s “The
Hurt Locker,” which won six Academy Awards. According to Dowd,
“The White House is also counting on the Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal
big-screen version of the killing of Bin Laden to counter Obama’s
growing reputation as ineffectual. The Sony film by the Oscar-winning
pair who made ‘The Hurt Locker’ will no doubt reflect the president’s
cool, gutsy decision against shaky odds. Just as Obamaland was hoping,
the movie is scheduled to open on Oct. 12, 2012 — perfectly timed to
give a home-stretch boost to a campaign that has grown tougher.
“The moviemakers are getting top-level access to the most classified
mission in history from an administration that has tried to throw more
people in jail for leaking classified information than the Bush
administration.
“It was clear that the White House had outsourced the job of manning
up the president’s image to Hollywood when Boal got welcomed to the
upper echelons of the White House and the Pentagon and showed up
recently — to the surprise of some military officers — at a C.I.A.
ceremony celebrating the hero Seals.”
This had to sting at the White House, coming from the usually
reliable Dowd. In response, Bigelow and Boal have issued a statement
that there is no political agenda at work. But in response to that,
Andrew Breitbart’s Big Hollywood has called on
them to prove it, by delaying the release date until well after the
election, so even the promotion of the film does not come at a time when
it might be thought of as promoting Obama’s reelection.
The interview with Ben Shapiro was primarily about the TV
entertainment industry, and how it came to be the purveyor of left-wing
values and propaganda that is so obvious to most viewers, even those
sympathetic to such views. Shapiro talked to many Hollywood producers,
and received surprisingly candid acknowledgments of their clearly
intended bias. Their agenda isn’t limited to including political and
social views that they hold dearly, but also excluding storylines and
views that are, shall we say, conservative, politically speaking.
Below, in italics, are excerpts from my interview with Ben Shapiro.

My approach was pretty simple. It was, “Get into the
door with these people, and talk to them.” That’s what distinguishes
Primetime Propaganda from any other book that’s ever been written on
TV—I actually went and spoke with the people who are involved in the
making of these shows. I asked them, “What did you mean when you made
the show? What was your political intent here? What were you trying to
do?” They were kind enough to have me there, and to answer the
questions. Now, they probably did that because they were stereotyping
me—my last name is Shapiro, I went to Harvard Law School, I live in Los
Angeles, I have parents who work in Hollywood—as you said, there’s a
really good shot that I’d be a liberal.
Creators tended to be very much to the Left, because they were drawn
from vaudeville, the heavily socialist-influenced Jewish vaudeville and
radio community. After World War II and the rise of TV, there is that
major split—the creators who are Lefties, and the executives who are
more Right-leaning.
…the TV industry continues to be based on the weird notion that young
people are worth more, and if young people are worth more, you have to
target them, young people happen to be liberal, the programming is
liberal—and therefore they now have a market justification for what they
wanted to do all along, which is to shove their politics down the
throats of Americans.
To me, the single greatest indicator of the power of television is
the rise of the gay marriage movement. 40 years ago, even 30 years ago,
who would have thought that we’d be sitting here debating whether gay
marriage was inevitable? It wouldn’t have even occurred to us.
What is effective is one of the tactics they’ll use in The Good Wife a
lot where it’s always the corporate guy who’s the bad guy, the rich
white guy. Law & Order does this all the time. Everybody who is
bad on that show is an upper class white person. Everybody who is
virtuous on that show is a victimized minority. That is something that
they love to do, and that has a long term impact. It means that people
hate corporations. It means people hate businessmen. It means that
people tend to think that anybody who has made a lot of money in this
country got it by being absolutely corrupt. That does have a tremendous
impact on our debate.
The same people who are overseeing the news production are overseeing
everything else. Jeff Zucker—who was offered the position of press
secretary in Al Gore’s administration in 2000, if Al Gore had
won—started off running The Today Show, and he ended up rising up to be
the head of the network. Well, when he’s head of the network he’s
running both the news division—with, at that point, it would have been
Katie Couric, I think—and at the same time he’s running the
entertainment division. So the same people are making all the decisions
as far as programming and as far as bias. It’s no surprise that, if
you have the same people running the news as running the entertainment,
they all tend to reflect the same values.
In 1984 there was a TV movie you may remember, The Day After. That
movie was the highest rated TV movie of all time when it came out. What
it was was the effects of nuclear war. What happens if there is a
nuclear war between the Soviets and the United States? It shows the
impact: Everybody dies. Everybody has cancer. Everybody’s skin is
flaking off. It was really graphic and gruesome and lovely. And the
director of that movie, Nick Meyer, he said to me that the whole goal of
that movie, to him, was to prevent Ronald Reagan’s reelection. Now
that is an in kind contribution—there’s no doubt about it.
Oprah was probably the single greatest factor in getting Obama
elected. She had a tremendous impact. She has millions and millions of
followers. She is a black woman who is non-threatening to white
people. She basically said “Obama’s like me.”
It was a very Hollywood-produced campaign. I mean, he had Davis
Guggenheim doing all of his campaign videos, he had George Clooney
giving him political and image advice, and people in TV and movies were
donating tremendous amounts of cash to the Obama campaign. Then they
were going out in their shows and they were doing things—like in Family
Guy, there’s an episode where Stewie, who’s the baby, and Brian, who’s
the dog, travel back in time to Nazi Germany. They kill a Nazi, and it
turns out that on the Nazi’s lapel is a Palin-McCain sticker. That kind
of stuff happened pretty commonly during the 2008 election. So they
bring out as many forces as they can muster. I don’t think it’s going
to work quite as well this time—because now President Obama has an
egregiously horrible record…
Hollywood gets all sorts of tax benefits from different states. They
get all sorts of tax benefits from the federal government… If you look
at Hollywood and its production facilities, they’ve been moving out of
the country largely in order to avoid tax consequences. They’ve been
moving to Vancouver for a while, they’re moving to Europe. Now they’re
moving to different states that are offering them tax incentives.
[Obama] went to the head of GE, Jeff Immelt, he went to Bob Iger over
at Disney, which owns ABC, and at CBS he went directly to Les Moonves,
who’s the head of CBS, Viacom. And he asked them—all three of whom, by
the way, are major Obama donors—politely, supposedly, “Will you please
put me on TV?” And they did. They put him on, and they got horrible
ratings. So You Think You Can Dance—a rerun—won the night, with an
eleven share or something. So, all well and good, President Obama
levers his power in order to get what he needs done. Except there’s one
problem: There’s a kickback. About a week later The New York Times
reports that President Obama has come to an agreement with the
pharmaceutical industry. The pharmaceutical industry is now going to
endorse President Obama’s Obamacare bill, and he’s going to cap their
liability at $80 billion over the next ten years. Well, buried in that
story is a nice little kind of gem which is, as part of the deal, the
pharmaceutical industry has to commit to spending $150 million on
television advertising in favor of Obamacare. So that was the back
scratch. He went to the networks and he said, “You need to put me on.
Don’t worry, I’ll make the money up for you. I will use my power to get
you your money.” Then he went to the pharmaceutical companies and he
basically blackmailed them. He said, “I’ll limit your liability, but in
order for me to do that you’re going to have to spend a bunch of money
on my friends over here.” That’s the way that’s the way the
Hollywood-D.C. back scratch works.
The media has tried to ignore [my book, Primetime Propaganda]. So The New York Times had a blog item
about it because it’s caused such a stir in Hollywood that we’ve
actually had major Hollywood organizations having to pass resolutions
condemning political discrimination within the industry. So The New
York Times had a blog about it. The Hollywood Reporter did a really
nice, long coverage piece. It was an ongoing story in both Variety and The HollywoodReporter,
which was great. They did a good job because it’s an industry story.
The LA Times had their TV columnist Patrick Goldstein interview me. He
ran a long piece
in the Sunday Times that was actually really funny. It was typical
leftist reporting. He ignored all the cases that I had brought up, he
ignored all the evidence that I marshaled, and he said, “You know, I
asked one of my friends, whether there’s discrimination in Hollywood.
He said ‘no.’ He’s working in Hollywood, so I’ll just pretend that he is
the voice of all of Hollywood, that there is no discrimination. One of
my friends said it, so it must be true.”
In terms of in terms of The Today Show, no, they didn’t have me on.
The View was considering it, didn’t have me on. They don’t want to have
me on because I have tape. I have the goods. When they have on
conservatives it’s usually so that they can, you know, bash them around a
little bit… So in terms of the mainstream media coverage, there was
virtually none. It was all talk radio, Fox News, and maybe The
Hollywood Reporter and Variety. The European press, by the way, did a
very good job of covering it.
When conservatives make entertainment, we need to be great at it. We
really cannot go off half-cocked. We can’t do it in a really mediocre
way. Unfortunately, a lot of the conservative entertainment actually is
underfunded. It’s not done very well, it’s not made by professionals,
it’s not written by professionals, and it either looks shoddy, or it’s
acted shoddily, or it reads shoddy… But I have yet to see the
conservative movement put the kind of money and effort into
entertainment necessary to make it really great, and that’s a blemish on
our record. Because if conservatives don’t take entertainment
seriously, then we’ve lost this battle.
Scary title. Well, Yes it is, because it could be true. America has come to the brink of being bankrupt thanks to the tax and spend Democrats and RINOs (liberal Republicans) who have taxed Americans and American business to death and squandered the proceeds. And what happens afterward if no one steps in to help us out is called a liquidation sale. Relating the business way of dealing with bankruptcy to an entire country is unpredictable because no one can actually buy a entire country but they can buy up huge chunks of it. The National Parks, the Interstate Highway system, the United States Forest Service, the United States Bureau of Reclamation, Tennessee Valley Authority, all of the land owned by the Federal government. Take a look at this map showing the extent of land owned and controlled by the Federal government:
Imagine it being sold to the highest bidder. Imagine the bankruptcy being a planned, intentional act. And as long as Barack Hussein Obama is in the White House and the Democrats control half the Congress, as long as liberal RINOs vote with them, it doesn't look like help is coming. And who may profit from such a liquidation sale? Billionaires like George Soros who is a major supporter of liberal Democrats and RINOs.

How did America get this way? Step back 10 years and read the following column written by Charlie Reese of the Orlando Sentinel as he explains how the problem was created. I got this in an email today but this has been around the Internet for several years. That doesn't change one bit of the truth and makes it even more important to keep spreading the word because of the crucial, life or death elections coming up in 2012. It is obvious no one paid any attention to this wisdom until the TEA Party exploded on the national scene last year and the news media couldn't bury the story. Thanks to people like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann we took back control of the House but we fell short of control of the Senate. 545 vs 300,000,000 People By Charlie Reese
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.
Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?
Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?
You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.
You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.
You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.
You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.
You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.
One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.
I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.
I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician millions of dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.
Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.
What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.
The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. The Speaker of the House (the leader of the majority party) and his/her fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.
It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.
If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.
If the Army and Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...
They receive social security and are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
There are no insolvable government problems.
Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.
These 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.
They, and they alone, have the power.
They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.
Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees...
We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!
